    New Garage Door

    I purchased a new garage door and had it along with an opener installed. I worked with Antony who was very quick to call me when I first inquired about the new door. He made an appointment with me that worked with my schedule and answered all of my questions/provided all of the information I needed. For items he was not totally sure about he contacted someone in the office to ensure he provided me with accurate information. The garage door was installed on the date that I scheduled with Dodds and the installer arrived well within the suggested arrival time. I made sure he was okay and had what he needed before I left for work. I arrived home to a clean work site, with the new door and opener installed. The installed programmed everything as expected and the remotes were left where he said they would be. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and experience with Dodds.

    garage door

    The door was installed well but the mechanical opener was a problem to get installed. I had to phone and ask about it and had 2 no shows when someone was supposed to come here. Finally got it installed and all is well.

A clients garage must be clear a minimum of 10 feet back from the opening in order for us to be able to complete an installation and in this instance the garage was full and we could not install the opener. Once the client cleared the space we returned to install the opener.Our team is always there for you and we want your experience at Dodds to be easy and comfortable.

    new garage door

    The installer from Dodds took great care and pride in his work when installing our new door. The gentleman even cleaned up all the sensor wiring. I was very impressed!

    repair garage door

    the service rep from Dodds Garage Door Systems was probably one of the best service calls i have ever had. The rep went out of his way to ensure that the garage door would function properly in the years to come. I would recommend Dodds to anyone.

    Garage door

    Installer arrived by the idicated time. No issues with installation. Installation was somewhat messy as Installer needed to trim wood frames around door opening, to esure proper fit, but he cleaned everything up after the installation. No additional work for me to do! The door looks really good, with no gaps around the frame or at the bottom.

    New Garage Doors

    I was very impressed with the quality of service and the professionalism of the technician that was here for the better part of the day. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He made sure I knew what he would be doing and then completed the work in a timely manner. Highly recommend Dodd's Doors!

    My door did not open

    Dodds Doors always arrives when they say they will and they always fix my OLD door. I no longer wonder who to call... I just call Dodds. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. From cables that wore out to hinges that disconnected to motors that did not pull.... each time they had it up and running in a timely fashion. I am sure when the time comes we will replace the doors with Dodds Doors.

    Installation of new garage door

    Dodds responded quickly to our call and the rep who came to the house was polite, professional and knowledgable. I was offered a wide variety of options for doors and finishing touches that weren't offered by competitors who I contacted for estimates. The installation was completed while I was at work and everything was left in perfect order, including resetting my existing garage door opener. I felt that the final cost was fair based on the quality of the service and product. I recommend Dodds to anyone needing reliable, hassle free garage door services.

    Garage door torsion spring replacement

    The spring on my garage door basically "exploded" in the middle of the night of the long weekend with an awful racket. I saw what the problem was and started to research door companies on Homestars the next day, having used the site before and found excellent tradesmen. Dodds stood out from the rest by the number of first rate reviews, so I sent an e-mail requesting a call/quote for the next morning. I was called promptly the next morning by a very knowledgeable and patient individual, and arranged for Chris, who works the Whitby area to come by. Chris came, surveyed the damage, made his suggestions, and was very reassuring. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and was finished in no time at all. I am grateful for the excellent service from all aspects; they did exactly what they said they would do, on time, and for the quoted price. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my neighbours for garage door repair or replacement.

    Replace Garage Door

    I was looking to replace my 15 year old steel door with a carriage style insulated garage door. I called 3 different companies for quotes and ended up choosing Dodds. After initially calling them, they came out the next day to give me a quote. There quote was very reasonable and the installers were professional and left the place spotless before they left. Overall extremely happy with Dodds and would recommend Doods to anyone.
