    New Garage Door

    I had searched on Homestars looking for a garage door company to replace the original door that came with our house. We chose Dodds Doors and were not disappointed. From the after 6pm at home personal consultation to the perfect install, Doods Doors delivers with white glove service. We are very, very happy and will continue to refer them!

    broken garage door

    a few years back I used an outfit called pro-master garage service for a garage door service. I found them out of the yellow pages, instead of homestars. what a big mistake. I now believe from that company I was sold stuff I didn't need and that I was gouged. I vowed next time I had a garage door problem i would go on homestars. I did and chose Dodds and they were fast and easily half the price of my last repair, and very courteous. A word of advice.. don't necessarily go for the cheapest call out price, like I did before.

    Thank you for this review John. OUR GARAGE DOOR REPAIRMEN ARE NOT ON COMMISSION!! You only pay for what is needed. Many G.T.A. garage door companies pay their technicians' commission, very often resulting in you paying for work not required. Don't be fooled by companies that quote a lower price on the phone only to see that price shoot way up when a repair technician diagnoses problems that may not exist, as that is how they make their money.

    New Garage Door & Opener Installation

    We are extremely pleased with our new door and opener.Antony came by took the measurements and provided us with a quote. Our installer came to our house right on time and did a great job installing the door. He cleaned up everything and wiped down the doors to make them shine. I highly recommend them for your needs. Great customer service!

    Replaced garage door

    We needed a new garage door to replace the 15 year old that originally came with the house when it was built. Mike, a company representative, arrived and thoroughly knew the company and it's products. He arrived right on time and was able to give his professional opinion on what type of door would look good on our house and colour recommendations. We love our new door. We have been impressed with Dodds communication throughout the process and would highly recommend this company. They were priced well. Mike was honest and upfront about what we REALISTICALLY needed in a garage door. He didn't try to rope us into the most expensive door for the sake of making money. We love our door and we would return to Dodds in a second for any future needs.

    Overhead Garage Door

    Last night I had to put in an 'emergency' call to your on-call line and had the pleasure of working with Wilf. He was absolutely great. Our garage door would not close - so he went and checked it. It had been affected by our security contractors working on the cameras and access system and during the day they had left without making sure the doors were locking or closing! Great security if you have cameras and electronic fobs and then leave the barn door open for the horse to leave! He went over and above his role as the garage door contractor and we walked him through how to re-set - he had to go and get the keys from the lockbox and gain access to the Maintenance Room and then find the panel. It wasn't a totally wasted visit as one of the cables was frayed and a roller was rusted and needed changing. Just wanted to share my experience with this man Wilf. He was stellar and I hope you can pass this onto whomever his boss is!

    Garage Door Opener and Springs

    I called DODDS' for a quote on replacing springs and garage door opener. They recommended a "beefed up" opener:Liftmaster. Installer arrived on time, Sept 25, 2014. He quickly replaced springs and lubed with WD40 for 265 + HST. Then replaced my existing opener with a Liftmaster 8557 A/C Belt Drive opener, $424 + HST. Clean up was excellent. Has been working well since installed 3 months ago. Recommend.

    Garage Doors Installation

    The installer not only did a fine job but was back as promised a couple of more times in next two days, once for technical reasons and then to do caulking since it was raining earlier. Unfortunately there were quite some stains left on weather stripping what in close view was spoiling otherwise perfect picture and which I tried but couldn't clean myself, The management though followed up the installation with satisfaction survey, and when I brought my concerns to their attention, customer service manager Stan immediately came to inspect it and later fixed the problem (many thanks to Stan and owner Les as well). I was hesitating a bit to give the company 10 rating since in my view it's warranted when the job is perfect from the beginning but willing to give a credit to management for that true thriving to customer satisfaction

    New Garage Doors

    We are very happy with the quality of our new garage doors, as well as the workmanship and installation. They were actually able to install ahead of schedule and did a great job of removing all of the old garage doors and the garbage as well as reinstalling the garage door opener and making sure that everything worked perfectly. Thank you Dodds, we love our new doors.

    New garage door installation

    After a couple initial bumps in the road, all of my minor concerns were corrected and fixed to my satisfaction. My new garage door looks great and is whisper quiet when operating. I am pleased that Dodds were concerned with my complete satisfaction and took the time to make things right for me. The new door certainly adds to the value of my home and is far superior to the original door that I had for 30 years. Everyone I dealt with in the office, the installer and the service men were very professional and courteous.

    Garage door repair

    Needed to repair lock on 8 yr old garage door. Art came on time, worked efficiently and even oiled the squeak! Everything fixed and in good working order now. Thx Art!
