    Bathroom Tap Reinstallation

    I had a simple job - to remove two bathroom facucets and sinks from an existing counter and reinstall in a new counter. I had the first part done at the bargain(?) price of $269 befor tax for approximately 1 hours work. He took them out and made a big production about the hair in the traps. Quote to reinstall was $488 (before tax)even though taps were already assembled. No flexibility in price - they are preset. Had it done by another plumber for $100. Net is Drainworks is professional, but comes with attidtude and high cost.

    H.in Oakville - let's remember that you made an appointment and agreed to our $69 assessment fee for one of our plumbers to come to your home. Once there, we gave you a price to disconnect and remove 2 sinks and 2 faucets for $200 which you agreed to and we completed the task. Further to that you requested pricing for additional work to be done at a future date - which you were given. The way in which DrainWorks conducts business is that we give our clients the option to proceed or not to proceed with quoted work - up front. You decide. What would have been better to do in your case? Do the work and then give you the cost owed and then negotiate? Most people would agree that giving an up front price and an option to proceed/ not to proceed is the right way to do business. Lastly, wondering why your $100 plumber wasn't there originally to do the first part of the work - nevermind the second part which you claim.

    Plumbing

    Its too bad we needed more than one visit to get it right but now we have our new dual flush Caroma Sydney toilet (better for environment) and it is the right one. (Our kids asked if it flushed the opposite way like they do in Australia ;)

    Install new shower system in master bath

    Just recently I had Drainworks come and fix a guest bathroom in our home. The job they did was exceptional. As the saying goes when it rains it pours. No sooner was the guest bathroom shower fixed by Drainworks, our master bathroom shower became dysfunctional. Once again I called Drainworks and this time they had to replace the master shower faucets which were about 20 years old with a brand new up-to-date shower system. What a great job. Chris really knows his work and is a pleasure to have come into the home to work on a job. We were up and working that same day. If ever in doubt call Drainworks. They are reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy.

    plugged drain

    We had a drain back up into the basement and caused quite a mess. Drainworks came in to take a look. They snaked the drain and descovered it was blocked by tree roots. I was pleasantly suprised with the service we recieved. Customer service was #1 right from the start. We spoke with William to book the service. He explained in detail that a service guy would be out and that we would get a call when the service man was on route to our house and that everystep would be explained to us and that the charge would be up front and to the penny with no added charges once the price wos agreed upon. I was notified that the service man, Mike, was on his way and he showed up in about 20-30 mins Immediately Mike put me at ease with his personable attitude and took care to respect our house, putting booties over his shoes and covering the equipment so there was no mess being dragged through our house. Over all Drainworks took what had the potential of being a highly stressful situation and making it a pleasent managable experience. Drainworks will be my compony of choice if we need such services in future and we will,for sure,be reccomending Drainworks to our friends. Thanks .

    Basement Drain Replacement

    I hired Drainworks Etobicoke to diagnose a funny smell in my basement that I suspected was coming from the drains. Not only was drainworks upfront about their pricing, but they figured out the problem the first time they came to look at the basement. They gave me a quote as well as a couple of options for fixing the problem. Drainworks also come out the same day that I called them. Other plummers I called for quotes didn't even return my calls. Some plumbers wanted to figure out the problem by fixing it in stages, charging me each time they came out until the problem was figured out. I think that I paid a fair price to replace the floor drain and a portion of the drainage pipe in the concrete floor that had been clogged with tree roots. After replacing this plumbing the smell in my basement is gone and I am very happy with the work that they did. They also have very friendly and knowledgeable technicians. I would hire Drainworks for any future plumbing.

    Washroom renovations

    I knew just what Moen parts I wanted, the Drainworks guy gave me a satisfactory quote, ordered the parts in a timely manner, and installed them in a full day of work. They even installed under-vanity taps as a courtesy, without even asking! Now I have "power showers" and enjoy the feel of good plumbing. All throughout, their manner was highly professional--even cleaning up after themselves (not every tradesmen do that!). I also appreciated the Senior's discount, and the ability to pay with my debit card. That tells me that Drainworks is a "with-it" outfit!

    Replacement of Clay Pipes in Riverdale

    When I discovered I had to replace my clay pipes I was concerned, although I knew it had to be done. Although it was not cheap, and I assume if you shop around you may be able to get the job done for a little bit cheaper, I doubt you will receive the customer service that was provided by this company. Drainworks walked me through the process step by step and was professional every step of the way. When I had questions, they were quick to answer and understood that this was something I had not planned to do originally, and was a little overwhelmed by the scope of the job. When all was said and done, I think they did an excellent job in just a matter of days. They cleaned up after they were done and followed up to make sure there were no problems. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks.

    Old clay trap removal and replacement

    We discovered a sewage backup in our basement washroom-- within half an hour of calling Drainworks, they were on the scene! Mike Dunn and team were incredibly courteous, professional and kept us informed of the problem and the work required to fix the immediate problem (blockage) and put in long term solution (replace the old clay trap with 2 PVC cleanouts.

    install plumbing and faucets for sink

    Everything was done in a professional manner from start to finish. I would recommend Drainworks. Very good work. Excellent quality all around. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

    Assisted with sewer back up

    They were very quick and professional. Did a thorough job and answered all our questions. Followed up after the job was done and even came back to show us with the camera that the pipes had been cleared and remained cleared. Explained the bill in detail and overall did a wonderful job. We would use them again and recommend them highly.
