    Plumbing Sewer Clearing

    Our sewer pipe was clogged and after failing to clear it myself, I called Drainworks to snake it out with their full size equipment. Because they did this back in July and had warned me that it appears that my pipe may be broken; now in November, I decided to get them back. This time, after Mike snaked through, he was able to show me that the pipe was really broken. He was able to schedule a crew to dig down 10 feet in the front to replace that portion and to install new stack cleanouts. I saw that they did a good job even in the cold weather. The next day, Mike returned to do an inspection. His snake camera showed my pipes are in good shape from the back to the city sewers. At all times, everyone from Drainworks exhibited professional and understanding attitude and I would recommend them.

    Clogged toilet

    The guys who came were quick and friendly. We chatted about kids while he and his partner fixed the problem. They gave me a price break too, which helped. And probably most importantly the problem was fixed, quickly. I'd recommend them to other people. I liked that they gave me a quote over the phone, too, something another comapny wasn't willing to do when I phoned them.

    Clearing clogged Toilet

    I had three young children playing in my basement. One of them put a ceramic toy cup in the toilet. I was unable to snake it clear myself, so I called DrainWorks. They arrived promptly in about an hour, as promised, and cleared the cup out in about 45 minutes. The toilet works great and there is now a child proof lock on the basement washroom door!

    snaking drain

    My basement drain was flooding with water. We couldn't even do a wash or wash any dishes cause my basement was filling with water. I called drainworks, they were very professional and prompt. Jeremy came over that same day, Sunday, and resolved the issue. I felt they were honest, explained things thoroughly and the price was reasonable.

    Repair Drain

    The service I received right from when I called to when the job was finished was perfect. They where at my home within a hour or two of my call and had the problem fixed right a way. I will us DrainWorks again for any future plumbing needs. Thanks.

    Various small plumbing jobs

    Drainworks are real pros. This is my second time using them and once again they came when they said they would and did a great job. I have never had tradespeople who were as dependable and good as these guys.

    replace 30 ft of basement sewer drain, replace 15 ft of old city lead water intake with 3/4'' copper, replace 8 ft of old exterior sewer drain

    My basement sewer drain backed up but fortunately with little mess. I was pretty sure it was a tree root (my neighbour had similar problems). I got three quotations...but called Drainworks last because they were the company my neighbour dealt with and he had a positive experience. I initally thought that I would just replace the exterior portion of the sewer drain from my exterior wall to the property line after a camera snake showed a big root in the old clay pipe ($2400 - and hopefully get $2000 back from the City). However, upon further camera snake inspection, the rest of the interior sewer drain (31 ft) was compromized and would, sooner or later, need replacing ($2900)- we are not planning to move. I also knew that I wanted to change my old 1/2" lead water intake to 3/4" copper to increase water pressure and reduce lead particulate matter ($1200). In the end, I had a sense from friends about the ballpark cost of these three upgrades and the quotations from Drainworks were competetive. I also knew, from friends, that Drainworks was reputable. In the end, the job was done quickly with a minimum of mess. Armando Gatti was the service technician; he kept me informed. I felt he dealt with me professionally. All prices incl. tax. I would call Drainworks again.

    toilet clog fix

    Mike showed up, was friendly even 'involving' my extrodinarily curious son in the process. He described the job completely complete with cost and how all the pricing would work, including their 5-day guarantee. He did the work efficiently and was very, very clean. He fully cleaned the bathroom, it was wonderful. I highly recommend Drain Work (we had an equally positive experience this summer).

    pipes replaced

    We discovered the old 85 year old cast iron stack vent was leaking, and while calling around to get quotes from other plumbing companies, all of whom have high ratings on Homestars, Drainworks was the only company that showed up at the time they said they would. From William at the office who coordinated our initial inquiries through to Naz and his crew who worked speedily and efficiently (as well as tidily), we appreciated Drainworks' prompt and professional service. Extra kudos and thanks to Armando, who answered all our questions thoroughly and amiably (especially when Drainworks discovered damage to another of the old pipes). While solid workmanship is vital, Drainworks seems to understand that customer service is just as important.

    Dig out and replacement of part of clay sewer pipe

    We used Drainworks to replace part of the clay pipe in our sewer line. Tree roots have been an ongoing problem in our house, necessitating the sewer line be snaked out every year or so. The company was quick and efficient. After digging a large hole and replacing the pipe, they did a good job cleaning up and making sure I approved the final result. They arrived on time, as promised, and completed the job on time.
