    Upgrade of drain pipes and water service

    I just wish there was a company like Drainworks for each trade. The efficiency, quality, professionalism of the crew was something I had never seen before. I can't assess their pricing but given how good the overall experience was I'd be suprised if they were not honest people pricing fairly.

    Drain Replacement Plumbing Fixes

    We began using Drainworks when we needed to have our drains replaced. Jeremy Harris was the technician and he explained everything very clearly, was extremely professional, and offered a very quick turnaround for the job. The crew was very efficient, left the job site in perfect condition, and the customer service department really facilitated the refund from the city. Subsequent to this, we joined the Diamond Club/Perfect Plumbing Club and have used Drainworks for several plumbing related issues. The technicians are always polite and capable, but most importantly, they are always on-time and the job is done right. There are cheaper providers but Drainworks represents good value for the money, and I'm ok paying a little more for the peace of mind.

    Drain replacement, due to root breach.

    Professional, cleanly, courteous, respectful. I have never received service quite like this. Did what was required of them and left no trace that they had ever been there. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone needing plumbing or drains.

    Clogged bath tub drain

    Jeremy Harris, the technician who came to our house, did a really good job. He was here within an hour, and only left when the water was flowing freely through the drain again. I will recommend this company to friends and family, for sure. It is not the first of such service providers we use, and by far it was the best.

    New pipes through basement

    Mike and the crew from Drainworks was awesome. They were professional the entire job through, extremely thorough and explained everything to us as they went along. They did a really great job both in workmanship and in quality of service. We would recommend them to anyone!

    kitchen sink unblocked

    Our kitchen sink was blocked, so we called Drainworks to clear the blockage and snake the drain. I felt comfortable calling them because they are always polite and helpful. I was impressed by how pleasant and efficient Matt was. I really appreciate the way they go to the trouble to leave the site tidy and clean.

    Bathroom sink and toilet blockage

    We had a longterm problem with our bathroom sink and toilet finally solved. Lou and Eric were fast, efficient and friendly and nice to get our problems solved without any hassel. Excellant work guys! Thanks for the extra tips.

    Cleared+ diagnosed back up of basement drain

    We called DrainWorks, and Jeremy Harris arrived within the hour. He examined our backed up basement drain, then explained his preliminary assessment, and what he would do to further assess the problem and try to fix it. He explained it could be a one- or two-phase process, and the cost of each possibility. - Jeremy used his scope to examine our pipes both inside and downstream from our house. He invited us out and showed us what he was seeing in his scope (roots penetrating clay pipe). Because this potentially affected our neighbour, we invited our neighbour out to meet Jeremy, who then took us again through the "tour" of the outside pipes, and helped us be clear about what we were seeing. - Then, and later while we were taking care of payment, Jeremy gave us helpful advice on dealing with the City (it's their clay pipe) about what to do with the wet carpet in the basement and insurance issues. - Jeremy was pleasant and helpful the work was not complex, but we were confident with what he'd done and he was generous with his advice and time. We would gladly use his services again.

    blocked sinks in 3 bathrooms

    Very happy with prompt services. Plumber (Jeremy) very friendly and explained likely problem and then dealt with it in a professional manner with little or no mess. I wholeheartedly recommend this company and if the rest of the crew is like the plumber who came to our house (same one on both visits), you will not get nicer service.

    Waterproof back wall

    There was a minor flooding in my basement after a big rainstorm. Two inspectors (Mike Dunn and Eric Fralic) from DrainWorks arrived at my house almost immediately after the call, and managed to locate the source of leak in no time. Accidentlly they found a dead raccoon under the hedge. It was so kind of them to offer to help me take care of the digging and burial of the decomposing carcass. I would not have survived the smell of it! The digging of the 10 foot "trench" began the next day. The three Eastern European workmen (headed by Mischa) were very quietly efficient. By the end of the next day, the affected back wall was officially waterproven, with everything (hedges, soil, patio bricks) back to its place without the slightest hint of a mess. The only sign that will give away two days of hard labour is the drooped leaves all over the back wall from an old climbing ivy. The roots probably have not survived the shock. But that's about the only casualty one can see. A few days later, Mke and Eric came back for a follow-up. Since the loose soil will take a few weeks to settle down, some of the patio bricks are destined to sink down a bit. Mike promised to send his guys in one month to put some top soil underneath the bricks to even things out. Excellent job thus far! Most highly recommended.
