From the original call in to JP in the office the process was explained in detail to us.
The nice thing about Drainworks is they came, assessed the situation and then gave us an on site quotation. No charges were incurred before we knew the problem and what it would cost to repair it.
Due to recent 'renovation' I had two clogged drains which required snaking out. Armando and Luke arrived promptly, told me the agreed upon cost and they snaked the large drain.
For the smaller drain: as my home was built in 1952 we had a very short pipe for my bathroom sink that extended from the wall only 1/8" of an inch.
The short pipe made it impossible to connect to the sink without having a leak, and due to a tiny sink cabinet, the wall is difficult to access. After snaking, in order to confirm the drain was clear Armando came up with a solution to break through a small section of wall and extend the wall pipe without soldering or having to have a second visit by another plumber.
I was very surprised by how quickly things happened and all of this took place in less than 2 hours.
Finally, I also got some advice about the need to enlarge the main pipes that go into the floor in the basement. I was advised I will require 3" pipe in the basement and the cost for doing the work. I was told I was okay for now and could wait on this work.
Hope this helps anyone with a similar situation - and thanks HomeStars for being there for us!
