    sewer lines

Pricing was reasonable neither high nor low end. Great from start to finish did the work as promised and on time reviewed before work started to ensure what was agreed upon what was to be done and followed through.Assisted with contacts for city and waited for inspector to show until I got home from work Came for final inspection and review was very through and addressed any questions .Advised of other potential issues but left it up to myself as to resolution Very professional start to finish would certainly use again.

    Drain/sewage back-up

DrainWorks came to our rescue late in the evening on a rental property we owned that had its sewage system back-up. Matt Achcinski was very efficient, competent and was able to resolve the problem to our relief. DrainWorks responded quickly and we would not hesitate at all to use their services again, should the need arise. We are thankful that they are around.

    Drain repair

We were delighted with the work done by Drainworks. The estimating was clear and concise, they arrived on the job when they said they would, they completed the work within the estimated time they cleaned up after the job in a very satisfactory and professional manner. Since the repair work has been done we have had a few significant rainstorms and everything seems to be in very good order. The direction of this job by Mike was exemplary. Leon King

    Replace leaky laundry faucets

We had a leaky laundry faucet. Our plumber from Drainworks replaced the entire faucet assembly to the wash basin and installed new laundry taps. He was very professional and did excellent work. He also gave us some good tips. Overall, we were very satisfied.

    Video inspection

Called Drainworks in to inspect clogged drain line in the basement. Service technician was prompt, clean, polite and very helpful. Technician found the problem that was an easy fix, rootered out a small clog of material. We could have spent a lot more without knowing what the real problem was. Thanks Drainworks!

    Unplug toilet

Matt Achcinski from Drainworks was excellent. I would recommend this company again. He unplugged the toilets and provide us a recommendation to use CLR. He was on time, right at 9 am and was clean, friendly and he informed us about prices before he proceeded to the next steps. Would recommend this company again. Thanks, Peter B.

    sewer pipe routed

In 2 years we had 2 sewage back-ups. First one company cleared it to the city line$179. Then the city cleared the next one $350. Then we received an ad for free video with a pipe clean out from Drainworks. They came and Matthew talked to us about the problems with tree roots etc. We have decided to have it cleared every year as a precaution as at the present there are only small fissures in the pipeline that allow hair like roots to grow.Matthew just completed the clear out last month. He is knowledgeable and respectful of our floors. We will ask for him again next Fall to clear out the pipe. It is reasuring to have this kind of dependable service available.

    Pipe and drain replacement

My basement drain had begun to overflow- causing a terrible odour throughout my house! We had just completed an expensive waterproofing job and this was the last thing we needed. I called Drainworks first thing Monday morning and by noon a representative had been sent out. Frank Casciaro was conscientious and took the time to explain every detail of the job that needed to be done. As my husband was out of town and I was completing the repair while taking care of my 5 year old on my own, I appreciated his professionalism and courtesy. After the job was completed, they sent someone to clean up the area- they left it clean and dust-free. I would recommend Drainworks (and Frank) to anyone needing a repair.

    Bathroom Tap Reinstallation

I had a simple job - to remove two bathroom facucets and sinks from an existing counter and reinstall in a new counter. I had the first part done at the bargain(?) price of $269 befor tax for approximately 1 hours work. He took them out and made a big production about the hair in the traps. Quote to reinstall was $488 (before tax)even though taps were already assembled. No flexibility in price - they are preset. Had it done by another plumber for $100. Net is Drainworks is professional, but comes with attidtude and high cost.

    Answer from pro:

H.in Oakville - let's remember that you made an appointment and agreed to our $69 assessment fee for one of our plumbers to come to your home. Once there, we gave you a price to disconnect and remove 2 sinks and 2 faucets for $200 which you agreed to and we completed the task. Further to that you requested pricing for additional work to be done at a future date - which you were given. The way in which DrainWorks conducts business is that we give our clients the option to proceed or not to proceed with quoted work - up front. You decide. What would have been better to do in your case? Do the work and then give you the cost owed and then negotiate? Most people would agree that giving an up front price and an option to proceed/ not to proceed is the right way to do business. Lastly, wondering why your $100 plumber wasn't there originally to do the first part of the work - nevermind the second part which you claim.
