    Replacement of clay pipes and outside trap and bre

    Jeremy and Armando and their team from Drainworks, were efficient and considerate in explaining the problem and the most viable solution. Their work crews were respectful and experienced in conducting very difficult not so pleasant work. I had some sewage line problems and they snaked the problem and found that it was more serious and advised me that the outside trap and breather and the clay pipes would have to be replaced for pvc. They advised me that the root problem if on the city line would offer me some relief for this costly operation, and promptly took care of calling the city inspector and sorting out the paper work. Their state of the art camera inspection and report is a definite asset. At the same time my neighbor got to see that he had a problem too, so ended having the work done, which helped share my cost to replace the concrete that had to be broken through. I have no hesitation in recommending Drainworks to anyone who has this issue, and would definitely call them again should the need arise. However, i question the industry practise of never providing a warranty on snaking. Also i feel that if snaking is done and further problems are diagnosed and the client goes with the same operator, i think it would be great if that money or a portion of that money could be applied to the larger job. This is no knock on Drainworks, but an industry practise that could be called into question.

In order to fully understand why an honest and transparent company cannot provide a warranty on a cleaning its important to understand the nature of a snaking. Snaking is not a repair. It's just like getting a haircut or washing your car. Inevitably your car will get dirty again and your hair will grow back. This is exactly the same with your drain line. It will get dirty again and the roots will grow back. Where the issue of the cost of service comes up, I'm always eager to take the opportunity to remind people we stand alone in the industry. Our plumbers are salary based, rather than commission based which means our costing structure is set and transparent. Our staff are not enticed to sell you servies you don’t need just to get a big commission. Often our competitors like to create the false illusion that a customer is getting something for free by waiving charges however, they are simply tagged back on again to the excavation work. DrainWorks prides itself on being honest and transparent. We therefore do not engage in those types of practices. Thank you.

    basement backup

    We would highly recommend drainworks for all plumbing requirements, basement leaks, back-ups. The job they did for us was outstanding, hassle free, reasonably priced, efficient, knowledgeable, and clean up was great, nothing for us to do.

    Replacing Sewer Lines in the home

    DrainWorks as a company was courteous, professional, and was excellent in giving us an informed choice about what needed to be done with the sewers in our house. Earlier this year, we had another company come in and do a substantial amount of work in our home. The other day we noticed that one of the repaired sewers of our home was giving off a foul odour. The same day, DrainWorks had their technicians out to analyze the problem and show us what would be required to correct the problem properly and offered a fair price to do this work. Over the next two days, DrainWorks sent in their digging crews to work on our home. They where here when they said they would and where done when they said they would be. DrainWorks then sent out a technician to follow-up, examine the sewers with us, and made sure that everything was up to our satisfaction. We're very happy with the service that DrainWorks has provided from start to finish and after having another company earlier this year do work for us can clearly see the difference in professional, complete service. Thank you DrainWorks.

    Problem with drain fliesthus drain reinstalled

    After dealing with fumigators for months who could not find the source of the drain flies, in frustration I called Drainworks. Within minutes they quickly identified the source of the problem. They immediately quoted a price and came the next day. They escavated the drain and reinstalled a new one within a few hours. They worked cleanly and efficiently. Thank you Armando,Eugene, Luke and the rest of the boys for a job well done. I should have called earlier for my sanity. Jeannie

    Replacing P trap

    From beginning to end, Lou, Eugene and the rest of the crew were nothing but first class. It was a dirty job, but the basement floor looked cleaner after they left then when they came in. I appreciated the was they blanketed the room like a doctor does to a patient prior to doing surgery, only exposing the dig area. Great communincation, quality, performance and end result. Thanks.

    Replacing outside breather and existing pipe.

    I can't say enough about how great our experience with DrainWorks was. Armando treated me with respect, and explained what work needed to be done and why. And was happy to take more time to go over everything when my husband arrived home. The crew arrived exactily when we were told to expect them. On two increadibly hot days, they all worked harder then I can imagine I would want to! They men that did the work were wonderful about cleaning up the area in our garden when the job was done, and we were albe to replace our plants right away. Mike followed up by coming back with the drain camera to inspect the work, made sure we were happy and was patient enough to answer any other questions that we had. As far as price goes, DrainWorks was the leader in that area, but as I told Armando, it was how they treated us, especially me, that won our business. Would I reccomend or use DrainWorks again? In a heart beat!! Thanks again guys for a great job wonderful experience.

    Drain replacement/roots

    Eight months ago my main drain was not draining quickly enough and I had some backup into the basement. Frank Casciaro of Drainworks cleaned out the roots and suggested additional work of replacing old clay tiles with PVC piping from the house to the city line. I didn't proceed with it at that time. A week ago on a Friday morning it happened again and I was due to leave for vacation the next day. I called Drainworks and John Paul was the first person I spoke to and he was very professional and helpful and understood my dilemma and pulled up the previous quote from 8 months ago. John Paul was able to arrange for a crew to come out that day. A more extensive replacement was recommended and they complete it on the Saturday. The unfortunate part was that it meant that they would have to dig up a garden that had been landscaped the previous summer. They were reluctant to replant my shrubs but they said ok because I would not be around to replant and the shrubs would die as a result. When I got back a week later I was expecting a bit of a mess and was very pleasantly surprised how well everything looked including the garden. Armando came out the next day for me to sign off on the work and he took the time to show me the camera view of the drain work that had been done. He also did a camera inspection going back into the house. He was very thorough and wanted to make sure that I was satisfied. By my rating, I am completely. Thanks.

    Kitchen Drain not flowing.

    Matt was the plumbing technician that arrived in an hour of the call. He was very professional and courteous. The area was examined and planned out. He layed a clean blanket over the area and snaked out the drains which was way down to the main. Matt took his time to explain the causes and ways to avoid this from occuring again. He cleaned up the area and clearly explained the costs. We will provide your business cards to our family and will take to our new home. Matt, you are a true professional, thanks for A terrific job done well!

    Upgrade of drain pipes and water service

    I just wish there was a company like Drainworks for each trade. The efficiency, quality, professionalism of the crew was something I had never seen before. I can't assess their pricing but given how good the overall experience was I'd be suprised if they were not honest people pricing fairly.

    Drain Replacement Plumbing Fixes

    We began using Drainworks when we needed to have our drains replaced. Jeremy Harris was the technician and he explained everything very clearly, was extremely professional, and offered a very quick turnaround for the job. The crew was very efficient, left the job site in perfect condition, and the customer service department really facilitated the refund from the city. Subsequent to this, we joined the Diamond Club/Perfect Plumbing Club and have used Drainworks for several plumbing related issues. The technicians are always polite and capable, but most importantly, they are always on-time and the job is done right. There are cheaper providers but Drainworks represents good value for the money, and I'm ok paying a little more for the peace of mind.
