    Clogged basement drain

    I have used Drain Works before and always found them to be on time, professional and courteous. Fully explained everything upfront. No hidden costs or surprises. Matt was great. The end!

    Drain scoper and snaked

    Drainworks did a great job showing me a video of the pipes, he even showed up early on very last minute notice and Jeremy did a great job explaining everything to me as he went through the process.

    clog in drains

    We have roots in our main drain. Jeremy came in listened and assessed the situation told us the cost up front. He was professional and engaged. Jeremy was very mindful of our surroundings and at the end got the job done.

    Drain replacement and upgrade

    Mike was over here on Monday and did a thorough diagnosis on the drains and gave me a deatiled action plan with all the costs to fix my sewer back up problem. Today Mike and his team came over and delivered on that action plan. The real beauty of the work is that the job was done successfully,efficiently and with minimal collateral damage. I felt Mike was technically very savvy and was excellent at explaining the drain issues in layman's terms. The Drainworks folks were a pleasure to deal with.

    Drain blockage

    Called DrainWorks at 11:30 am and requested for them to come out after 6 pm. Jeremy arrived at 7 pm and put a camera down the basement drain and highlighted the issue that cause our basement flood. He gave us two options - replace sewer line (well over $1000) or do a snake ($100). We told him to snake the sewer line and he was done within 30 minutes. He was very organized and methodical - even about how he put away his tools at the end of job. He even had a portable VISA machine to accept the payment. He was courteous, patient and a good communicator.

    Basement Ruff-In for complete bathroom

    We agonized over installing a bathroom in the basement for many years. We anticipated complications, a big expense, and at the mercy of some unscrupulous plumber. Our son has grown and the bathroom project came up again, only this time it became a necessity. We looked around for a reputable plumbing company and decided to give “DrainWorks” the opportunity to quote. They sent a representative and he arrived when he said he would, a good start in my books. They did a scan of the current plumbing pipes and then explained fully what had to be done for the new installation. A quote was drawn up indicating what the total job would cost and guaranteed it would not be a case of extra expense once the job was started. They gave a start date for the job and arrived on that day ready to get the job done. They worked all day and when complete all the plumbing was laid out according to specifications and at a cost indicated in the quote. It was nice dealing with a company that stands by their quote.

    basement drain replacement

    After a record rainfall in Toronto on a Sunday evening, our aging basement drain failed filling our basement with approxiamtely 6 inches of rainwater. Once the floodwaters had receeded we called Drainworks that night based on a recommendation from our neighbour. To our surprise Armando & Eric were able to come to our house at 10:00pm that same night to assess our problem. After determining that our basement drain had completely failed, they sent in their crew Mishi and Sergei the next morning to immediately replace the basement drain. Once that job was completed Armando returned to snake and camera our entire drain system. They were able to show us on their tv monitor that there was also an outside portion of our pipes that had been damaged years earlier by roots from a tree that was no longer on our property. Although replacing the outside portion of our train doubled the cost of the job they were able to also bring in the city inspector that day to verify that the outside portion was damaged by roots which qualified us for a city rebate that paid for the outside portion they fixed. The next day, Jeremy from Drainworks arrived to inspect all the work answer any other concerns we had to our satisfaction and walk us through their guarantees and payment process. All of the work done both inside and out was done with extreme care and they left our outside garden / lawn area in better shape that when they found it. Since buying our house 4 years ago we have had numberous renovation type jobs (both major and minor) done and I don't think we have dealt with a company as organized and professional as Drainworks. As I was on a business trip at the time my wife was left to deal with this issue. To her relief she felt 100% comfortable in dealing with Drainworks. We both felt we were getting excellent advice and better than market value for the work that they did. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone with drain or plumbing issues and will be calling them again when we begin our basement renovations later in the year. Thanks Drainworks for being there when we needed you. You saved the day for sure!

    Installed double cleanout and removed building trap

    Thanks to one of the crews at Drainworks I will always know what is going on with my homes drainage system. The crew came in and got down and dirty. Within a 24 hour period they were able to install a double cleanout and replace an 8 foot section in my basement removing the original building trap. They worked hard, efficient and clean leaving things exactly the way it was. Will continue to use and promote the company.

    Drain unclogging

    Mark from Drainworks was friendly and informative. He explained to us in detail what the problem with our drain was and laid out the options for fixing it. He took care of the problem quickly and left our home with no mess. The price was fair and we were very happy with the quality of service. Drainworks lived up to its reputation for us.

    hose bib

    Called Drainworks and they came over on time and quoted the work quickly and clearly. Work was completed on the spot. Plumber was polite and cleaned up after himself. Overall, very pleased.
