    replacing storm trap, sanitary pipes

    We called after the storm on Sunday night - someone was here within an hour, and work done on time, on budget, within 48 hours. We were very pleased with both the work, and their high level of professionalism. Happy to recommend Drainworks!

    replace clay sanitary pipe from home to street

    This company was very professional, from the fellow who responded to our emergency call and identified the problem, through the crew chief of the team that replaced the clay sewage pipe with new plastic pipe to the fellow who performed the final inspection and jetwash of the full waste system under the house. They let us know what to expect every step of the way and provided regular feedback. They worked to our schedule as much as possible. Job went very smoothly with minimal fuss and DrainWorks left the job site clean. This is actually the second house we have needed to do this repair to. When we recognized the problem, our one and only call was to DrainWorks. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

    Drain replacement

    Drainworks helped us replace the main drains of our house, which were clay pipe and infiltrated with roots. They were efficient and seemed knowledgeable. They also took the time to do a good clean-up afterwards. Not cheap, but we were satisfied with their work.

    unclog drain and repair pipe

    First the response time was very fast and on a Sunday to boot,less than 40 min.. Started work clearing drain and doing a camera inspection which I got to see the condition of the drain and everything was explained to Me with this visual aid as reference. DrainWorks had been to My house a year ago and when the service rep showed up He remembered the situation with the drain which was satisfying . You felt there is someone who is interested in His work. The workers were very professional and the only complaint is We lost an $50.00 bush to the digging of the drain. Sincerely L.Mac Donald

    basement drainage

    Recently had to replace our basement drainage pipes due to improper plumbing. Armondo and his team we very accomodating: arrived promptly and provided fast and professional service. Would definitely use these guys again.

    kitchen faucet, garage tap, 4 restroom toilets replaced

    We moved into our home in 2008 Oct. The home is about 6 years old. All four toilets needed to be flushed 2 times (at least) in order to remove waste. This was an unfortunate surprise, thanks to cheap, garbage builder toilets! When you have guests, it is a terrible embarrassment. Imagine if the Queen of England was coming to my home and I informed her " don't forget to flush the toilet 2x!" In additon, the garage tap was leaking and the ensuite washroom sink had a pipe leaking water below the sink. I Perused homestars and drainworks had great reviews. Called immediately. A plumber was available to come the same day, as luck would have it. Phil, the plumber was truly exceptional. He promptly assessed the areas that needed to be fixed. I really wanted something to be done about the toilets. Essentially without a better toilet, the waste removal problem would persist. In the end, I decided to replace all 4 toilets in the home at the same time. Phil recommended a better model, the american standard cadet 3 and I trusted his expert advice. It would be costly, however I believe drainworks has a fair system in pricing. .The toilets would be ordered . It might take a week or more I was told. In the meantime, Phil replaced the garage tap, replaced the pipe below ensuite sink and happened to find a leak in the kitchen faucet incidentally, so we picked out a new faucet (from the handy selection in the truck). He replaced the kitchen faucet the same day too. It only took about 3 days for the new toilets to arrive. Very fast service Phil came back and installed all 4 toilets. Phil said it would take some time. Maybe 5 hours. Phil came at 8:00 on the day of the installation and started removing the old cheap builder toilets. The gentlemen delivering the new toilets were delayed about an hour, which sometimes can happen due to unforseen circumstance.I was getting antsy, however Phil was reassuring and when they did come, he finished the job in less than 4 hours. He was still ahead of schedule even with the small delay. After he left, I noticed that the toilets had less water level in the toilet bowl. I was very concerned as I didn't think to ask him at the time about this and was surprised. I called drainworks and had them ask Phil to call me. He called me and explained about this newer model having a lower water level in the bowl (conserving water). I was pretty concerned and let my concerns be known to him. He was respectful and patient with me on the phone. The water level could not be changed. I informed him that I was surprised not to know that the water level would be so low compared to my other "cheap toilets" prior to purchase,however we went over so many things, and to be fair, you cannot go over every single concern prior to purchase. I still trusted his expertise, however in the back of my mind, I was thinking , the low level of water would not remove the waste effectively. In the end, we ended the conversation, with the hope that our family could adjust with time. I was still a little uneasy HOWEVER I AM PLEASED TO SAY THAT THESE TOILETS FLUSH GREAT! Phil truly knew what was best and did his best to help me choose a great model of toilet within my price range. I have to give Phil "PROPS". He is knowledgeable in his field and I HOPE THAT PHIL WILL BE CONVEYED MY SINCEREST THANKS for the service he provided. I give drainworks and PHIL a 10/10. thank you

    Sewer line replacement

    After three emergency sewer backup calls in four years, I felt it was time to do a video inspection of the sewer pipe to see if replacement was required. I got some quotes, and chose DrainWorks to do the work, as they seemed to be the most interested and thorough in their inspection of the problem. They explained the options to me, started the work when they said they would, did great work on site, and did an inspection the day after the work was done. They were very professional, and understand the value of good customer service and relationships. It was a pleasure having them on site, and I would recommend them to anyone.

    drain work

    We've used Drainworks before and they were the first company we chose to call this time when we had trouble with a drain blockage. As usual they were prompt, courteous and professional. We called at 8.00pm and they were thereby 10.00pm and had the problem fixed an hour later. Jeremy the technician was thorough and and polite. No hesitation in recommending Drainworks for your plumbing needs.

    clear out plugged bathroom shower drain

    We've had to call plumbers a few times to clean out bathroom drains (daughters and wife with very long, thick hair is a recipe for disaster). The 1st 2 outfits did OK work but were very expensive for an after hours/weekend call. Didn't clean up after themselves all that well either. The folks at Drainworks were very professional on the phone, knew exactly where their guys were, gave me a reasonable window for showing up and actually showed up when they said they would and called an hour prior to confirm arrangements. The rate was reasonbale too at about 20% less than the previous guy. The guys came in a marked van, were pleasant and friendly and went about getting the job done as soon as they arrived. They cleaned up after themsleves too. Not just tossing the hair into the garbage bin but wiping the tile, the drain cover and removing soap grunge from the inside of the drain. Like I said, these guys are good.

    Basement Drain Backup

    We had used Drainworks in 2004 for a basement drain back-up, and when it happened again a couple weeks ago I knew who to call! Armando was very professional, helpful, and informative. The work consisted of an initial camera inspection, followed by the decision to replace the trap & breather due to tree roots. The following week the excavation crew came and worked extremely hard the whole day. They tarped the area they worked in, cleaned up well and were very respectful of our space. Armando came back the next day for a final inspection and snaking, and this removed most of the roots causing the problem. Armando also informed us about the city of Toronto drain grant process, which was a big help. I felt confident being in their hands. I'd highly recommend Drainworks for fast, friendly service.
