    Outsourced Customer Service

    It is incredibly apparent to me that not only does Dyson Canada outsource their customer service to areas outside of Canada but their agents are incapable of actioning the fundamentals of customer service. In brief, it took me 5 separate attempts with 5 separate agents to arrange a simple return. Every return ticket provided had my mailing address as both the SENDING and RECEIVING address. Please do not consider purchasing from Dyson and if you do, don't do it online. Find a store. Save yourself the headache.

    Service

    Before heading out to Mississauga (an hour's drive away) I called the Dyson phone number and was told the part needed was in stock and available. When I reached customer service I was told that they do not sell parts and that I should have brought in the whole stick vacuum cleaner. After patiently listening and understanding my predicament, Cat, the service rep., with kindness and courtesy went and obtained the part knowing that a return trip would be difficult for my husband and myself both seniors. Due to the misunderstandings, the roller was complimentary. Thank you Cat. We appreciate your kindness.

    Never received my order

    My experience with Dyson has been absolutely dreadful. I never received my package, and the customer service I received was beyond disrespectful. They had the audacity to call me a fraud and claimed it wasn't their problem. Instead of offering assistance, they told me to contact the cops or the carrier. When I asked to speak to a manager, they flat out refused and hung up on me. I've also sent multiple emails to their customer service, but they never bothered to reply. This has been the worst company and customer service experience I've ever had.

    Price (non) match

    Bought 2 heater fans and next day another major distributor had the same product on sale for 20% less. Contacted Dyson customer service and, after an extended process, was informed that this qualified for price match and I should see refund on credit card within 12-14 days. After 2 weeks I got back on chat and, again after a long wait, was confirmed that refund was pending and I would hear from them within 24-48 hours. After 3 days I got on chat again and, after over an hour waiting and back and forth, was finally told that they had decided that this did not qualify for a refund. Of course sale at other company is long over. If you like Dyson products, do not buy directly from the company. They do not honour their price match policy.

    Warranty Service

    We own the V10 Animal; excellent machine but recently the large collection bin broke and the machine is still within 2 yr warranty. Spent a considerable amount of time and information with a chat rep 2 weeks ago and was told 5-8 business days for replacement part to be available (we'll send you an email)... 10 business days later still no email... 2nd chat session just finished and had to repeat and resend pictures even though I was told this info was saved to file last time. This time there is no timeline on the part; just it will be in at some point, wait for email. I bet I'm back on chat in 30 days. Escalated the chat (well told the rep spoke with supervisor) and offered a refurbished machine as a replacement. We do not want a used replacement... when we spent $700 on the new machine we expected a machine that would work well past the 2 yr warranty; and if not proper warranty as expected by customers... We just want the part not somebodies previous returns... or replace the machine with a new one. $700 is a lot of money to many ppl...

    Great product but you can't get parts!!!!

    They make a great product and as a result I purchased my third Hand held cleaner the V15. However, this time the Motor bar head failed. Obviously they made an inferior product because I have been trying to purchase a new Motor Bar head and it's been out of stock for THREE MONTHS!!! I'm in Canada and just called the Canadian help line only to be routed to some foreign country. There the gentleman was very polite and told me how he understands my frustration, be patient etc....I hung up. I need results so I can use the cleaner I paid for, not a Mother to Coddle me. I think the Company has lost site of who they are. No one should have to wait three months for a replacement part!

    Dyson 12” fan

    Dyson refuse to replace my fan that totally stop working after warranty is over by about 5 month , those fan are close to 400$ and I think it should last longer then a little over 2 years at those crazy price , they offer to give me 30% off a new one which would still cost me in the 300$ or more and thats a big no ,Im very disappointed in Dyson as we have many dyson product and never hade issue like that I will never recommend Dyson or buy another one

    Don't buy a Dyson Hair Product

    Purchased Dyson Corrale two years ago. Warranty is over and my machine is broken - no longer holds the charge. Company tells me there is nothing they can do. REALLY???? A $700 hair straightener and they won't replace it???? Save your money! Don't buy this appliance!

    Brutal Customer Service

    Price Reviewed Jan. 21, 2024 I have used Dyson for 6 years. I reached out in May and then in Oct with a stick vacuum still under warranty. To summarize, they sent me parts that did not fix the issue, they asked me to send my faulty vacuum , so they could send me a refurbished one. I sent mine Nov 26, have reached out 6 times on chats and have not received one back . Brutal experience. Please note if this is rectified I will take this review down, BUT know they do not VALUE their customers. The most disappointing consumer experience ever. They charge a premium, and do not stand behind their word.

    Poor Customer Service

    Subject: Extremely Disappointed with Dyson Canada's Service I recently purchased a Dyson vacuum for over $1400, hoping for a high-quality product and top-notch customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but satisfactory. The vacuum, which I returned due to performance issuesspecifically, water leaking on the floor when using the submarine mop headhas turned into a nightmare. Dyson claims they never received the return at their warehouse, rendering me ineligible for a refund. This is despite providing evidence, including a DoorBird camera picture showing the item being picked up from my doorstep. For the past three months, I've been caught in a frustrating cycle of calls with Dyson's customer service, each lasting over 2 or 3 hours. Their responses have consistently been, "We got your return; it's in the inspection process. Once completed, we'll proceed with your refund." Now, they conveniently state that they didn't receive my return, contradicting the evidence I've provided. This level of poor customer service is unacceptable for a company of Dyson's stature. I feel utterly disappointed and frustrated with the lack of resolution despite my efforts and cooperation. The way they've treated a customer who spent a significant amount is beyond disheartening. I want to caution potential customers to be vigilant when dealing with Dyson. Keep extensive proof of your orders and returnsconsider video recordings during the handover to Dyson courier services, noting the pickup person's name and requesting photo identification. My intention is to share this honest feedback to spare others from encountering similar problems in the future. In summary, my experience with Dyson Canada has been a regrettable waste of $1400, and I sincerely hope others don't have to go through the same ordeal. Unsatisfied Customer, Rinku Singh
