Contact with us was made in the alloted time frame and the timer switch installation/programmimg proceeded smoothly and efficiently. As a courtesy the rep checked the panel box to ensure that all connections were tight.

We had an insurance required inspection done and then the repairs made at a later date. The inspection was very thorough and well explained in simple terms which made it easy to understand. The total spent for both was $1800.00 in two visits. Mike was very prompt and showed up when promised both times. He was professional, friendly and respectful of our home, even wearing the blue booties. Thank you Expert Electric, we will not hesitate to call you for our next project.

I chose Expert based on their high rating on Homestars. I was not disappointed - the company responded right away and sent an electician on the day I requested. A small job (swapping out a bedroom light fixture and fixing a ceiling pocket light in the kitchen) took 2 hours. Although I was very impressed with the service and the work done, it was expensive. In fact, I told the electrician that his 2 hours of work cost me more than I earn in a day... On the positive side, the electrician gave me a free estimate and I chose to have the work done despite the cost.

We hired Expert Electric to install an 240 V outlet in our garage. They came to look at the site and quoted us a price of $2000. We were surprised, because there was already a 240 line available in the circuit box. The electrician literally just had to drop a line about a meter and install the outlet. The electrician assured my husband it was more complicated than that and was a job that would require 6 hours. We pointed out that there was no plumbing or HVAC in the wall. Still we were told it would take 6 hours. At this point we should have called another company for a quote, but Sam was very insistant/reassuring. Suffice it to say, it actually took less than 3 hours the following day to complete the job. There was no adjustment to the bill. Sam claimed he had just been "super efficient." When we contacted the company via email, we got a form letter back. Clearly, this is not the first time they have had this situation. We followed up by phone and the owner was extremely rude and belligerent. I would strongly recommend against hiring this company. We never will again.

They did a great job! They were quick and efficient at moving the electrical socket for the new chandelier and went above and beyond to make sure it was working properly.

Mike and his assistant were very thorough; worked quietly with respect for house occupants. Explained throughout project(s) what he was doing, was very polite throughout, answered questions. At the conclusion he reviewed all that was done and did not leave any mess.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Expert Electric. From the office to the electrician Mike, service was prompt, professional,very courteous, & non-stressful. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Expert Electric.

The two electricians who did this work were very helpful and explained everything that needed to be done. They worked practically non stop and worked well past quitting time. They wore the covers over their shoes to keep the floors clean and cleaned up everything and took away garbage at the end of the day. They came back when the Inspector came to do the final inspection and showed us how the new main breaker worked and labelled all switches. We are very satisfied with Expert Electric. We found the service technicians very friendly and courteous. The workmanship was excellent. The technicians were mindful of their work area and in fact used protective covering before they began work. We will definitely be using Expert Electrical for future repairs. Jag Punn

We had to solve the problem of the continuously tripping breaker so the serviceman could complete the annual furnace tune-up and service. Froilan and Gilbert were competent, thorough and willing to explain the mechanics of the electrical problems, the range of solutions and the probable cost. Although the the problem was the breaker, Froilan observed I had both an outdated hardwired smoke alarm and a new battery operated smoke alarm. He suggested renewing the hardwired alarm instead of using the battery operated one. The previous electrician recommended purchasing a battery operated smoke alarm if I did not want the expense of hard wiring. In hindsight, neither the first electrician nor I noticed the alarm on the ceiling. They took the time to explain the problem and the possible solutions. Often repairmen are unwilling or unable to communicate. I would use Expert Electric again, ask specifically for Froilan and would recommend this company to friends.
