    Lighting

    We've always used Expert Electric for jobs around the condo. Bradley does an amazing job, he's friendly, clean, punctual and fast. He's usually available the day after the first call to come and look at the issue and make a quote and then his availability is always pretty good for the actual job (within a week after). Plus having someone come in on a Saturday or Sunday is great! No need to take the day off work! I highly recommend them!

    All work is scheduled and handled quickly and follow up is great.

    Expert Electric makes it easy from start to finish. You call and a real live person answers the phone and wants to provide you with service. When the job is complete they follow up with a live phone call to ensure you are satisfied. I finally found an electrical company that I can work with that meets my companies needs. Will use the again.

    600 ft Basement needed to be Brought to Code and failed!

    hired Expert Electric to preform and inspection, and to get our basement suite up to code, as per the letter received from the City of Maple Ridge. On December 22, 2015, a technician from Expert Electric came into our home to complete a full inspection of all electrical components of the basement suite, to ensure everything was up to code, as well as to install the required wired smoke alarm system, and bathroom ceiling fan. Upon "completion" of the job, it was discovered that the ceiling in the bathroom of the basement suite had many large holes cut into it, as well as a duct hanging exposed from the ceiling. All work was not completed, causing failure of the re-inspection of the suite, which occurred on January 11, 2016. We paid an extra $99.97 to be an "Expert Electric Member" which includes additional safety on existing electrical in the home. As the suite failed the inspection, it is apparent that this service was not provided as promised.

We always try to communicate required cutting of drywall before any work takes place. We always do our best to minimize access holes cut into drywall in order to minimize drywall repair and also facilitate installation of systems into the walls. Often time’s drywall repair is required after trades perform work that requires access to the inside of walls as was your case, again we apologize if there was any miscommunication of this requirement in your case. Regarding repair of your pre-existing electrical systems installed by others at city electrical inspector’s request. We cannot be responsible for poor workmanship caused by others, If there are any areas where the city electrical inspector feels additional work is required of your pre-installed electrical systems install by others that is above and beyond the repairs of existing deficiencies we have already carried out for you we would be more than happy to provide an additional estimate and perform any additional repairs requested by the electrical inspector and call for re-inspection in order to satisfy any additional electrical inspector requests.     Electrical output

    The service was awesome. The guy was helpful but unfortunately one of my products wasn't working but he gave adequate information on why it wasn't working. So he was very calm and helpful.

    great service

    We called, they came, they fixed the problem. We have booked again to have other work done. They gave estimates, options and full explanations. We would highly recommend this company.

    Lighting

    Had 1 dual switch light placed on a timer. Had one bathroom fan placed on a timer. Had one dual switch overhead light placed on a dimmer. Price included the dimmer switch.

    Bathroom Exhaust Fans & More

    I was relieved to call and have the office staff answer immediately. Often with other businesses, you just get a voicemail. An appointment was booked within 3 business days (as it wasn't urgent). The electrician came out to assess what was needed, explained to me what was involved and since a full day was necessary, the appointment was made for the end of the week. The job was done efficiently and I was grateful to know that I had the best , quiet exhaust fans in my bathrooms. Another household member had neglected to tell me their bathroom exhaust fan hadn't worked for a year. I'm glad to get rid of the excess moisture and I'm happy that the fans automatically come on as needed.

    Electrical work

    Our living room dimmer light switch ceased to function. I once more phoned Expert Electric. The electrician arrived the following day and replaced the old switch for a new one. Having finished his job, he completed an electrical survey of our place, including our smoke detector fixture. Made some observations and recommendations. Very thorough and satisfactory service. He even wore a plastic shoe cover to protect our flooring. If this is not good service, I do not know what is.

    Receptacle and thermostat replacements

    Was quoted for $440 worth of work. The guy started and half way through said he got a text and had to go to another site. Charged me for half and left. What kind of business is this? Called in and spoke to a "manager" who passed the blame on the electrician and said there was nothing he could do except book another time. Had I known he did not have the time to do the full job I would have gone with another company to do the entire job instead of now having to book and spend another day to finish.

    Electric Cooktop Wired Up

    If you ever need an electric cooktop wired up, I would recommend you call Expert Electric. They provided me with courtesy; the installation was very professional; and the service was prompt; for example I called them at 10:30, the electrician arrived at 12:30 and finished at 1:30, great job.
