    Refrigerator

    Our fridge unexpectedly gave up on us. Gord at Faulkner's was fantastic. He took lots of time and at no time did I feel rushed or pressured to buy and/or make a decision, and we were only buying a fridge. Gord was very honest with us on delivery expectations and actually ended up delivering it a few days earlier than expected. We bought a Samsung, which so far we're very happy with. I would, without hesitation return in future and I would recommend them to all my friends and family. On top of the fantastic service, we saved a significant amount of money compared to the big box stores, plus their a local independent business. It was a win, win, win for me. The delivery guys were great too, very professional.

    dishwasher

    There's something really nice about dealing with a 'mom & pop' store over the big box ones. The service was great, they handled our questions without feeling like we were wasting their time, and it's nice to give your business to the guy in the neighbourhood. Next time we need an appliance we'll definitely go to Faulkner again.

    full set of appliances

    We purchased a full set of appliances and were very pleased with the service and products. If you go to their store make sure to go into the basement where the "scratch and dent" items are located as there are some GREAT deals on new appliances that are not really "damaged" but are merely discontinued models or have some very minor cosmetic damage.

    appliance

    I purchased appliances from Gord at faulkner appl. on several occasions and have always been extremely happy with the product, service,price. I have to say shopping there is a pleasure,i have also recommended friends family and business associates. I also like Faulkners because they are family based and run and care about the cust. you also get the attention and service as if they are part of your (family) something you can never get in shopping at a big box store... i have dealt with them on a personal and business level and they are the best...would not shop anywhere else...luv them ... hope they are around forever

    Gas range

    Bought a Blue Star range, excellent customer service and expert advice. Gord Faulkner was low key and knowledgeable, zero sales pressure, but good support. Bob Khan delivered and installed (he's also a gas-fitter) and was superb.

    Refrigerator purchase

    Recently completed the purchase of a Samsung 4-door counter-depth refrigerator and was treated to some stunning service and professionalism from the guys at Faulkner. Not only do these guys have brands that they stand behind as being reliable; and prices that are extremely competitive; they have professionals like Faouzi taking the time to explain our options and features and yet gave us space to make our own decisions. Interestingly, on our drive in to Faulkner's we found one of the big box stores offering a promo pricing that seemed too good to be true. Faulkner's obviously beat the price hands down; but while invoicing on the agreed price it was found that the other store actually had a higher price (it was a mistake on our part that we didn't go through the fine print in detail)... Not only did Faouzi and Bob not want to dwell on it, they simply did not want to go back on re-negotiating the agreed price... an act of good faith and professionalism that we value very highly. Delivery was exactly as promised, on time and efficient. It's hard for us to ever consider a store other than Faulkner's for our needs.

    Frontload Washer & Dryer Sale

    We purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from Faulkner's recently. The washer, unfortunately, was DOA (water leaking out the front door of the washer). We had to go through Samsung's bureaucratic process to get a technician out, to us demanding a replacement given how long it was taking. Unfortunately Faulkner's hands were tied mainly because of Samsung's asinine policies around returns. The Faulkner's team stuck with us through the process. Samsung authorized the return, but said it would take 2 to 4 weeks to process, and that was already on top of the two weeks wasted due to the repair folks sent by Samsung (not Faulkner). Faulkner's helped us through each step going to bat for us with their Samsung rep to get the okay to get it returned sooner than the 2 to 4 weeks Samsung was saying. The sales process was great - the team were accommodating and setup the units correctly. They were professional and a joy to deal with. I would totally recommend Faulkner's!

    Washer/ dryer set

    Needed a washer dryer set after our 2001 Kenmore washer started leaking and was deemed unfixable. Bought a matching set from Faulkners in January this year. Met Gord in person at the store. Very straight and knew his product info. cold. We were limited in that we needed a gas dryer (previous dryer was gas and when we re-modeled the basement we did not run a 220V line to the new spot where we had relocated the appliances). Faulkners deals primarily with Samsung, few other brands. This was OK for us because Samsung washers and dryers are top rated (along with LG) by Consumer Reports in this category. Later, closing the deal with Fauzi on the phone was quick and easy. They delivered well ahead of the date they committed to. I needed a gas tech to disconnect the old dryer and connect the new one. They put me in touch with their person Bob, who was very good (had to make two visits, one to disconnect, one to connect, but was very reasonable. Also had him do some re-routing of the gas line, which had not been laid properly by Sears all those years ago). Delivery personnel were good. Only issue was they would not take their shoes off (said they could not because they were moving heavy equipment). I get that, but it would have been nice if they had been carrying those slip on boot covers that I've seen other delivery people carry and slip on over their shoes. Delivery was on a rain-and-snow day, and as a result I still have muddy footprints on my basement carpet, despite their best attempts to clean their shoes before going downstairs. But for that would have been a 5/5.

    Dryer Purchase

    This is a bit of a different review, but hopefully it conveys the excellent customer service that I received. My contractor forgot to tell me the voltage in our dryer closet and I ordered the wrong dryer from Faulkners. I only found out after the dryer was delivered (which arrived exactly on time as promised). When I tried to return the dryer, Gord's service was A+. He made returning the dryer much easier than I have ever faced as a cutomer. Needless to say, if I ever need appliances again I would definitely call Faulkners because their response during a time of adversity was a great exercise in building trust. Thank you!

    Stove, Fridge and range hood

    Purchased a Samsung Induction stove and a large (28 cubic foot) Samsung French Door / Bottom Freezer fridge. Faouzi took his time with us, showed our options and there was zero pressure. Delivery was on-time, and the guys were courteous, professional and did a great job. Induction is relatively new tech to North America, and I had done lot's of research, enough to know that I needed the extended warranty. Sure enough, the stove had major problems the first morning we used it. My wife cooks for 3 hours every morning and reliability is key. While we could have asked for it to be repaired, we were sufficiently scared off the technology to switch to a flat-top radiant model. Faouzi was most understanding and exchanged the stove with another Samsung product, even matching the price. Customer service is one of the reason's I chose to do business with Faulkner's and I'm so glad I did. Better yet, their prices are several hundred dollars less than a nationwide retailer. I would highly recommend Faouzi, Gord and the rest of the team to all. Faouzi thanks for making it right!
