    Gas fireplace fix

    Scott Lathe the technician did an outstanding job. He was well versed in the type of fireplace we had. Scott also told us immediately the part we needed and had the part in his car. I would rate him a 10 out of 10! Very efficient employee who knows his stuff.

    pool heater and gas fireplace repairs

    Thankfully my brother recommended Gas Fix. I wish we had known about this excellent company sooner. From making the initial contact, setting up the appointment, service visit in two days, to the billing everything, went very smoothly. The technician was thorough, very knowledgeable, honest, courteous, and made my day :) The two repairs were cost effective -- much better than previous 'technician' from a different company quoted. We are very happy with the end result and would not hesitate to refer or call back Gas Fix in the future. THANK YOU JOE.

    Pool Heater Service Repair0

    Absolutely first rate operation. Had a minor issue with a leaky PVC pipe leading to my pool heater. Office staff was called and they set up an appointment that was convenient for me. Technician Joe came out the very next day and remedied the problem in no time. He was very professional, knowledgeable and engaging to deal with. I have used Gasfix in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

    Fireplace Repair

    Our aging fireplace fan abruptly stopped working at my parents house last Winter. Arranging an appointment with Gasfix was very friendly & accommodating. When I came back to visit my parents, they were really praising how knowledgeable, professional, & friendly Joe (our service technician) was. Apparently a certain part in our 20+ year old fireplace needed replacing, and it was the last model that was ever produced. Joe actually had a compatible part in his van! Which is actually mind-blowing considering that he carries all these diverse parts with him all the time. The fireplace was cleaned out and inspected thoroughly, and Joe actually taught us things we hadn't known about our unit - all of which was very enlightening. As a first time customer i'm impressed, I will definitely call upon these guys again.

    Pool Heater Install

    My older pool heater need replaced and I called Gasfix to do the install. They were able to come immediately and found I needed a custom order part made. The got this done quickly and came back and did a perfect install. The entire experience was on time and professional. I have used this company for over 10 years and would not let anyone else do my gas line work for me. They are the best and they show up when they tell you they are coming.

    Pool Heater

    Problem: water leak. I called GasFix on Thurs afternoon and a technician (Dwayne) arr. 0830 Fri. as scheduled. After inspection/diagnosis (leak was from badly corroded heat exchanger which in turn had damaged the firebrick and burners) it was agreed to replace the heater. Dwayne called his office to check availability of stock and schedule for installation and proceeded to prepare an estimate. In the meantime I checked pricing and reviews on line. The GasFix price for the new heater was the best price. CharlesW+BryanF arr. at 1030 same day to install the new heater and the unit was operational by 1230. All 3 technicians did the important things very well, but the small things made all of the difference. For example, they built a small barrier behind the heater to prevent my neighbours soil from spilling under the fence into our yard, and possibly under the heater, and even painted the rusty gas supply line from ground up. One of the techs. actually wrote the model no., serial no., and the date of installation on the manual, which is something I usually (have to) do myself. All work was completed with improvements to ensure the whole installation was brought up to code. Awesome service; great price; 1st class technicians. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

    service pool heater

    we have used GasFix several times for our pool heater and gas fireplace. Their technicians are on time, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I might be able to find someone cheaper but cheaper does not always end up being cheaper and I speak from personal experience. Joe had the part we needed with him which is huge that I did not have to be home or off work for a second service call once the issue was diagnosed.That alone saves me time and money! Joe also explained exactly why this part failed and how long I should expect this heater to last before needing replacement. When asked, he also recommended a brand of heater that has fewer issues in repairs when this one needs replacing.

    Gas Lines Installation

    I would not only recommend Gasfix Repair without any hesitation, but with kudos to them. Make a very long story short after about 4 hours getting nowhere; I had been phoning trying to get some information regarding installation for a gas line. You would think Enbridge would have been the primary source of help. Forget about it, other than paying your bills. So when I was just about to give up, making my last call (it was actually after 5pm) the owner Scott picked up the phone. Within 15 minutes he knew exactly what I wanted and told me the price and never tried to pressure me into anything more than what I asked for. He provided what is nowadays only hoped for - quality, service, making suggestions, answering questions, ensuring that I get what "I" wanted! He gave a price (loved the quote at the first sound), a time, and honoured it fully. Wait it gets better. The servicemen show up on-time and get right at it. Asked where I wanted the outlets, can I cut here, is this okay, made great suggestions, first class. Then without ever even mentioning it, they took the newly delivered gas stove out of the box , took off all the packaging, hooked it up, tested it, and showed me how to use it safely. The actual job ended at a higher amount by over $100 of estimated. Gasfix Repair ate the difference, without so much as a blink. Ok if I go on anymore I will sound like a "plant" or a "stooge". I'm done.

    repair old majestic fireplace

    I refused to use the same company for repairs after they gave me an infraction tag first and then only stated they have the parts available to fix it. I phoned Gas Fix and Dwayne came out the same day to fix all problems and my old fireplace is up and running and it was done within my budget ,according to all safety specifications. I will not hesitate to recommend them. They are professional from the word go, punctual, up front about cost and will definitely be the go to company for any gas related problems, be it fireplace or pool heater.
