    Gas fireplace repair

    Excellent job, very prompt and great cleanup. The fireplace is just like new. Gasfix scheduled the appointment and then called ahead to say they were twenty five minutes out. Very professional in every way. Joe took the time to explain all the work that was done.

    Gas hookups and Garage heater

    GasFix arrived on time and did a well thought out installation in a friendly manner. I have already recommended GasFix to others. I will use them when required in the future.

    disconnect gas line

    Your service tech arrived on time and completed the task required in a very timely manner. We also received valuable information from your service tech with respect to how the gas fireplace had been installed initially.

    Gas Line relocation

    Dwayne from Gas Fix was great. He arrived on time and took his time to assess the current gas line location and determine a solution. Even though our house was completely chaotic, he maintained a friendly and professional outlook, moved our line with a minimum of fuss and helped us figure out our new stove. Thank you so much Dwayne! We have had Gas Fix out before to work on our pool heater - similar experience. Gas Fix is great.

    Fireplace repair

    Dwayne Hamilton of Gasfix arrived promptly, was courteous and polite. The work to be done was service 2 fireplaces and diagnose why 1 would not ignite. The work was done professional manner. Dwayne took his boots off while inside my house and used a blanket in the work area. Dwayne did a thorough inspection and cleaning of both fireplaces. I cannot praise his work enough. A true professional.

    Thank you for having Gas Fix service your Kingsman and Instaflame fireplaces. The resistance on the ON/OFF switch was high which indicated it required replacement. We had that switch on the vehicle for the repair to get the Kingsman unit working properly again. Please note that the Instaflame unit will require a Mercury Flame Switch conversion at some point in the future. Some contractors may tell you that you need a new unit but we have the parts on our vehicle for such a repair. Again, thank you for choosing Gas Fix! ~ Jason ~

    repair pilot light, fan, etc.

    My service man , Dwayne, explained what he was doing as he took my fireplace apart and pointed out the problem. I had expected it would cost about $1000.00 as it was a very old model and I was pleasantly surprised that my "gizmo" just needed a bit of cleaning as the accumulated dust was very thick and causing my fireplace to not function at it's best. Dwayne laid a rug down so as not to make a mess and he was courteous and thorough. He also told me not to turn off my pilot as the fireplace unit works best if it is kept on throughout the year. He was professional and I will continue using "GasFix" repair because I trust them and have always been more then happy with their service over the last 25 years. They are No. 1 in my book !     The "gizmo" that needed a bit of cleaning was the Mercury Flame Switch. This is brittle, fragile component on your Instaflame fireplace that is now an obsolete part. Once that fails, the conversion is a new gas valve and a new pilot assembly, which we always have on our vehicle. Thank you for being a Gas Fix customer the last 25 years.     Napoleon Firplace

    Our First experience was excellent the serviceman was knowledgeable pleasant and explained as he worked and cleaned and tested the unit. It looks like new. I would highly recommend. . /Larry

    gas fireplace cleaning and maintenance

    Prompt, thorough and friendly service. Unfortunately I didn't ask the technician's name! Husband thought bill was a little pricey. Fireplace looks amazing though! I would use this company again and recommend it to others.

    Thank you, Vera, for your review. Many contractors will use inexperienced technicians that go in at a much cheaper rate who light the pilot and clean the glass calling that a safe fireplace. Gas Fix invests in manufacturer's training and we invest in a huge selection of parts and our staff are top notch service technicians. Knowledgeable, experienced staff are an asset and do cost more. Technicians like Dwayne, who serviced your Drolet Ultra Flame, has over 20+ years experience with gas fireplaces. Many technicians may not be familiar with a 15+ year old Drolet fireplace but our technicians are. Aside from vacuuming the unit, we also use an air compressor to get to those places the vacuum can't get. With any fireplace we touch, we always check the safety on the gas valve, we always do a draft test on the ventilation and we always do a carbon monoxide test. We also check the electrical components, as required, and can pinpoint issues with a fireplace as opposed to "swapping" parts till something works. Experience is our difference and we have been solving gas fireplace problems since 1982. We do offer better value and as noted, your fireplace looks amazing! ~ Jason ~

    safety check and maintenance

    I now feel so relieved to know that I can ask for Jeff Da Costa to come when our fireplace needs to be serviced and safety checked. He was efficient, clean, knowledgeable and friendly.

    Gas Fireplace Repair

    I have had a non-working gas fireplace for years. We had others come in and they told us we needed a new one (and tried to sell us one) I came across Gasfix on line and thought I would give them a try. Dwayne and Brian came out and did an amazing job! I now have a working fireplace for a fraction of what a new one would cost. They cleaned it up nicely too including that stubborn glass dirt. Quick reliable friendly service! Thank you

We field many phone calls where another contractor wants to sell you a new fireplace as opposed to repairing an existing model. It may be they don't have the parts on their vehicle or don't know how to replace a gas valve. Our technicians carry approximately 15 different gas valves on the vehicle and know how to install them.
