I purchased a new gas fireplace insert & it did not work properly right from the start. The original problem was a faulty part covered by warranty, but the unit was still not operational. Scott subsequently saved the day! My appointment was quick and Scott was punctual. He was professional, friendly, and had a wealth of knowledge. His expert trouble-shooting identified a problem with the original installation by the store that sold me the insert. As I had experienced other problems with the store, I did not wish to deal with them, but rather entrust the matter to Scott. He was able to obtain and replace the proper mechanism (that should have been done during installation) the same day. I could not be more pleased with the service provided by Scott, and I am relieved that my fireplace is now safe and functioning. I will continue to utilize the expertise of Scott and his company from this point forward.

This is only the second time I have required repairs to this fireplace in 25 years. Both times GasFix has been my go-to repair company. Both times they responded quickly. Their ability to troubleshoot the issue and effect repairs in a quick manner astounded me. Scott, Dwayne and his partner today were clean, efficient, knowledgeable and very personable. Thanks guys.

It was a challenge to find a qualified person to come and service the 3 fireplaces we have in the house we recently moved into. I found Gasfix and Jeff arrived today and was able to get all of the fireplaces up and working. I was very impressed with his knowledge and problem solving abilities. I will definitely have them back to do yearly servicing on the fireplaces.

Punctual, very thorough in their work. Everything that was being done was clearly explained. Great value for the price, excellent service and I won't hesitate to use them again next year.

The bearing was gone in my fan and the on/off toggle switch needed replacing. This was accomplished speedily with no mess and the fireplace has never been so quiet, switch works perfectly now. Thank you gasfix.

I called to have my gas fireplace inspected before the Winter season started. Very pleased Scott was able to set up an appointment same day, which worked out perfect for me. I was given an approximate time Joe would arrive at my home and he actually called me to say he was about 20 mins. away, within the timeline I was given, which was greatly appreciated. As with the other service technicians, Joe immediately took his time to cover my flooring with blankets and began to do the tests on the fireplace. He explained everything in complete detail what he was doing and why, and answered my questions as well. Joe was very courteous and did the job in a professional manner. He made sure everything was in perfect running order before leaving. Joe also explained the importance of having gas fireplaces inspected/serviced each year in order to be aware of any potential issue that may arise. I would definitely recommend this company again. Customer service was outstanding and the price point was quite reasonable, giving me peace of mind for another season of comfort in my home.

We moved into a house where almost nothing worked properly, including the fireplace. We asked Gas Fix Repair to have a look at hoping against hope that we wouldn't have to replace it (like every other appliance in the house). They were great. They arrived promptly, and were prepared! Within a couple of hours, they had it repaired at a fraction of the cost of having to buy and install a new one. These guys obviously know what they're doing, and they do it! I'd use them again.

If you look at the cost of this work it only includes the purchase and installation of a wall heater, which replaced the old Valor fireplace they came to clean and instead shut down for safety issues (which no other company even mentioned to us when they came for mtce). Scott tried for a week to find the part issued by the company in a recall many years ago, but to no avail. We are, however, more than happy with our new wall heater and with the installation. As for the Mtce of our other fireplace and furnace ... topnotch .. Joe checked far more things than any other company we've hired to do it, at a comparable price, letting us know what he was doing, why and what the readings were. All who work for this company are certified, competent and friendly. An all round wonderful experience. We'll be calling them every year for maintenance.
