I hired them for a routine furnace tune-up. One of their technicians came over and started doing the job. As he explained to me later, after completing the tune-up he had fired up the furnace to make sure that everything was operating properly. At the start-up there had been a backfire which was a red flag. He took a CO (carbon monoxide) reading at one of the registers upstairs. There was 10 ppm CO there indicating an unsafe condition. He concluded that the furnace’s heat exchanger was cracked, letting the flue gases enter the house, but it could not be visually confirmed without taking out all components. He said that they could get a new heat exchanger from the manufacturer for free under warranty conditions. Next day he replaced the heat exchanger. Guess what! There was a big crack on the old heat exchanger! I really enjoyed how well he knew his stuff. The charge for labour was quite fair and we are so grateful that he saved us from dangerous results of CO poisoning.

Last February when I woke up I realized that my house was cooler than usual. After a trip to the basement I noticed my Furnace was not working,so I opened the Yellow Pages book and started looking at the cooling & heating companies. But all I was getting was a voice mail telling me to leave a message or people that were telling me that they will come and check my furnace in the next couple of days or that they will charge me double. Than finally I noticed Heating Plus advertising . After a short conversation with Paul I was told that he will send a Technician in an hour. And within 45 minutes he was at my door. He quickly checked the Furnace and an hour later my house was warm again, thanks to great Heating Plus service!

I recently got a high efficiency furnace installed in my home by Heating Plus. Their technicians worked with due diligence. I was quite happy with the installation. I recommend this heating and air conditioning company to anyone who would like a heating and gas applaince installed in their home.

He provided us lots of information about the old furnace we had and the calculation of the heat loss and the comparison of different new furnace. And we were very satisfed the one with very reasonable price, we had chosen which would save lots of money both now and in the future. It was July/07 long weekend, my husband and I had just moved into our new home, it was sooooo hot, we called Paul, he made arrangements to come in that same weekend and install the air conditioner.
