It started out as a DIY project to re-insulate my garage walls. After gutting the garage all walls and ceiling taken down and old insulation removed, I had a much better overall view of my project plus the attic space above the main part of the house. There was only about 1/2inch of very old blown insulation which was packed down and the old batt insulation had been destroyed by rodents in the past. So based on this I decided the whole thing needs new insulation. Since I watch all the home reno shows on TV the only company I knew I was going to call was Insta-Insulation. If they are good enough for Brian and Mike that's all I need to know, I did not even bother to look anyone else up.
So, I called and and made arrangements for a quote. Trevor came out to see the project, we discussed options he made recommendations and we came to an agreement. Spray foam all the garage walls including the inside of the roof, Spray foam on the attic deck and all walls in the attic space, he suggested that I also put up a wall to separate the attic space of the house and the garage, this too would be spray foamed then blown insulation on top in the attic space above the living area. Awesome!
I got the call to book the job, it was done in 3 stages over 3 days, removal of old blown, Spray foam and then Blown.
All crews arrived on time each day and were very friendly and efficient. I had many questions and no matter who I asked they were able to provide a clear and concise answer. The spray foam took pretty much the whole day but it was done well and they took time to mask anything that should not be sprayed (doors, Windows etc)
Overall I am extremely satisfied with the work completed and will use them again to complete the other attic space of my home that needs the old removed and new insulation added.
