    Winter and Summer Review (Attic insulation)

    Writing this review about a year after the service was provided to provide a fair assessment. Purchased a five-year-old house and everything looked great, R-40 in the attic, vapor barrier and sealed pot lights. Unfortunately, although everything looked good, the comfort level in the house was not acceptable as the second floor was too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. Summer results – Second floor used to be somewhere between 3 and 5 degrees warmer than the ground floor and I would hit a thermal layer as I walked up the stairs (I have air conditioning). I was running an array of fans to keep the newborn baby’s room at an acceptable temperature. Now the temperature difference is less than 0.5 degrees. Winter results – No more ice damming or 3 foot icicles dangling above the side door/ baby stroller entrance. No longer need to run any extra heaters or electric blanket. Customer service was excellent. I was skeptical and I wasn’t going to just use them just because Mike Holmes using them. I still got four quotes for the job, read everything on the internet and asked lots of questions.. I’m a fairly handy guy having finished a few basements myself. Jeremy was the only rep that could answer all my questions. Service was performed over 3 days, old insulation removal, spray foam, new blow in insulation on top of spray foam. Crews showed up early each day, left everything clean. Would I use them again? Yes, I’ll be calling them to do a shed.

    Barn Insulation

    Good price. Clean and fast job. If possible, we would use Insta-Insulation again. We were very happy with professionalism of the gentlemen and the care to keep the job site clean. Thanks.

    Attic Suck Out and Spray Foam Install

    I live in a 800sq.ft East York bungalow with an unventilated hip roof (there are four roof vents but no soffit to let air in). I contracted InstaInsulation to vacuum out the vermiculite and blown-in insulation (which I had flattened every time I went in the attic to replace wiring; route speaker wire; install lights; etc. and thus lost all R value) and then apply spray foam to the rafters. During our consultation Jeremy S. from Insta recommended that when I have my roof shingles replaced I should ask the roofers to remove the four vents and close off the holes. I promptly received a reasonable estimate for both jobs and as soon as my roof was replaced Jeremy had the scheduler contact me to arrange the dates. Since the job was scheduled for a Saturday I was concerned my job would be done by their B-team. The crew that came was on time, competent and efficient. As a picky consumer I was quite pleased with the outcome of both jobs. Thanks Insta-Insulation!

    Attic Insulation

    Crew was 10min early then scheduled 8am which is great for us. Crew able to identify the leak area for us to take action after the insulation with other vendor. Without it, we will never climb up to attic to see what's going on. Crew lay out the clean ground sheet in order for the blown pipe to be ran from its truck to the Attic without dirty our carpet. Covered our hang clothes that was left on the bed to avoid dust without us telling them to.

    Garage Ceiling and Ducting

    The bedroom above the garage was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It is now going to be warmer and cooler in the proper seasons thanks to a insta-Insulation. The ductwork going up to the bedroom and the ceiling /floor joists were spray foamed efficiently and professionally. Best Regards Leave It To Beevor Contracting

    Basement Spray Foam Insulation

    Great communication from the quote to the installation. Fair price. Showed up on time and completed a great job as promised and left the house clean. Would definitely recommend insta insulation to anyone and will definitely use them again for any spray foam installation needs

    Great Service

    I had Insta, remove vermiculite, completely re insulate my attic and do some spray foam work for me during major renovation. The service was great during that project. As things always, happen, I had a leak this past winter and was worried about the insulation in the attic. When I reached out to my Insta adviser, Jason, about what it would cost to inspect the insulation, he offered to come over at no charge. Thankfully nothing was damaged during the leak, but after sales service such as that shows the true color of a company. Thanks Insta!!!!

    Wow, a company that actually provides customer service.

    I'm not an easy client to deal with. I ask a lot of questions and take my time before committing to spend 5k on a project. Out of the countless companies I called, Bruce Jackson of Insta-Insulation was the only rep happy to take the time to answer my questions. He came to my house twice before the project. Even more impressive is that he came after the project was completed (after payment was made). I find that very few companies actually focus on creating a good customer experience. That is why I decided to create an account on this site and write this review. I should also mention that the finished product was amazing. However, it was the customer service that was truly exceptional.

    Home Insulation

    Absolutely best value. 60 year old house, no vapor barrier 20 pot lights, always winter ice dams. Removed old insulation, booted the pots, sprayed the plaster, vented all soffits, upgraded attic vents, fixed bathroom exhausts, fixed faulty plumbing vents, and blew in new cellulose insulation. No more ice dams, no more damp drywall in bathrooms, quieter, winter/warmer, summer/cooler house. Highly recommended - this review is written 9 months after the job, because i wanted to see it through a winter before what I expected to be a glowing review and I was not disappointed.

    Insulation On New Custom Home

    While building our new home my wife and I met many contractors. We highly recommend Alex and his team for all your insulation needs. They are professional, prompt, clean and extremely knowledgeable. They ensure the job is done right. Insta-Insulation was responsible for spray foaming all the wall cavities on each floor(basement, main and second). The floor joist ends. Full blown in cellulose for the attic. They were very thorough on how they applied all the accoustic seal and the poly with the batts on the tray ceilings ensuring that it was done correctly. The temperature is very consistent throughout the whole house. The spray foam is definitely worth the extra cost. We have the same energy bills as our old bungalow which was half the size.
