    Mould Removal & Insulation Replacement in Attic

    I greatly appreciate the work done by Trevor, Jamie, Judy, Dave, and Chris. Trevor was thorough and quick with his feedback on the work needed to be done on my house. The coordination with the mould services removal team was seamless. All the crews arrived early, completed the work efficiently, and left the place tidy. Dave and Chris even went the extra mile to help patch a hole in the ceiling drywall that was damaged by accident from another contractor. I highly recommend these crews.

    attic insulation

    Crystal C was very patient with letting me wait to book my appointment and sent me reminders when necessary. Jeremy S was thorough with his inspection, Andrew was accommodating with the install date & time, Brynley & John were kind, courteous and very professional.     Family room spray foamed

    Attic insulation top-up

    Chris & John arrived and explained what they were going to do. They clearly demonstrated pride in their work. Chris installed baffles in the first half of the visit. While they were out for a brief break, I stuck my head up in the attic and was amazed at the air circulation. I know that this is a good thing, but as I'd had a look around the week prior, I was surprised at the incredible difference in temperature and freshness of the air. They finished the job and I took another look. They were careful to take care of a couple of concerns that I had mentioned. They did the job politely, quickly, and thoroughly. Since then, we've had a few warmer days, and the effect on the upper floor of the house has been quite noticeable. We're looking forward to a much more comfortable summer this year! We have referred Insta-Insulation to a relative who is now interested in having an attic top-up done.

    Great service

    I contacted Insta-Insulation after discovering only 4-5" (R18?) of blown-in cellulose insulation in my attic. Trevor inspected my attic and gave me an estimate to upgrade my insulation to R50 levels. He noted that the builder also failed to adequately ventilate the attic. His estimate included baffles in every rafter bay. Baffles prevent the insulation from blocking the soffit vents -- and allows air to circulate within the attic. A few days prior to the install date, I received a reminder email which also included preparation tips (e.g. if the attic hatch is in the closet, clear its contents). The installation crew called me 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Dave and Chris were professional and courteous. They also allowed me to take a peek at what they were doing in the attic. The process from start-to-finish was about 2 hours. Insta-Insulation offers competitive pricing and great service. I highly recommend them.

    Attic insulation upgrade

    Highly recommend. We and a few neighbours had our attic insulation upgraded. Insta did an excellent job. They have excellent customer service, a pleasure to work with. Accommodating with dates.

    Attic insulation removal and replacement

    We hired Insta-Insulation to suck out our blown fiberglass insulation from our attic and to reinstall rafter baffles and blown cellulose. Our sales rep/consultant Jason S was very thorough, informative and reachable. The team that removed our insulation was great and the team that came to replace our insulation was also great. I don't have any complaints and would recommend Insta-Insulation to anyone needing insulation services.

    Easy process!

    I needed to have some renovations done before my next home energy audit. Insta-Insulation quickly responded to my request for a quote. I was able to have the quote and date set for the process done within a matter of days! Today, J.R., Chris, and Dave came out to the do the work! They were friendly, professional, and efficient.     Great Job

    After finding an attic full of mould, I spoke to Trevor at the Home Show in Ancaster and called him the following week. He promptly came out, assessed the situation and provided me with an explanation of what would need to be done along with costing on the job. After I accepted the proposal, I was called immediately to set up a time for the work to be done - which was within a week. The first crew arrived as scheduled to remove all the old insulation. They worked diligently and when they finished there was no sign that they had even been here. The mould removal was assigned to a different company, Advanced Mould Solutions. They came on the second day and looked after the mould problem and treated the wood so that the mould would not return. Then on day 3 another crew from Insta Insulation came and replaced the insulation to a value of R50, as well as adding ventilation to the attic. Once again they were on time and completed the job with no mess, leaving everything as it was. Any questions I had along the way were answered by all three crews. The house has seemed warmer since the task was completed but with temperatures outside going up I will have to wait to see how this affects my heating and cooling. Most importantly, I feel safer knowing that the attic is no longer full of mould. I would certainly recommend Insta Insulation.
