    Hot Water Boiler

    I walked in off the street on the morning of 24/Dec/14 to J. Kelly's office during the ice storm concerned about my boiler and the possibility of burst pipes due to the increasingly freezing cold. I was not a customer of J. Kelly at the time. Even though they were extremely busy with numerous service calls due to the wide-spread power outages, Neil was extremely gracious, and spent 15-20 minutes with me demonstrating (using their boiler in the basement) exactly how to drain all the water should it become necessary. Fortunately for me, local power was restored in time - but it was very close (the temperature in the house hovered just above freezing when the lights came on). This fall it was necessary to replace my boiler (it was clear to me that it had been living on borrowed time). Because of the customer service I received the previous winter and the reputation I knew their organization to have in the neighbourhood, I did not solicit competing quotes for a new boiler. When they installed the new unit, it was professionally done, and the service technicians were extremely patient with the interminable number of questions I asked about how the entire system functioned. I highly recommend J. Kelly to anyone needing heating and/or cooling services.

    Furnace repair

    Called Joe in the summer for a quote to replace our air condiontioner. He said I only needed it serviced despite two other places saying I needed it replaced. Our air conditioner work perfect all summer. Called Kelly's heating in the fall for a furnace quote and they were very reasonable. The job was as quoted and everything was done to my expectations. These are my guys going forward!! Honest, fair prices, and good work.

    Furnace

    We had a serious issue w our old furnace (that was not ever worked on by J. Kelly's), that wound up needing immediate replacement. We wound up speaking with Neil at J. Kelly's Heating and Air Conditioning, who despite being very busy went above and beyond to promptly help us. It was a tremendous relief to speak with someone who was so knowledgeable, and even took the time to walk us through the whole process as well. With the installation of the great new furnace, also provided information and tips that taught us a lot. He gave us a wide range of options and pricing, explaining differences. We learned a lot along the way. We are happy, safe & sound, and warm as a result. We will use J. Kelly's regularly and would reccomend J. Kelly's to everyone- honest, very thorough, and incredibly knowledgeable.

    Furnace

    Last week my furnace was not working. I have 2 young children so it was very important that the issue was dealt with quickly. I looked on homestars and came across Kelly's heating. They came out that night and the issue was resolved before bedtime. I was very happy with the service provided and would recommend this company to others.

    replaced furnace

    Best quote among those I got. Recommended to me and I would do same. Prompt service. Came on time and finished in one day. Clean and polite. Furnace works great.

    Heating System Service

    My heat stopped working on a cold day a few weeks ago. I called J Kelly's heating, a contractor I had used previously for servicing my heating and air conditioning. They were quick to respond, diagnose the problem and quickly fix it. They did so in a professional and courteous manner and were up front about what was required and the cost to repair. I would definitely recommend J Kelly's Heating.

    Heating system

    From the office staff, to the site workers, J. Kelly's Heating staff were courteous, extremely knowledgeable and always professional. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, and as a Real Estate Agent, I'm excited to have a new, reliable industry contact.

    Servicing of bolier

    Hired them to come in and regular service a boiler / air handler. Was working before. After servicing had issue, they came back and 'fixed it'. When tried to turn on heat after that it would not work. They came back and said the blower motor is now broken. Seems coincidental since it was working fine before. But they offered no break, charged me full maintenance service visit amount as well as full cost for new motor. Not impressed with that.

    New Furnace Installation

    Overall, VERY happy with their work. Neil and Joe were very professional and nice to deal with. Crew was punctual (as I happened to be home when the work was being done) and they took the time to explain what was being done as they went along. I would HIGHLY reccomend Kelly's.

    Low Water Cut-off and cleaning

    Joe and Neil Kelly were very helpful and concerned for my problem, which was the sound of rushing water inside my upstairs wall whenever the heat pump cycled on. It sounded like a fast flowing river was inside the wall, which is not near a radiators. Joe and Neil worked to find the reason for this, which turned out to be air trapped in an ancient heating pipe which was long-ago closed off inside the wall when a radiator was removed (prior to my owning the house). It never made a sound until last month when it started bubbling and gurgling constantly. It was not the newly formed river I feared had set up inside my wall. Joe Kelly explained everything clearly to me, and not to worry. They sent Justin and Vas, two very capable technicians, to sort out the problem by flushing the system and refilling the boiler with water, and do a complete maintenance cleaning and checked the entire heating system including hood draft and PSI setting. At the same time, Justin and Vas installed a Low Water Cut-off on my boiler (pre-arranged) to protect my system in case of a leak: the boiler will not continue to fire with no water in the system -- called "dry firing", which could be catastrophic. They left my house clean and spotless. They answered professionally and patiently every question I asked them -- and I asked a lot of questions! They were good humoured and friendly and respectful of my house and kept it tidy. I feel assured knowing I can call them anytime I have a heating problem. They responded quickly and efficiently. I couldn't be happier with Kelly's.
