The Dormer over my 3rd floor master bathroom was invaded by raccoons. The racoons had gained entry by destroying aluminum soffit on one side of the Dormer. Once the raccoons were removed, I called Juffs and they responded vey quickly. They sent Arthur to assess the suituation and do the repair, He was very pleasant to deal with and went out of his way to match the colour as close as possible to the original and did the installation in such a way as to prevent the animals from being able to open it up again. He also inspected the main roof and replaced a missing shingle and caulked a few other onse that had been pulled loose. Very pleased with the work and professionalism.

Juff's attention to the leakage situation was extremely professional. courteous and honest! The attention to detail was great! Will definitely use this company again should the situation arise. Thanks Michael

We woke on a Saturday in early April after two solid days of rain to find that the ceiling in our master bedroom closet had huge water stains on it with the light fixture filled like a fish bowl. I tried first to call three other supposidly reputable roofing companies with no success. One out of the three called me back after an hour only to tell me that they would only come if water was pouring in which it wasn't. The leak was bad enough however that we didn't want to chance waiting two full days without having it addressed or looked at by a professional. Then I remembered the Homestars webpage and saw that Juff's had many rave reviews particularly in the area of emergency repairs so I called them next. They should have been my first call. To my amazement Mike called me back within 10 minutes and said they could have one of their guys swing by within the hour to have a look and make any necessary repairs. True to his word, Arthur arrived, and made the minor repairs to stop the leaking. Not only that but he took digital photos of the problem AND inspected the rest of the roof to make sure there were no more issues which he said there weren't. Juff's acted and did the work you wish all contractors did - quickly, professionaly and with no b.s. We will use them again for for our gutter replacement this spring and for any future roofing issues that arise. Thanks Juff's!

Like a lot of roofs, our roof had heavy ice dam buildup during the last snow storm. When the weather got warm, we found water coming into our newly renovated dining room. As you can imagine, it's hard to take. So I called up Steve one morning and Steve promised he would get one of his crew to come by that day. True to his work, his crew came by around 2 in the afternoon. He assess the problem and got to work. He first cleared off all the ice, then he may some suggestions to fix the roof so that the next time, the water will not be able to travel back into the house. Everything was done is an hour and a half. Very professional and clean. Now just need to wait til the next big storm :)

I had holes in my roof as a result of animal damage due to squirrels. I called Juffs and was immediately impressed with the knowledgeable, professional advice I received from Michael. He offered a cost effective solution and explained the process to me. The repair person arrived on time, was friendly and courteous and even showed me before and after pictures which I really appreciated and gave me peace of mind. I was very happy that they were able to solve my problem in such a quick, efficient and professional manner. I would highly recommend Juffs Roofing.

The night before we were leaving for a weeks vacation, I noticed that the ceiling in our bedroom was wet again. We had a serious problem last year and we thought that it had been resolved by re-roofing the valley between our dormer windows and installing ice-shield. We called Steve as we were heading out the door the next morning and before our plane had landed at our destination, he had a crew at our house, removed the snow build-up and emailed a photo to us. Thank you so much! And we really did get to enjoy our vacation.

We needed a roof repair after a wind storm damaged some roof shingles. I contacted 5 companies to estimate. Only Juff's came through like they wanted the job - charged a reasonable rate that not only fixed the issue but also checked the entire roof for loose shingles, needed caulking etc. I definitely recommend having them quote your job.

I contacted Juff's Roofing because of significant ice damming on the roof of my employer's home. A company I contacted 5 days previously had indicated they would remove the ice within 48 hours but 5 days later they had not arrived and did not return 2 days' worth of phone calls. With the lost time, the ice situation had worsened dramatically. This concerned me greatly because 2 years ago a similar situation resulted in water leaking inside the house. Michael was thorough and professional in his approach, outlining what needed to be done, the likely cost to do it, and promising that the crew would arrive the following day to remove the ice. I'll admit I doubted those words when "the following day" presented horrible conditions (a blizzard with blowing and drifting snow) but indeed the hardy crew DID show up and Michael as well as Shane were in touch with me throughout providing updates by email and by cell phone as ice was removed. Access to the location was difficult as there was easily 2-1/2 feet of snow in the area where they would need to set a ladder, the distance between houses is narrow in that area, the roof was covered in ice and snow, and the weather conditions were horrible. Despite all of that, they worked diligently to remove the ice. I then made an appointment with Steve who went up into the attic to identify (and photograph) the various issues that had led to such a serious icing situation. He was prompt and thorough and professional in identifying the problems, optimal solutions, and the cost. We now have an appointment for remediation of the issues in the attic that has led to 3 consecutive years of ice problems with this house. Based on my experience to date, I have no doubt that the issue will be resolved by the work we have scheduled. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Juff's Roofing.

Had an ice dam on roof which leaked into living room. Spoke to Michael who explained the process, the cost and the approximate time his workers would arrive (and they arrived as stated). Shane and Adam were wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly. They fixed my problem and I have since met with Steve who explained everything in detail and what needs to be done to solve our problem. I would have no problem recommending them to others.

I had a small leak due to an ice dam. I called Juffs Roofing and spoke with Michael who clearly explained what his crew was going to do, how long it would take and how much it was going to cost. The crew cleared the ice dam and the section of roof that had a lot of snow accumulated on it. They cleaned up the job site well and Bob the foreman provided suggestions on preventing the ice dam to build up again. He also informed me that upon his inspection that a portion of my roof is worn and will need attention in the Spring. As a contractor myself, I really appreciated the fact that in all aspects of the experience, Juffs Roofing and its staff were very professional, effective and courteous.
