I called Juffs to take a look at my roof. 3 of the 4 sides were in terrible shape. The only side that wasn't was the side that Juffs had done some 8 years earlier to fix a leak on the original roof which was just 6 years old. I had 4 quotes done and Juffs was competitive. What impressed me was that Juffs quote was the most complete detailed of all the quotes. Steve was very impressive in terms of his knowledge and his ability to explain the situation. The crew at Juffs came did the job, replaced the rotted plywood and cleaned up the site thoroughly which is extremely important if you have young kids like I do. And by the way, the side that Juffs repaired those many years ago, well, all the other companies told me that the roof had 10+ years left on it. Juffs also followed up promptly with warranty documents and customer service surveys. Real professional service.

In 2000, we really thought we needed a full blown roof replacement. We called 3 roofers, including the "Enbridge-approved" contractor, who came to inspect and provide an estimate. The "Enbridge-approved" contractor did not even get up on the roof to do a proper inspection. One of the others did - one didn't. All were quick to agree that we needed a new roof: approx. cost $4-5K. A good friend at work insisted that I call Juffs Roofing before we made any commitment. I did, and was I ever glad that I did. I was fortunate that the owner, Mike Juff, carried out the very detailed inspection - he and I both went up on the roof where he took digital photos and showed me some areas that needed attention. He clearly stated that we did NOT need a new roof, but rather a "tune-up" at a fraction of the cost. He even made both of us go into the attic to check out the roof timber. I was so impressed with his candor that I promised whenever we DID need a new roof, that I would call no one else. I have just called Steve at Juffs for another inspection - 8 YEARS LATER!!! So, Mike was certainly correct that we did not need a new roof in 2000!!

Juff's Roofing redid our roof in September of 2007 to our great satisfaction. We had contacted six reputable Toronto roofing companies and researched the materials, the techniques and the customer feedback on them. What we really appreciated was the thorough manner in which Steve dealt with our questions and explained the various choices we had. We agreed on a roof, its substructure, soffits and troughs. The removal of the old shingles brought to light several areas where the previous roofers had botched the job and which needed repair. Juff's team did a great job of removing everything old, installing a waterproof barrier followed by properly spaced shingles. We had poor rain drainage from the roof previously and the addition of LeafDefier in the troughs really seems to have made the drainage more controlled. I no longer have to climb to the roof to clean the troughs every fall. The violent winds of the past winter undid part of the soffit fascia - Juffs sent someone to carry out the repairs. In July, Toronto broke a 20-year record of rainfall for the summer and through it all, our new roof and troughs performed very well. Highly recommended.

Juffs just completed a new roof on my large bungalow and it looks great! I got quite a few estimates and they were the only contractor who provided a thorough quote which included metal drip edge, Deck-Armor, and very nice CertainTeed shingles. They will explain to you how a roof should properly be done (they will even show you a roofing manual) and then they do it. They also identified and fixed poor ventilation and deck problems with my roof. Working with them was an enjoyable experience. Everyone that I spoke to in the company from the sales guy, to the office lady, and the roofing crew was a pleasure to deal with. You definitely get the impression that this company takes great pride in their adherence to doing things right. If you’re looking for a roofing company that will provide you with quality materials and workmanship, do yourself a favour and call Juffs Roofing.

Juffs Roofing did an excellent job! They were very approachable, reliable, punctual and thorough. We were very happy with the results and two and a half years later, when we called for a quick and small touch-up, Steve and co. were at our door within 2 hours! Steve remembered all the details of the original job. Great and friendly service!

After reporting a leak from my flat roof into our living room at Christmas to Juff's, Steve Meltz arranged for emergency repairs within 2 days, even under trying snow and ice conditions. After analyzing the root cause, Steve came up with a detailed proposal to add an angled support roof over our flat roof, which would eliminate any ongoing heavy snow/ice rain conditions. Since I had planned to have our eavestroughs replaced and siding added in the near future anyway, Steve factored all of these different materials and work into his proposal, and did a great job in coordinating the different crews in early January. All the work crews were terrific, and even did extra cosmetic work for us when requested. I would recommend Juff's Roofing without any reservations.

Replacing a roof is a significant job so I decided to do a little research before I contacted any contractors. I quickly discovered that improper ventilation or shortcuts in surface preparation or installation would significantly affect the overall lifespan of the roof. I obtained quotes from 6 reputable roofing companies asking all of them some basic questions. One company stood out in their professional approach, overall knowledge and emphasis on a quality installation, Juffs Roofing. Steve took the time to explain step by step how he would proceed and recommended an innovative solution for the main roof that eliminated the need for any of those ugly surface vents! He also quoted a price that was competitive with the other quotes. The installation crew, led by Bob was excellent. They were prompt, courteous, neat and really took pride in what they did. When they came up against problems (there always are some) they discussed the options and recommended a solution. It was obvious that these guys have a ton of experience. Overall, a positive experience and a great job. The neighbors all love it! I would not hesitate to recommend Juffs.

I was shown a presentation by someone from Juffs Roofing and they portrayed themselves to care about property and their customers. Well I had to see it to believe it and actually drove by a job they were doing in Thornhill. They had practically wrapped the house and landscaping in tarps. I snapped a picture on my cell phone to show my wife who in the end is glad we choose a designer shingle. Longer Protection and it definitely adds to the overall look of our home.Thanks to Bob and his crew as well as the office staff at Juffs Roofing. You all were great to your word.
