I called Juffs when an ice dam in my eaves started a leak in my living room ceiling. Michael was very professional, explaining what was probably going on, how Juffs would tackle the problem now, and what the cost breakdown would be. Shane and Adam arrived and fixed the problem. A meeting is scheduled with Steve to determine a permanent solution. I would, and already have, recommend Juffs Roofing.

Steve Meltz did our roof in 2000. He was professional and very helpfull walking us through the whole project before we signed. Juffs wasnt the cheapest price we got but I know we got the best value. Now 9 years later the roof still performs and looks as good as new. Thanks Steve for the great job.

I called Juff's when I had a leak in my roof. I have little experience with home repairs but I picked Juff's after checking their ratings and reading their website. They gave me fast service, were friendly and explained the different options available to me which I really appreciated. They provided photos of before and after, explained what they would do and kept in contact with me. Very professional and customer oriented. I recommend Juff's.

From the first moment we had contact with Juff's we knew we were dealing with the right company. When Steve Meltz came out to meet with us we were so impressed by his knowledge, thorough explanations and professionalism. We learned very early on that it's not about comparing prices, but rather comparing what you are getting for the price. It seems that many companies will cover your roof with new shingles, and the type of shingles you choose is only one factor. It is the process and materials used before those shingles are laid that make for a better roof and makes sense out of why the cost of the job may be a bit higher. We also did some reading on CONSUMER REPORTS and learned that the CERTAINTEED shingles were an excellent option. We signed on the dotted line and waited a few weeks for the job to start. Why did it take so long? Juff's had been so busy doing emergency repairs on homes where inferior jobs had been done by other companies. While the actual job was being done we were so impressed with Bob and his crew. They were so friendly, professional, meticulous, and obviously experienced. Each night, the area was cleaned up so well you wouldn't have known what was being done! They even removed the dumpster for Halloween night(as we had requested) and brought it back the next day, not to interfere with all the kids coming by the property, with no extra charge to us. We would highly reccomend Juffs. We can sleep at night now and never worry about our roof. LET IT RAIN, LET IT RAIN, LET IT RAIN!

First, the effort the people at Juffs made to communicate was exceptional. For us, knowing what’s going to happen, when it’s going to happen, how much it will cost, and, once it starts, how it’s progressing is almost as important as the work itself, and Juffs is stellar in this regard. We received a detailed description of the project (briefly, the rebuilding of a parapet and the installation of a flashing system and a membrane to blend with our existing modified Bitumen system) with our quote and were shown photographs of the various stages of the work on our roof and had it explained thoroughly. As far as we’re concerned, when the soundness of the very roof over your head is at stake, it’s essential to have this kind of information. In our experience, this kind of attention is rare. During a busy season when, as we were learning, repairs aren’t popular among roofers, we got a meaningful response to our initial call to the Juffs repair division almost immediately. The time between our accepting the quote and the start of the work was only a few days. Also, once the work got going, it became apparent that the job was slightly more involved than anticipated, but Juffs honoured their quote and got the work done quickly. As for the work itself, we’ve had some heavy rain, and everything is dry. We have every reason to believe that this will be the case over time.

I called Juffs Roofing recently for what appeared to be water coming into my room ceiling from roof. At that time I had trouble finding a roofer but they came right away to take care of problem. They added a downspout to drain a buildup of water from roof. However I still had wet ceiling. When I called them back they returned right away and were able to accurately determine that the problem was moisture due to a lack of attic insulation in one corner and also a humidity problem. They soon returned to fix problem. I would highly recommend Juffs Roofing for excellent service and workmanship.

When the time comes to change your roof you have to do your homework before choosing the right contractor and materials. I searched the internet, asked friends and neighbors, read the reviews. I collected quotes from 5 different roofing companies including Avenue Road roofing, Alpine roofing, Wow Roofing, Carl R roofing, and Juffs roofing. Some companies were cheaper than others, but none of them had provided me with such a professional approach as Juffs. Every single item had been included in the quote: Material selection for the base layer, shingle selection and proper shingle type, vent size, vent type and quantity based on the roof size and configuration, etc... The Company representative, Mr. Shay Barat, certified roof specialist, had explained the proper way the roof needs to be installed. Juffs uses only one crew, no temporary people from agencies, so it guaranties quality installation. Yes, Juffs is not the cheapest roofing company - but I’m paying for the quality and headache free roof! The job had been done on time and very professionally. Highly recommended! After a rain storm my roof that was only 3 years old had developed a leak that caused alot of damage to the inside of my house.I called a number of roofers but it was a chalenge to get any one to call me back.I finally found another company that would come and assess the roof and out of desperation i agreeed to proceed with the repair in 2 days.Thats when i called and spoke to Mike from Juffs roofing who explainned to me what Juffs Roofing poliy was and that is to fix it right the first time properly and not do a patch job.He had my attention with his professionalism and after asked me to speak to Stephen who explainned to me in detail what he thought was wrong with my roof and what was causing the leak.I was impressed that he had a very good idea of he problem with my explaination and had agreed to come look at the roof the next morning at 6.30 am.Ater looking at the roof he diagnoised the problem as he did before he saw it.This gentlemen Stephen really puts faith back in the renovation bussness. Pictures were taken step by step showing me the problems and what was done to repair them.I think all 3 gentlemen that i spoke to and met were truely profesional and true to their word thanks again Mike,Stephen and Jason.

Three autumns ago I paid a fortune to have a new roof installed on my house, and when the first thaw arrived, the lighting fixture above my front door became the conduit for a stream of dirty water. The roofer came by and refused to fix it, citing “problems” not of his making….the spouts were wrong, the shape of the roof promoted leakage, the gutters incorrect...blah, blah, blah. In the interim, I have had numerous companies futilely attempt to correct this problem...to no avail. Homestar was introduced to me by a friend, and through their website, I contacted Juffs. I spoke to Steve on Wednesday, a gentleman came to evaluate the problem on Thursday, and was back early Friday morning to repair it. He was knowledgable, hardworking and friendly. On Sunday we had a downpour, and in the midst of it, our doorbell rang. A few moments later, with jaw agape, and eyes wide in amazement...my husband stumbled into the room sputtering...."You won't believe it...but the man who fixed the roof on Friday actually just came by to make sure there was no further leakage! Where on earth did you find this company??? We MUST recommend them to EVERYONE!!!!" ....and we are doing just that......

Upon inspecting a leak that had formed from a damaged shingle, we noticed the roof above our 2nd floor bathroom had rotted so that it sagged. This was very concerning since our roof was only 8 years old. In total, I had 4 roofing companies look at the problem, but Juffs was the only roofing company who did a proper assessment of the cause and took the time to explain potential solutions. And, they were very quick to respond...I called Steve at Juffs on a Monday morning, he came with his team Monday afternoon, assessed the situation, met with me and showed me pictures and proceeded with the work the next day. The job was performed very thoroughly, the wood was replaced, new foam insulation was installed, and an electrician that Juffs brought-in installed a bathroom fan. Juffs was very responsive, and I found Steve to be very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. All in all, I'm very satisfied with Juffs and the work they performed, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
