    Removal of Junk

    I don't know that I can say enough great things about this company. From the moment I called Junk IT I somehow knew this would be a positive experience. The customer service representative Alex was fantastic to deal with. Very knowledable and professional over the phone. I wanted to bump up the day of my junk pick up to the following day and they were able to accomodate this for me and it was a very last minute request. I was told that the crew would contact me prior to arrival and they did. When the crew arrived the price was clearly explained to me and they did not proceed with the work until I accepted the written estimate which I found to be extrememly professional. The crew who arrived to pick up my Junk were professional, polite and worked very hard to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They even swept my garage after cleaning up all my junk!!! Which I thought was a very nice touch and saved me some more work. It is very hard to find great businesses with great customer service these days. I have nothing but great things to say about this company and the service they provide. I would definitely recommend this company to all my family and friends. Thank you again Junk IT!     Debris removal

    Absolutely terrible experience with Junk iT. They had to reschedule twice over two days and when they did show up, three hours late, they were rude, nasty, and ripped me off. I was quoted a much lower price over the phone and ended up paying twice that amount when the work was complete. They didn't sweep up after themselves and whined, loudly, throughout the entire job. This was a really straightforward job of removing scrap concrete and other construction debris that in no way exceeded even 1/4 load for their truck. It took them less than half an hour to complete the work. I paid for an hour. As they complained about my job they also found time to complain about the last guy and the person before that. Just in case you think they were unhappy to just be doing my job - they hated your job, too. And how do I know they were complaining the entire time? I was HELPING THEM LOAD THEIR TRUCK. Was there a "thank you?' No, of course not. This is Junk iT, after all. I have used this company in the past and never had an issue but I will never, ever use them again. A miserable crew and no attention to detail makes for a company entirely concerned with taking your money and giving nothing back. Avoid Junk iT at all costs, (nothing could cost more than Junk iT, anyway).

We have been a member of Homestars for many years and appreciate receiving feedback from our customers and at the same time affording us the opportunity to discuss those comments. After a thorough investigation conducted by the President of JuNK iT! the following are our comments surrounding this particular job. When the request for service was made, the telephone call was handled by one of our most experienced customer service representatives (CSR). During that call our rates for the service requested were explained. By the way all of our rates are available on our website at www.junkit.ca. In this instance the notes on the order indicate the CSR actually quoted a higher rate than what was charged. Our normal practice when providing an estimate over the phone is to explain that the price cannot be considered final until we verify the material. Part of our process is for the crew to provide a no obligation estimate when they arrive and only proceed with service upon a signed acknowledgement from the customer. This was followed in this instance with the crew on site providing a price based on our set rates. The customer signed acceptance of this price prior to proceeding with the clean up. Should there be a need to reschedule a pickup the customer is contacted and if it is not acceptable to them, the customer has the opportunity to cancel without obligation. In this case the customer agreed to moving the pickup date. Our hiring practices entail conducting third party background checks, driver abstract checks and successful candidates are provided customer service training. It is our goal to leave every client 100% satisfied while providing hassle free junk removal services with competitive rates. We achieve this by making sure we communicate with our customers in a courteous, honest and professional manner. As a family owned and operated business we truly care about our clients and that confidence has allowed us to provide excellent service to our customers over the past 10 years. In your case, we regret we did not live up to your expectations.     Junk It

    Great service; they were on time both for deliverey and pick up; costs were exactly as I expected, very comparable to others. Given the amount I had to junk, it would probably have cost me as much to take it down to the local dump. Very pleased!

    Junk Removal

    I had rolled up carpet in garbage bags, drywall, tubs of stucco and construction debris - an1/8 load. You book online and get a $ 25.00 discount. It's really easy. The men were on time and callled a half hour ahead of time. I didn't have to do anything.

    Construction debris removal

    We removed many layers of tile and a plywood sub-floor from our kitchen. At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, I got online (junkit.ca) and ordered a removal for the following morning between 10 and noon. The next day, shortly before 10:00 a.m., we received a call from Chris with Junk-it, who indicated he was on his way. Shortly after 10:00 a.m., Chris and a co-worker arrived, gave us an estimate (the amount we expected after viewing their pricing on their website), and they hauled our debris away. A very simple and swift transaction.

    I had workers from Junkit come and remove old furniture and renovation materials.

    The workers were on time, polite, and answered questions I had. However, the cost that is posted on the website is deceiving. They promote that if you book with them online there is a $25 discount. It is not explicit on the website that the posted price already includes the $25 discount. When I questioned the staff on site, they said that this questioning from customers happens a lot. When I telephoned the office, they said that the website cost includes the $25 discount, but I did not see this highlighted on the site. The fact that it happens a lot (once the customer has booked and workers are there to complete the job) should tell the company to change their website advertising to be more honest.

    20 yrd bin Rental

    I have used Junk-It 3 different times now for renovations and have never been disappointed by their staff or services. I have used the online ordering option exclusively and cannot say enough about how simple easy and convenient it is. Great price, great service, great convenience! I would recommend them to family, friends and anyone looking for this type of service! Great job Junk-It!

    Basement renovation removal

    I hired Junk it to provide a 20 yd bin for my basement renovation. Crew delivered the bin on time and put down 2x4's to protect my driveway and ensure no damage was done. They were on time, fairly priced and the service was great. I'd highly recommend them to anyone else.

    home junk removal

    I called the 1-800 number and Owen came on the line. I told him I needed a bin for trash removal ASAP, AND HE SENT ONE IN UNDER 3 HOURS! Three other companies ( who shall remain nameless) all said I could get a bin on Saturday,, maybe,, (I called Wednesday). The driver put the bin exactly where it did the most good, and the job proceeded as we filled the bin over 2 days. Now I have my weekend free to do weekend stuff instead of swamping out my sold house. Thanks Owen, thanks Brock, and thanks Junk-It for putting together a great team.

    Garbage bin rental

    It was time for a major spring clean! We didn't know how big the job would be. I ordered Junk it garbage bin rental online through junkit.ca. In 5 minutes I had the email verifying my information, invoice in a seperate email and the bin on my drive way in two days (the date that I requested it) The service was excellent they dropped the bin without damaging my tree (which is usually in the way of large items being placed on the drive way). The driver was polite and helpful, he even put on the tarp for me! Two days before the pick-up I received a call from the office to ensure that I was ready for pick-up. The bin was picked-up (completely full might I add - spring clean up turned into use it or toss it decisions) without any issues. Once again the tree wasn't hurt! A day and a half later I received my final invoice via email with the disposal fees, and I was pleasantly surprised. I expected the weight to be much higher than it was! The big highlights for this process, easy and simple on-line ordering; easy to navigate website; no need to be at home for drop off or pick up; and excellent friendly service from all staff! I higly recommend this company...10 stars! They will be getting my future business for the next big clean and/or reno!
