Of all the electricians I contacted, Kiya was the most professional, knowledgeable and helpful. He was very patient with my requests and despite all the surprise challenges he encountered within the ceilings, he managed to to find a solution. His price is fair, he's reliable, trustworthy and responds to your phone calls in a timely manner. Despite how busy he is, he is very accommodating to your schedule. I would definitely recommend him.

Kiya constantly fighting with staff which resulted in staff quitting in middle of job (staff were actually good and deserve a separate recommendation). I paid but he did not complete job, messiest electricians ever. Far too much unneeded stress and I would not recommend them.

Kiya Sunrise Electical Ltd replaced all knob and tube wiring in our home. The home inspection report indicated that only 1/3 of the house was old wiring. Kiya came for an inspection and quote, he showed me that the entire house was full of knob and tube excluding the basement. I hired them from a referral that had the same work completed, their pricing was competitive and they have a ton of knob and tube exprience. He and his crew completed the job within 5 days. We bought a 100 year old with tons of character (original crown molding, plaster walls, hardwood floors, etc.) they were able to run wires throughout the entire house with virtually no damage. They not only replaced the old wiring but the brought the house into the 2000's with 3-4 plugs per room, pot lights and sconces, exterior plugs and more. All the other quotes I had were around the same price but strictly replacing without the extras. Sunrise Electrical Ltd went above and beyond. I would recommend hiring Kiya Sunrise Electrical Ltd to everyone as they did a great job.

We have used Kiya several times in the past and have always been extremely satisfied with his work. He is considerate, timely and cost effective and we won't hesitate to call him again in the future.

Kiya Sunrise Electric came to my home last week as i was acquiring a bit of moving and wiring around the kitchen. Which included installing pot lights, and re-directing switches to the correct area. Kiya SElectric was quick and punctual to help me get the job done. I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for such reliable and efficient services.

We had to get the knob and tube replaced in our 70 year old house which we initially thought was just 40% from an inspectors report. However, after Kiya’s first visit to our house he walked thru the house and took time with each outlet and showed us that the house was actually 90% knob and tube. We also called couple of other electricians found on homestars for quotes. However they didn’t spend as much time with us. Simply glanced at the house and give us a quote which was based on our inspectors estimate of the knob and tube in the house. We were glad that we went with Kiya because he was accurate with his estimate and delivered on budget and time. Since we were expecting a new baby on the way and needed to settle into the house. Completing on time was critical for us. His pricing was also very reasonable which we also like a lot ?. There was couple of things that couldn’t be finished until the general contractors completed their work. Kiya came back on the day he told us and completed the work. He also got us the ESA certificate required for our insurance company. We highly recommend Kiya and in the future if we ever need to do electrical work for our house Kiya would be our only contact.

I found Kia and his team to be consciencious and hard working. When speaking with Kia, my impression was always that he was very knowledgeable and experienced. This gave me great confidence in his work and I have been very satisfied with the results.

Called Kiya for an estimate, he was working in the neighbourhood so came the same day. His price was comparable to other quotes I had received, he was very nice and able to do the work the next day. He brought a few guys and they were done in a few hours. Very happy with the job done!

Suddenly my treadmill machine stopped - no power on the receptacle. I called an electrician listed in a flyer I received from my mailbox. This electrician spent thirty minutes but could not find the problem and wanted to run new electrical wire to the bedroom receptacle. I call Mr. Kia from Homestars.com, the “owner” of Kiya Sunrise Electrical Ltd. who immediately responded to my call and was at my place in ten minutes to fix the problem. These guys know what they are doing. Mr. Kia took five minutes to find the open receptacle and fixed the problem. He also removed the old on/off lighting switch and replaced them with new on/off switch with dimmer light control in two bedrooms and also fixed the wiring problem with the kitchen counter receptacles which always keep tripping the control breaker when using standard appliances. All this within the same time the first electrician took and could not find the problem. I am very pleased with the excellent job done by Mr. Kia and Kiya Sunrise Electrical Ltd. I have known Mr. Kia Daliri since early 1982, and he proved to me to be very honest, trustworthy, sincere, punctual, reasonable, reliable and professional. In 1986 I had Mr. Kia (owner of “Kiya Sunrise Electric”) and his team did all the Industrial Electrical installation (singled and three phased) work necessary for a new Plastic containers manufacturing Company in Woodbridge Ontario. He and his team completed the job before the scheduled time and everything worked perfectly. This team of qualified professionals knows what they are doing. I will always use them and willingly recommend this company to anyone.

I called several electricians who had good reviews on Homestars however only Kiya called me back immediately. One other company got back to me after I contacted them three times. I had both Kiya and the other company come in to provide me with a quote and Kiya's was 1/3 of the price; I figured with the good reviews and the price discrepancy I would go with Kiya. Kiya was able to schedule me within a week of me giving him the go ahead. He was very good about communicating with me; he was not able to come at the agreed upon time so he called the evening before and let me know he would be later than expected. Originally we believed there were only two sections of knob and tube in the house, however, upon further inspection Kiya discovered there was one additional area that needed to be addressed and he fixed this as well for the original price quoted. I would definitely use Kiya again and I would certainly recommend his services. He does quality work.
