Went to Store Alan helped me out. Retail store had wood stoves working and a lot of products to look at. I though I wanted a wood insert but after talking to Alan I chose a small Jotel. Looks nicer than the picture. Install went with out a hitch. I am pleased with the product and service.

We recently had Marsh’s design and make fireplace doors for our new home. We are delighted with the result. And owner Alan Baroey went above and beyond to ensure we were pleased. We accidentally shattered one of the glass doors. Alan came over on a weekend, picked up the broken door, had new glass made for both doors, reinstalled them himself, and then to our surprise refused to charge us, even though his company had nothing to do with the broken glass! Alan is an extremely honourable man who is in business to provide the very best product and service to ensure his customers are pleased. We wholeheartedly recommend Alan, his staff and this company.

Exceptional experience and service from Marsh’s. I also had the opportunity to speak directly with the owner who did the job over the holidays because he gave his guys the holidays off WOW!!!!

I would highly recommend Marsh's. They excel in customer service and saved me from a disasterous experience with another dealer who I bought my fireplace from and regret I did. Even though Marsh's did not get the sale from me they still professionally guided me through the process of getting the many deficiencies I was left with addressed. We recently decided to upgrade the basement fireplace at my parents house. Did our research and found Marsh’s Stoves and Fireplaces. So happy we did. We dealt with Alan Baroey right from the get go (owner). Very profesional, he visited the house measured everything out, took pictures and made some honest recommendations. The installers that showed up (led by Tony) were also very profesional. They did a fantastic job removing old fireplace and outdated gas lines as well as installing new fireplace, gas lines and doing necessary preparations for a new fireplace in the upstairs for the future. Marsh’s team did a fantastic job, we love the product and look forward to doing it again before next winter. Thank you Alan, Tony and the entire team at Marsh’s Stoves and Fireplaces. Mom and Dad are thrilled.

We shop local which led us to Marsh’s. We dealt with Alan who happens to be the owner. We were well served and although we were closing in on Christmas Alan came over, measured it all up and made it happen on time (Dec 17th) as promised. The installers are oh so good and there were, all told 2 crews totalling 5 men to prepare and execute the job! They even fixed an issue with our existing gas line on their own initiative. From start to finish it’s been a great experience. Alan is so respectful and honest...rare find this day and age. Deal with confidence. Thanks Marsh’s team we love it!

I absolutely love my new gas fireplace! Dealing with Alan Baroey at Marsh's was a joy-easy and worry free. I couldn't have imagined an easier process which for years I ruminated, would be unaffordable and complicated in my old house where the gas entry was on the opposite side of the house. No problem! Tony and Mark installed everything, cleanly and efficiently in five hours. I was amazed and delighted with the result, in time for Christmas. No more cool spots in my living room and the fire, which looks identical to a wood fire, is welcoming and easy to enjoy at the touch of a switch. All the pleasure of fire, none of the work of wood. It's the best. Thank you so much Alan, Tony and Mark for fulfilling my long held wish for a gas fireplace that you delivered to my complete satisfaction and all with friendly and reliable service.

Conversion of an old wood fireplace in Cabbagetown to gas. The interior box was very small, but Marsh's recommended an appropriate 'Valor' insert with a remote and it looks terrific! The best part is that it does not require electricity so it will work even if the power is off. We had used Marsh's in a previous house for 2 fireplaces and I have to say that their service is second to none. They arrived on time, placed drop sheets and vacuumed frequently during the work and perfect clean up at the end.

Great job done! Workmen were on time, experienced and completed job in a timely manner. They left job site clean. They also took the time to explain all aspects of fireplace installation. Highly recommended.

We were renovating our family room that had an existing stone fireplace. Along with Alan from Marsh's, we thought we could install a gas insert in the existing fireplace. It turns out that we couldn't. Although we had already chosen an insert, when the came to install, it turned out that the insert didn't fit. Consulting with Alan and the other professionals at Marsh's, we all agreed that the best solution was to tear down the existing fireplace and reface it. However, this came with having to choose a different unit. This meant delays to our project. Alan and the Marsh's team worked closely with us to choose the best fit given our new situation and expedited the installation. Marsh's was very cooperative and collaborative throughout the whole process. We ecstatic with Marsh's service, value and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure their customers are 100% satisfied. We would highly recommend Marsh's!
