We had heard of Marsh's but checked them out on Homestars before seriously considering them. We had two gas inserts done at the same time and needed the job done in a tight time frame before our hardwood installers were scheduled to come in. They arrived a bit later than expected on the scheduled day, but sent two teams of installers so that the job would be done on time. The downstairs fireplace posed a challenge to them because of the S-shaped flue. At the end they said it was one of the more challenging installs they'd done in a while, but they managed it. Everyone from the sales guy (Willem) to the installers was professional and helpful. We love our Valor fireplaces and would definitely recommend Marsh's.

A designer referred us to a Town & Country fireplace dealer downtown, but the quote seemed a bit pricey. So we emailed Marsh's and they called the next day and came out to confirm the fireplace could be installed and that the gas line was accessible. Marsh's quoted $2,000 less than the other quote we had for the full package (fireplace, logset, accessories and installation). The service from the team was excellent, they know their stuff and they were really pleasant to deal with.

My story begins with the owner, Alan Baroey, taking the time to meet with me at the final visit before possession of my new and very special home to see if I could have the fireplace of my dreams. Suffice to say that Alan, along with his delightful men, went above and beyond the call and conquered a myriad of obstacles (too many to mention here) to bring me that fireplace. As well, I bought my dream barbecue and they serviced the Napolean fireplace already there to make it like new, including taking the time to instruct me on the workings of both. The owner did not stop there, making sure that after installation any concerns were addressed and I was utterly satisfied. I am taking this time to write in hopes that they will truly know how grateful I am to each one of them and how special they are in this service-lacking world. I spent the holidays in front of what is now affectionately called the Great Fireplace and it was simply (and there was nothing simple about it) and truly...magical. No kidding! Cori in the Beach

We have an old fireplace in our house, we called Marsh's Stoves to repair and fix its problems. They helped assess our needs and worked very clean same as we liked. Now the fireplace masonry was re-built, and we are happy that select this company for the first time. Thanks!

we were looking to redo our living room with a new fireplace. Found Marsh's stove on line, went to the store and from the moment we entered the service was excellent. We are extremely pleased with Alan with his knowledge and prompt dealing with the problems we had. The one in particular was to figure out how to put the fireplace switch on the wall. Alan came into our house, tried to connect it, couldn't do it but the next morning had 2 of his workers come to the house and in less than 1/2 hour had the line connected and the switch on the wall. We have another fireplace in our basement that eventually will need to be replaced and the only people we will deal with would be Marsh's stoves. We would highly recommend them for your projects.

My sister Pina was renovating her home in Toronto and had Marsh's install two fireplace inserts. I was very impressed with the outcome and decided to give them a call myself. I have a 25 year old insert that is not very efficient and was hesitant to use it. Went to Marsh's showroom and met and talked to Alan who was very knowlegable in this area. He came to my home measured and suggested a few good options that would work for me. Within a few days we had a brand new insert that works great. They were very professional in their work. After looking around for a gas fireplace in the GTA, my wife and I decided to deal with Marsh's Fireplace due to their professionalism, Courteous attitude, over 60 years of service and above all in house installers who were extremely knowledgeable. They arrived on time with a smile and did the install without any issues. Our fireplace looks great as if it was always here. They followed up after the installation and we are very happy. I love my new gas fireplace that Marsh's installed in my living room. It's beautiful and suits our home perfectly, you would think it was an original feature to our century home. It will also save on our heating bills as a great bonus!
