Thanks for the deck Alec and team! The strong foundation and support appealed to the engineer in me. The attention to detail and exacting fits and measurements around a less then perfect century home was very much appreciated by the perfectionist in me. Well done! Even my 10 year old was impressed saying "That deck is way better then I expected!". All the little unasked for extras truly put your service and team in a class of their own.

Alec and his team were amazing, they were all professional, personable and exceptionally hard working! They certainly knew what they were doing and created a beautiful deck that I know our family will be able to enjoy for years to come. It is already one of our favorite spots to hangout. Beautiful solid deck! Alec and his team provided very professional and responsive customer service. Good value too! I had a small issue after 3 years as the boards shrink and Alec came back quickly to fix at no extra charge.

First things first - Thank you Alec, Daniel and the rest of the Master Deck team. Your workmanship, professionalism, and sense of urgency are impeccable. My wife and I obtained four quotes to build a 12 X 18 composite deck, as well as a concrete pad for a shed we had purchased. Alec was our fourth and final quote; we had two more booked, but once we met Alec, we called him the next day and signed the deal. Alec knows his stuff. He provided a lot of good ideas on the design and took us through the whole process from soup to nuts. Alec's price was just right; didn't low ball with something that was obviously from someone who isn't a pro and not too high like one of the estimates that we received. We ended up selecting the Azek composite as we like the colour selection and the fact that maintenance is minimal. Alec suggested some really nice lights as a finishing touch on the stairs, as well as a bench and a few flower planters. Alec and crew are relentless. They did all the work the first week of April; they came in and were done by Friday - and that was only because there was one day of terrible rain where they couldn't do any work and another day where they could only get in half a day because of horrible weather. They came through though - got in at 9am on Friday and didn't leave until 8:30pm when the job was done. A nice bonus was that Daniel fixed my gate to my backyard without me even asking. We wanted a deck built in the late fall for springtime use, and Alec delivered. They showed up and built us a good sized deck in 3 days, total. The workers were friendly and the job was done very efficiently and professionally. Plus their quote was cheaper than anyone else we called. A warning for dog owners: don't let your dog out after the concrete/metal foundations are put in, our pooch cut her paw on it requiring stitches. Not willing to blame the workmen for that though, we should have taken precautions.

Alec worked with me to deal with a tricky deck situation - minimal room and buried utilities. The job was the removal of an old on-grade wooden deck with sub-par foundations and a re-build to an walk out deck. He offered options to customize when asked and was very responsive. Him and his crew got the job done in a very timely fashion and it looks great!

Hire this guy!! Alec gave us a plan and a quote on the spot. Because the quote was very reasonable, we upgraded from pressure treated to cedar. He started the job a week later than scheduled because he always finishes one job before starting the next. He and his team did their best to work around our 30 year old cedar hedge. At the end of each day, the job site was left very clean. The quality of the work far exceeded our expectations and our new deck is far nicer than the old one. I recommend Master Deck without reservation.

Alec built an amazing front deck for us! He had built our back deck for us about 10 years ago and we have really enjoyed it. I'm not very organized and had not kept his contact information but luckily my neighbour had! Alec is super friendly and most professional. He had all the patience in the world while we considered our choices and the result is beautiful. Thank you Alec!

We hired Alec for a major renovation of our backyard. He offered the lowest quote by far, and did an excellent job. We got a new deck complete with a beautiful, kid-friendly railing, an back fence, two side fences, two gates and a custom shed they made for us to store our garbage bins. Alec and Tim gave ideas for the design but also accommodated a couple of changes we thought about as the deck was being built. They were punctual, extremely professional and hardworking, and completed a large job within a week. We are very happy and won't hesitate to call them again should we need any other job done.
