Wood floor installation
The Mclaughlin flooring team installed white oak strip flooring on the main floor of my home. From start to finish (quote, prep of subfloor and laying of wood floor, the team was meticulous, accurate delivered quality on budget and within timelines. The finished floor is stunning. No hesitation in recommending McLaughlin flooring. Kudos to McLaughlin Flooring for a job well done

Amazing work!
This was one of the smoothest experiences I've had working with a contractor. Rick called me within 15 minutes of me requesting a quote online. He came by 3 days later to take measurements and provided me with a quote for 3 rooms, baseboards (with optional shoe molding) and removable of the old floor from one of the rooms. He explained the quote in details and how the work would be done. There was no pressure. He told me to call him to let him know if we were interested. After dealing with Rick, I didn't bother calling others for quotes. He was in the range I was expecting. I called him the next day and I was able to schedule the job within a week; they were done in 3 days. Rick and his staff were professional, kept a clean work area and ensured that the place was tidy at the end of each working day. They showed up on time and were just very professional and respectful. As for the quality of work, it exceeded my expectations - they eliminated existing squeaks and did an amazing job leveling out the boards to make them flush where the hardwood meets the ceramic tiles. They also installed baseboards on the stairs and it looks amazing! I highly recommend Mclaughlin Flooring Installation. Great job!

Floors and Stairs
Rick and his team did an excellent job replacing our sixty year old wood floors with new oak solid hardwood floors on the main level of our raised bungalow. They were very thorough. Even small details were nicely completed. Rick was in constant communication with us about what they were doing. They moved large furniture as needed. Max did a superb job renovating our old entrance stairway. He explained everything to us as he worked on the stairs. We are very happy with the outcome. Thanks, John and Nellie

Hardwood flooring and stairs
Rick and his team truly went above and beyond to install new hardwood planks in a *very* old section of our house. After removing our old laminate, he pulled up an additional four layers of old flooring (vinyl, parquet, etc.) and then rebuilt the subfloor with a tremendous amount of shimming. His colleague Max then painstakingly resurfaced our creaky, formerly carpeted staircase in beautifully stained oak. Excellent communication throughout the duration of the project. Rick and Max are true craftsmenand in our case, practically miracle workers.

Installing laminate flooring in my house

Flooring & stairs replacement
Cant say enough good things about Rick, Max and the crew. We were given a few different options and costs which allowed us to choose the right one. The work done and clean up were excellent, good communication throughout. Highly recommended

Vinyl core flooring main floor of house
Rick and his team moved in as scheduled, and did an absolutely amazing job in laying down our new Vinyl click flooring. Ricks attention to detail, professionalism, experience are second to none. Rick took the time to fully inspect the site fully before giving his recommendations and quote. I had no idea that there was so much that had to be seen to in order to make sure that the final result was totally professional. Rick and his team took the time to prepare the subfloor and walls for the base boards casings and transitions. Furniture was carefully covered and moved. Rick is one of the most punctual people I know and he made sure his team kept to schedule. The end result was professionally done floor, base boards and casings worthy of a master builder. What an excellent Company. I am so glad that we got Rick to do the job. I do so highly recommend his Company to anyone who wants the best possible result.

Installation of Vinyl Plank Flooring
More than pleased with the outcome of our project in our kitchen. Rick and his team arrived on time and the job was completed with great attention to detail with respect to mitre cuts and fitting around doorways. They worked efficiently. We really appreciated Ricks attention to ensuring that the quarter round colour installed matched our existing cabinetry. Rick was very responsive to our individual needs. The team ensured cleanliness during the job and afterwards was a priority. The whole team took pride in a job well done! We would definitely hire them again for any future projects.

Engineered Hardwoord Floors
Rick and his team are an impeccable team to have working on your floors. We had called Rick 14 years ago when we first moved into our house to do our main floor to change from parquet to hardwood flooring. 14 years later, we called Rick and his team again to help us change the carpet to engineered hardwood on our second floor. They made such an impression the first time, we had to call them again the second time. And again they did not disappoint. Their work and service is still as fantastic as we had remembered them. We are very happy with the work they did on our second floor especially with the raising of the nosing on the staircase which we know was very difficult to do (Thank you Max!!). They ensured we were pleased with the installation and kept the work site very clean (our garage maybe even cleaner than before) My husband and I would highly recommend their services and we couldn't be happier with our new flooring. THANK YOU!!!!

Install or Replace Wood Flooring
The guys did a great job, they were very clean and the floor looks great. The owner came by to pick up a piece of the floor to get the threshold to match and it looks so much better than the threshold the previous company did when installing the other rooms.
