    replace basket strainer drain in kitchen sink

    Repair was done by Mr. Will Vincent, and the job was well done. Mr. Vincent is very friendly, and gave estimates for other repairs that I requested, which we might do in the future

    Plumbing fix

    Great guys, as close to perfect as you can get. Kinda pricey but as expected with such a huge plumbing issue. Our upstairs shower had flooded and a ton of work needed to be done to get to the actual pipes and find where the leak was coming from. Thanks for the hard work. Mike & Ana

    Replaced leaking pipe

    From the first phone call the Mr. Rooter staff were very helpful and courteous. We had water dripping down from the ceiling in our basement and couldn't tell where it was coming from. Mr. Rooter sent out their technician Rick right away and he was at our house within a few hours. Even though it was a free assessment & quote visit Rick spent a lot of time inspecting our house trying to find the leak and giving us feedback on the state of our plumbing system. It turns out the leak was in an area that we couldn't get to, but still Rick did all he could to pin-point the probable area and give us advice. We are new homeowners and don't have any experience with this sort of thing. He explained about what our options were regarding what our house insurance would likely cover and got us connected to a water damage restoration company. He even got us booked for a visit for an assessment from them the very same day. By the end of the day we had a plan and knew what was to be done, all thanks to Rick. After everything was opened up and we had access to the effected pipes Rick came back and did the repair. They quote based on a pricing book so you can clearly see what everything will cost and make decisions. Rick had many suggestions for us since our plumbing wasn't done professionally in the first place and he respected our limited budget so the repair ended up being very affordable. He has an impressive list of credentials and is obviously very experienced. In general some of their prices may be a little higher than less reputable companies, but you get what you pay for. If it's important to you to have a fully licensed, experienced plumber, with the work done "by the book" and under warranty then I highly recommend Mr. Rooter GTA. Their service level is top notch throughout the whole process and I really feel we got more than our money's worth.

    Radiator repair

    The valve on one of our radiators was leaking. Rick arrived immediately and was able to solve the problem without delay .He also provided advice regarding our rads in general. He was patient and through. He remained extra time to make sure the leaking had ceased.

    Service

    Toilet leak- thought it was the wax ring. Plumber Rick Phillips investigated and discovered the tank to bowl gasket had deteriorated. Toilet was 4 years old made by Foremost. Parts no longer seem readily available. Anyway we bought a new toilet, removed the old one and voila-everything is back to normal. Our plumber Rick Phillips was a nice experience. He is knowlegable friendly and not afraid to get hands dirty. Anymore plumbing issues, we will definitely be asking for Rick.

    Leaking faucet, replacement of shut off valves

    Rick went WAY over and above his responsibilities by helping me find a mystery shut off valve for an outdoor connection as well as reconnecting a broken chain in a toilet. He also provided helpful and useful tips for general plumbing concerns around the house. I will DEFINITELY be calling on him again to help with any future plumbing needs.

    Fixed hot water in shower

    We had our hot water die on us on a Friday, so we needed to call a company to help us fix it on a weekend. Mr. Rooter sent over Grant Reuston, who was incredibly helpful. He quickly diagnosed the problem on a very non-standard shower, advised us on how to get it fixed and the parts that were needed, and fixed it properly. And, when we found that after the work, the shower needed a bit of tweaking, Grant came over again, apologized for the inconvenience and fixed the work at no charge. Grant was very personable and we were happy to have him help.

    drainage block

    On Wednesday night we had a problem with a leak from our wash machine and/or clogged drain. Within an hour of our call, Rick was at our door. Just over an hour later, Rick had found our problem, snaked our drain, replaced a disintigrating trap, suggested we replace the double sinks and pipes in the very near future, and gave us tips on how to save us money on major repairs. He was very polite, very knowledgeable, a very clean worker and very efficient. Of all the plumbers we have had from Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Rick was the one we liked the best.

    Clogged Sink

    Bathroom sinked clogged. I thought at first was just clogged at stopper area. But it was more than that. Ziggy from Mr. Rooter did a wonderful professional job in cleaning the pipe deep and thorough. Because I was watching, Ziggy described to me what he was doing every step of the way. It was clear. Problem solved. In addition, Ziggy is a very polite and pleasant gentleman. I definitely recommend Mr. Rooter for future plumbing fixes.

    Clogged Kitchen Sink

    Double sink with water filling up on both sides. Tried all suggestions from internet. No luck. Finally called Mr. Rooter and Steve Gillespie showed up right on time. He tried seveal things but no luck. He did not give up. After 3 hours he tried again with the big snake and went 25 ft in and finally got it! Steve was so patient and did not get frustrated. He looked at it like a puzzle and was determined to come up with a solution. We appreciated his friendly nature and calm manner. Thank you to this company and especially Steve. We have now become Mr. Rooter Club members!!!
