    Main Floor Refinishing

    Our floors in family room and dining room were worn from 30 years of constant use and a very large dog. We had our light floors sanded and stained darker to match our casing. From start to finish NewRidge and Tyler, Jeff and Eric were professional and we could not have asked for a better result. Getting lots of compliments and could not be happier. Worth every penny.

    Carpet Removal and Hardwood Flooring Installation (750 sq/feet)

    We selected NewRidge Refinishing Group after both reviewing their positive online reviews as well as their unique project management model. From our initial inquiry Scott promptly answered all our questions and clearly outlined the process via emails. Sebastien and team did a superb job with the hardwood flooring installation and quarter-round moldings. We were extremely impressed by their professionalism from the estimate/scheduling to the actual installation and would highly recommend their services.

    Floor and stair hardwood refinish

    We recently re-stained the hardwood floors and stairs throughout our house and are extremely satisfied with both the process (from first quote to final walk-through) and the outcome of our project. Lory and Radu worked very hard to complete the work on a tight timeline and finished a few days before our move-in date. The team's work ethic was truly remarkable - we would often find them working at the house until the late hours of the night to get the job done. Throughout the process they offered much-appreciated advice and guidance. We were able to select from three different stain samples they had applied to a test area - and Lory called us back to reconsider after the stain didn't look great in a second test spot. The team takes great pride in their work and genuinely cares about the product - no cut corners anywhere. As a result the floors and stairs now look fantastic throughout the house and we would recommend NewRidge in a heartbeat.

    Hardwood installation

    This was for an installation of solid 3/4" prefinished hardwood from Gaylord Hardwood on the entire 2nd floor of our house as well asd new baseboards. Sebastian, Paul and the guys were consummate craftsmen and the result is spectacular!

    Refinishing 5 rooms

    I am pregnant and not able to be in the house while the re-finishing was being done . We are very thankful for these guys!! They came in while we were on vacation and did all 5 rooms. Great service, Would definitely recommend them.

    Excellent work

    We needed our staircase refinished and Scott, Lory and Radu at NewRidge did a great job with it. They gave us a reasonable quote and the work was done promptly according to our timelines. Would highly recommend and would gladly work with them again!

    Strip hardwood floor refinishing

    Pleasure having NewRidge refinish the main floor in our rental property in Hamilton. They did the living room/dining room, front hall and small landing. This is a student rental property, so it has seen a lot of wear and tear over the years. I was amazed at how well Duke was able to bring the floors back to what they should look like. Scott was great to work with in terms of the quote process and Duke was quick and accommodating in getting the job done to our satisfaction. My only recommendation for improvement in the future would be to use a lower odor urethane. The smell hung around for a couple of weeks after the work was done. But I would definitely recommend this company!

    Repair water damage to maple stair case

    Artur work was masterclass. His attention to detail including keeping his work area neat, taping , painstakingly trying to match the color to other wood work on the stairs; without a doubt the best tradesperson we have had do work for us. Not to mention on time everyday, polite and works from the first minute he arrives until the minute he leaves. After reading more reviews on Newridge I must comment that this company is a rare breed in todays market place. If you are having wood work done in your home, do not use anyone else. Again, thanks to Artur and Scott for saving the day.

    Hardwood Floors- Stained

    Scott and Sebastian were very prompt and completely understood the look I was trying to achieve. We purchased a house with VERY shiny RED hardwood floors (about 450 sq feet). Sebastian was able to turn these floors into Matte Barn-Chic looking floors (Many other contractors told us this could not be achieved). They were also able to refer us to a great painter to complete our stairs. I am very happy with the job and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them to a friend.

    Main Floor hardwood replacement

    We had two different hardwood floors on our main floor. Andre provided us with education and helped us evaluate our options. Andre was extremely professional and completed the project on time and on budget. The job site was left clear and clean every night. We are thrilled with the new floors and the matching railing and posts on the stairs. Thank you!
