    Staircase Refinishing

    We just had our staircase refinished by Andre and cannot be more pleased with the quality of workmanship and professionalism. The final product looks impeccable. The cost was amongst the lowest we received when we did our initial inquiries. As a bonus, every day when they were finished, they cleaned up the place well and that made it very comfortable to live in the house (with a toddler) during the renovations.

    Living room-Dining room- hall hardwood floor refinishing

    Words cannot express how happy I am with my newly refinished hardwood floors! This is thanks to Newridge and especially to Matt, who is the greatest! From start to finish, they give excellent advice and my floors that were scratched from 13.5 years of having an excited golden retriever on them, look brand new. I'm so glad I had them refinished instead of replaced. Matt treats your house just like it's his house. He was a pleasure to work with. I'm still smiling at how great they look.

    Refinish Stairs and New Hardwood Flooring

    I can't say enough good things about the work that Andre did on our floors and stairs. I really appreciate that he took the time to level the floors properly before installing the hardwood. The refinishing work on our stairs turned out even better than the newly installed stairs that I've seen. Our stairs were transformed from a part of the house we would avoid looking at to one of the focal points of our renovation.

    Refinishing hardwood floors

    We needed to refinish the hardwood floors in the older home we had purchased prior to moving in. Matt provided a clear estimate and a schedule that was able to meet our deadlines and worked tirelessly to ensure that our project was completed to our satisfaction. He was professional, reliable and patiently answered all of our questions. He provided detailed instructions as to protecting our freshly refinished floors throughout our move and for their care afterward. We would use his services again and recommend him to family and friends without hesitation.

    Floor and stairs refinishing

    In summer 2014 I decided to fix my floor at the main level and the staircase going upstairs. I hired 4 contractors: first one to remove and replace the staircase, second one to fix the wall around the staircase, third one (NewRidge Refinishing) to refinish the staircase and the floor, and the forth one to install a glass wall next to the staircase. I had planned the schedule for each job and had it agreed with each contractor. I wish all 4 contractors would have been like NewRidge. The first one installed the wrong staircase, so they had to rebuild it and bring the right one, which would have been 2 days after NewRidge was supposed to start. Scott and his brother agreed to work around the updated schedule. They still started when initially scheduled, stopped while the staircase got replaced, and finished when scheduled The job they did is absolutely amazing. The floor is flawless - they had repaired everything, they replaced the registers, they installed new (and painted) quarter round around the walls. The color is gorgeous, not quite like I had initially requested, but a much better color. As for the stairs, they did a lot more than I expected: They fixed some stuff underneath the staircase, they built and installed a handrail (which they designed and it goes perfect with the staircase), they fixed the floor around the staircase, they built a new nose-stair (the one provided by the staircase contractor was not the right size). Overall I am very pleased with the work done by NewRidge Refinishing and I highly recommend them. The cost includes stair case refinish, hardwood floor refinish and new handrail (supply and install).

    refinish hardwood floors in dining and living room

    fantastic company in all aspects - communication, timelines, quality of work & professionalism! Scott was fantastic to communicate with and traded emails with me late into the night which was much appreciated. Sebastian and his Son did an amazing job and they even replaced my quarter round and painted off any stains on the base boards! work area was taped off and they cleaned up the area very well. They were on time and did the work on schedule - not much more you can ask for. Thanks to everyone there and apologize for my late review, the work was done April'ish of 2014. we have since moved to another home but feel the quality work helped sell our home.

    Hardwood flooring installation and stair refinishing

    Our project: We ripped out the carpeting and old hardwood on our entire upper floor and stairs, and we purchased our hardwood (Brazilian Chestnut) from a supplier. We then hired Newridge to do the installation, which would involve capping the stairs and staining the treads to match our hardwood, sanding and staining the nosing, painting the rails, spindles, stringers, and risers, and of course, installing the hardwood in the 4 bedrooms and hallway. Sebastian and his crew were a pleasure to work with. We had a few meetings beforehand and Sebastian and Joe (the stair guy) both came to ensure they knew what we wanted. Once the job began, the crew arrived bright and early each day, and worked hard, long days. It was obvious there was pride in the workmanship and also a need to make it perfect. The site was cleaned up at the end of each day, and great efforts were taken to keep the rest of our house dust free from the cutting of the wood. The wood we used was very heavy and not the easiest to cut, but the boys never complained and did a fantastic job on the installation. Our floors and stairs look incredible! Working with Sebastian and the crew was a very positive experience for us. They are stand-up guys who do great work. It isn't always easy finding honest, hard-working people, but when you do find them, you tell everyone! Thanks so much! Our upper floor and stairs are no longer an embarassment, but something we are proud to show off!

    oak floor refinishing

    Showed up on time, did an excellent stair repair, excellent refinishing of an oak floor, excellent dust control, excellent price, and they are really nice guys to have in your home.

    Hardwood refinishing

    Sebastian is a miracle worker. We had our floors done about 5 years ago and the company did a real butcher job. Sebastian warned us that he might not be able to repair all the damage, but somehow he did. The floor looks absolutely beautiful, his work has exceeded our expectations. It has been a pleasure working with Sebastian and your company.

    Hardwood Floor Refinishing

    Thankyou to Sebastian and his crew for the great job they did sanding and refinishing the old, damaged floors in our house. The team was punctual, neat and very courteous.
