    Damaged hardwood board replacement

    Very impressed!  Scott was very helpful and accommodating and polite. Matt did an amazing job. Prompt, professional and so very talented. The floor looks amazing, I had no idea that damaged boards could be replaced and look perfect. Matt even cut the boards outside to eliminate any wood dust or mess in my home. Matt also is a very tall, strapping guy and yet he was so soft spoken and gentle and squatted down to make friends with my very timid rescued Chocolate Lab.  Cannot recommend him highly enough!! Thanks guys :)

    New Wooden Floors

    Sebastian came to our house a couple of times ahead of the work to clarify all the details about the materials. He and his team was always punctual and thorough in their work. He gave us a lot of good advice how to achieve the best results. All the while he was courteous and paid attention to even the smallest details. I would recommend his team wholeheartedly!

    Re-finishing Hardwood floors

    We were impressed with Scott for the hardwood flooring re-finishing project. He was very professional with his approach and gave a detailed explanation of the work he would be doing to meet our requirements. After the re-finish, the floors looked like it was brand new, better than what we were expecting!

    Sanding Floors

    Sebastian and his team are absolutely amazing! He and his team sanded, stained and brought back to life all our old hardwood floors in our 90 year old home in Forest Hill. The result was unbelievable! But not only is Sebastian skilled at what he does, he was such a pleasure to deal with in every possible way. He's on time. He works quickly. He comes in exactly on budget. And he has such a great attitude with his clients that he goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy. I really can't say enough for Sebastian. If I had to rank the team out of 10, I'd actually give them a 12 -- they are that good!

    Staircase renovation

    We were extremely pleased with the work NewRidge Refinishing Group did on our staircase. They arrived on time every day and the job was completed to perfection. The spindles were removed, sanded and painted off-site. Our stairs look amazing and we are so happy with their work. It was a pleasure dealing with their team both before and after the project. We would recommend them to everyone!

    Floor Refinishing

    We have used NewRidge 2 times. We have used Matt 2 times and I would highly recommend both. After we demo'd our kitchen last summer we realized there wasn't any floor underneath the cabinets. Because the hardwood on the main floor was a on site custom stain when the house was built 15 years ago we were worried that we weren't going to be successful in matching the new areas that had to be finished with the existing area. We loved the colour of our hardwood and didn't want a new stain. Plus we had adjacent floors on the main floor that were the same. Matt matched it perfectly and the kitchen floor looks amazing! Needless to say when it came to re-do our entire main floor this year we called NewRidge and asked for Matt specifically. Matt is punctual, professional and he really, really takes pride in his work. He takes no shortcuts. When it came to the powder room which is tiny - he really insisted in moving the vanity and doing it properly. The pride he takes in his work is second to none and it is a refreshing trait in this type of service industry. I never write reviews (I read them all the time) but it would be remiss of me not to highlight the great work done in my home. Thank you Matt and thank you NewRidge. Our floors are amazing!!

    Refinishing and New Floors

    We bought a home in the Mt Pleasant and Eglinton neighbourhood and needed new floors. The old floors were quite worn and there was a bad "hump" in the dining room. We checked on Homestars and felt comfortable having NewRidge and Sebastien come for an estimate. Right away we knew that Sebastien was the REAL DEAL!!!!!! He was honest, friendly and took the time to explain each part of the process. Sebastien took a look at both the upstairs and downstairs floors and in the most professional and honest manner, undersold us. He advised us that the upstairs floors were in great condition and just needed a sand and refinish, while the downstairs needed new floors. Sebastien was also very receptive to us providing our own wood. I read on another review that someone called Sebastien an artist... well they could not have been more accurate. The man IS truly an artist. His attention to detail was phenomenal. He never tried to overcharge, he was always on time and friendly and worked hard to make sure the job turned out great. It seemed like our happiness and satisfaction was his biggest concern, and that's what business is lacking today. The price was very competitive and Scott was an absolute pleasure to deal with. NewRidge, Scott, and Sebastien, thank you all for the outstanding work, quality and care for our home. We only wish they did ALL trade work!

    Hardwood flooring/staircase refinishing

    We had hardwood installed throughout our main floor(1100 ft2) and refinished our staircase from the second floor down to the basement level.(2 flights of stairs) I did some research ahead of time and received multiple quotes and decided to chose this company based on the positive reviews and Sebastian's level of knowledge and the fact he seemed to know exactly what we wanted. Our old flooring was a combination of ceramic tile, linoleum, hardwood and carpeting. Sebastien and his crew showed up on time the first day and immediately began demoeing the main floor. Due to the fact that we have small children we decided to go away for a week and left Sebastien with the keys. I was a little worried about leaving our house while a contractor was working on it however Sebastien immediately put my mind to ease and would call and send pictures to update us on the progress. We arrived home after a week away to see Sebastien had finished the job. I was really impressed by the fact that there were no surprises and the renovations were completed on time at the agreed price. The level of craftsmanship was quite evident and we now have a modern look to our home. We would recommend this company to our friends and family without hesitation.

    Refinishing of 1960s Oak Floors

    Sebastian and his boys were professional, skilled, honest and did great work on our floors. They made our 50 year old floors look brand new. These guys are total pros, take pride in their work and did all the little things you would hope for when you are getting an important part of your home redone. The price was fair and Sebastian made us feel like we made the right choice from the time we met him to the time we shook his hand and thanked him for his expert workmanship. First class experience, we will definitely be recommending them.

    Hardwood Refinishing

    Amazing! Yen and crew were very professional, and completely revived our upstairs old hardwood floors - they look new. My wife and I are very satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend NewRidge to anyone.
