Hardwood Floor Refinishing
Sebastian and NewRidge Refinishing are extremely professional and helpful. They showed up when they said they would, and the job went exactly the way Sebastian told us it would be done. Plus the price they quoted us was the price we paid. They did such a great job on my Cherry wood floors in my living and dining room, about a month ago that I decided to have them come back and refinish the hardwood floors in my family room (which initially I was going to rip out and replace). The family room floor came out better than I expected, Sebastian had to replace/redo part of the wood floor that was put in wrong be another contractor. Refinishing old hardwood floors is economical and a great alternative to replacing hardwood floors. I would recommend Sebastian and NewRidge Refinishing 100%.

re-finished old wood floors
Scott and Matt were great to work with; even when we had to change our deadline at the last minute, they were polite and accommodating. The pictures speak for themselves. They redid the trap door to the basement with the spare wood from the closets and it looks amazing - from plywood to hardwood. If you didn’t know it was there you wouldn’t notice it at all. Now we don’t have to hide it with carpet. Whenever we have to refinish a floor again or do any kind of hardwood repairs we will definitely call NewRidge Refinishing. Excellent job, good price and on time… thank you!

refinishing hardwood floors
The boys did a great job on our floors. Extremely helpful with any questions we had. They had the best price out of 4 different quotes and they got back to us quickly. We would definately recommend NewRidge. Thanks again!!

Hardwood Floor Refinishing
A very friendly, professional group of service oriented individuals. I liked the fact that they gave you a rough estimate prior to them actually arriving on site and doing a thorough costing of the job. The final costs for my project were actually less than the estimate! I appreciated their help in helping me to choose the stain and finish to match my existing staircase. And last but not least, my floors look FABULOUS. I would rate this company a 10 out of 10. Thanks to the team for a job well done!

Hardwood Floor Refinishing
We were very impressed with Matt and how efficient he was. He arrived on time each day. Worked until the floor was done and then did an amazing job of cleaning up each day. The hardwood floor looks like new and we could not be happier. We would definitely recommend Matt & NewRidge Refinishing to our family and friends. Thanks for the wonderful work guys.

Hardwood Refinishing
My wife and I have used Homestars for many different services over the past couple years' but have never felt the urge to write a review until now. These guys just plain get it when it comes to running a business, superior customer service, great workmanship and all at a very reasonable price. Admittedly I was a little put off at first when I found the site and it requested first contact via their website thinking I'd never hear from them. Within an hour or 2 Scott responded back to my request with a rough quote. He then scheduled Matt to come out to my house to do all the measurements, he showed up exactly when he said he would. The next day Scott got back to me with a firm quote at two thirds the price of the original estimate. It took me a few weeks to finally get back to them with a firm schedule date, meanwhile sending a few messages back and forth with Scott and each time he got back to me right away. He had Matt come out to refinish the floors, and holy cow ! What a great job he did !!!! We bought our house fully carpeted, not realizing we had oak hardwood floors underneath or in what kind of shape they were in. When I got up the carpet, I though, uh oh !! Think we made a mistake as there were a few rough spots and they looked pretty worn. But Matt has made them look they are brand new and just installed. For anyone that reads this, please rest assured, if you do choose these guys you will not be disappointed. Re-staining stairs and install new flooring
I contacted Scott for a quote for re-staining the stairs and redo the flooring when we bought a new house, Scott sent Andre from concept flooring for the estimate. Scott was responsive via emails and Andre was great. Andre and his crew did an amazing job with the stairs, and it was done on time. they paid great attention to details and suggested what's the best outcome even if that means more work for them. Highly recommended Andre and his crew!

Flooring and Stairs
Scott sent out a subcontractor named Yen to give us a quote. I should have known right from the start that this was a shady operation when Yen quoted me $12K for a new staircase and installation of our floors but was only going to put down 6K on his "official quote" that he would submit to Scott. The job was done quickly but not to our satisfaction. The staircase was not sanded properly and had to be re-done. The floors has varnish spilled on them and the finish was ruined. When I approached Yen to fix it he refused and to my surprise Scott agreed with him!! They blamed their carelessness on the quality of the wood that we chose rather than taking ownership for their mistakes. Do yourself a favour and find someone more professional. STAY AWAY from this company!!! Follow up in response : I think it's hilarious that they say the problem was my "cheap flooring", when the contractor himself said it was good quality before installing it. Also, the issue was not the wood, it was what was spilled on top of the wood. It doesn't matter if you buy $2/sq ft. wood or $20 sq. ft wood, when someone spills varnish on it, IT GETS RUINED!

Please note this client threatened our company that if we don't provide him with a new floor (NOTE: He provided the original material which retailed at $2 SF Not recommended) he would write a bad review. So basically he tried to blackmail us. Yen also went to his house repeated times to follow-up on this clients issues and nothing was ever good enough for him and then the client decides to escalate the problem using blackmail. Please do yourself a favour and read through all reviews and you will see who is telling the truth here. P.S. To other service companies out there STAY AWAY from this client. Regards, Scott

Resurfacing and staining hardwood floors
We have beautiful maple hardwood floors and when deciding to either refinish or buy new the company we contacted first originally told that just buying new would cost the same as it would to resurface and that if we refinished the house would be a complete disaster. The guys at NewRidge were amazing. The service was fast, thorough, clean and the guys were courteous and efficient. They really helped a lot picking out the stain and what an amazing transformation. We are very pleased with the whole experience!

Refinishing wood floors
I called NewRidge Refinishing to have all my wood floors refinished. I was very very satisfied with the professionalism of both Scott and Matt. I would absolutely recommend them. The floors look amazing. Thank you NewRidge for the superior work and service. Beth
