    Leaky Dishwasher

We noticed water leaking out of our dishwasher one night. I called Pambis Appliance the next day from work. Pete had repaired our fridge a few months ago, and I knew the quality service I would be getting from him with the dishwasher. We made an appointment for later in the week. Pete called me on the morning of the appointment to let me know that he was on the way. Despite bad traffic, he actually showed up a little early. I tried to demonstrate the leak, but of course the dishwasherWe worked perfectly when he was here. He took off the front plate and told me to use the dishwwasher over the next few days, and also told me the different places to look for the leak. Sure enough, the leak came back in a few days. I took a picture and emailed it to Pete. He showed up the next day with the correct part, and made the repair. Similar to the first time we met, Pete exceeded all expectations. Like most people, I hate when things around the house break, but as far as appliances go, I know exactly who to call.

    Stove repair

Peter Pambis saved the day once again for me. The oven in my aging gas stove was no longer lighting and Peter was able to quickly diagnose that a new gas valve was needed. The oven is old, but luckily Peter had the part in his truck and he was able to save me the cost of a brand new stove. Great job Peter! It's great to have a service person you can trust.

    Condo Washing Machine Repair

Having read other readers' reviews, I called Peter up about a problem I was having with my washing machine. He pretty much diagnosed the problem over the phone and then booked me in a few days later to come and repair the machine. He arrived on time, was professional, friendly, and honest. He is very knowledgeable and I would have no issue calling him back again! As a fellow customer, please do not hesitate to make that call.

    Stove & Dishwasher

We came home one evening to the smell of gas in our condo. We had used the gas oven earlier in the evening but it had even off for hours. Enbridge came in and tagged it "do not use" until it could be fixed. I called one company that led me along for a couple of days until I got fed up and called Pambis Appliance Repair. I spoke to the owner (Peter Pambis) directly and he came out the same day to fix the stove. It cost around $300 but the problem was resolved. It was a positive and pleasant experience. A couple of weeks ago, I had a leak coming from my dishwasher. I knew how great Pambis was so I didn't hesitate in calling them again. They fixed my dishwasher within a couple of days for approx. $400, but including some plumbing repair which doesn't come cheap. If you need an appliance fixed, call Peter Pambis. He is professional, courteous, and friendly.

    kitchen aid refrigerator too cold

Trying to get my refrigerator repaired through the Kitchen Aid advertised systm proved frustrating and futile. Time was of the essence. In desparation, I surfed the net and chanced upon very high recommendations by people living in my neighborood. They all spoke of a certain Peter whose manners, punctuality, quality of service were all of the highest and best. Indeed, since then Peter of Pambis Applinces Service Ltd. has not only repaired that problem with my fridge but also repaired my gas stove. Today, arriving punctually and working quietly, Peterh changed a faulty air diffuser that had too much cold air coming into the fridge. With this reliable appliance repair service, I know who to call for help.

    cooktop

I called pambis appliance after a horrible experience with another repair company in my area. They clearly were unprepared to repair my ceramic cooktop. Not only did they chip it when they removed it from the counter ( which they denied doing), they appeared totally baffled as to how to repair the switch. They first ordered the wrong part and I had to call them several times to arrange follow-up before anyone got back to me. After realizing I needed someone else's help, I decided on pambis appliance. Chris fielded my call, and diagnosed what the problem likely was on the phone. He suggested that i fwd him the model and serial number of the unit so that they could have the correct part when they showed up. Pete came to repair the cooktop in short order. He quickly identified that the cooktop did NOT need to be removed from the counter at all to be able to service the switch. 5 min later and the problem was fixed. I found his pricing fair and was impressed with his knowledge and honesty. This is how a business should operate!

    Fridge

Two months before putting our condo on the market, our fridge decided to die. Since it made a pretty distinct sound before dying, and since I had a sneaky suspicion it was the compressor, I wanted to find out if it was worth my while to get someone to look at it or if I should just by a new fridge. I called a few places, but Chris at Pambis was the only person who could tell me straight up (over the phone) what the issues might be, and what my options were. I ended up opting to buy a new fridge, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money since we were going to be leaving soon. Luckily for me, Pambis sells new but slightly aesthetically imperfect appliances. We bought the exact same fridge through them for half the price it would have cost if it was in perfect condition, and they helped me find a delivery company to deliver it and everything! All was going well until that fridge decided to do the same thing. Honestly, what are the chances?? (And did I mention we'd just bought a new house...and I was 9 months pregnant?) Anyway, it died on a Saturday and Chris and Pete delivered another (better) fridge on the Monday -- no questions asked. They were courteous and SO nice. It just arrived, so I don't know if I'm going to have a third round of bad luck, but I do know that the Pambis guys will take care of me if I do! Honestly, I don't know why anyone wouldn't use Pambis Appliance. I'm so lucky that I found them!!

    Washer repair

Pete was friendly, honest and the washer works now! He was conscious not to make a mess and had a truck full of supplies to do the job. Very helpful. I would recommend to others.

    Fridge Repair

I used Pambis Appliance for fridge repair work recently. Mr. Pambis was very friendly both on the phone and in person. He arrived for the repair on the agreed on day, laid out a blanket in order to not make a mess, and tidied up after himself. He was professional and had all the equipment he needed to complete the repair in one appointment. Great Job!

    Fridge Repair

We came home one night to a fridge that was no longer cooling. I emailed Pambis Appliance late that evening, and got a response from Pete the next morning saying he could drop by around 9:00 - 9:30. He arrived at 9:10 and immediately diagnosed the problem as being a faulty switch. That particular part was no longer manufactured so Pete had to track down a generic kit that he could use as a replacement. He managed to locate one very quickly. Unfortunately I had to get to work, and Pete was flexible enough to pick up the part that afternoon and come back after I got home from work later that day in order to complete the repair. As an added bonus he fixed the front rollers and adjusted them so that the fridge doors would swing shut on their own. He even replaced a broken handle bracket with a new one that I had purchased a few years ago but had never got around to replacing. Overall I do not know how things could have worked out any better. Within 2 minutes of meeting Pete I felt like I had known him for years. I would absolutely recommend Pambis Appliance for any type of appliance repair, and I will definitely be calling on them for future repairs.
