    Gas Oven Repair

    Peter came to fix my gas stove. He was was extremely busy and made a point to contact me to inform me of his eta. When he arrived he was honest and informative about the problem. He had my oven repaired within an hour and it hasn't worked this well since I got it! I have nothing but good things to say about Pambis Appliance Service. I am even considering going to them to purchase a Washing Machine!

    Gas dryer not Heating

    My gas dryer was not heating so I called Peter on Friday and he set up an appt on Monday afternoon. I asked that he call me at work so I could meet him at home and he did. I appreciated the fact that he met me on the day and time that he said - which for Toronto is amazing. He was very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. He had my dryer working in about a 1/2 hour. He even checked out my washer and gave me hints and tips for it to run more efficiently. It was a pleasure doing business with him. Thank you Peter.

    Furnace Repair

    My Furnace died on me. Called Pete as I was reffered by a friend for their exemplary service. They were quite busy but still managed to book an appointment within 48 hours. Showed up as scheduled and fixed the problem within 30 min. Very honest people, would certainly call them back again.

    Oven Repair

    The ignitor in my tenants gas stove broke last week. Of the top seven companies that I called from HomeStars, only two got back to me. One from Brampton referred me to Peter at Pambis and Peter called me the next day. We organized his visit today and Peter was waiting for me when I came home. He quickly diagnosed the malfunction, replaced the part. The job was done quickly, correctly and cleanly. I recommend him highly.

    Fixed my dishwasher

    Peter was professional, very friendly and prompt. He called immediately and was at my condo almost right away. Even fixed my pot lights while he was there. I will definitely be recommending their services to friends and family.

    Electric range stopped heating

    My electric range stopped heating properly in late August -- the oven would sometimes heat, sometimes not. The first few appliance repairs I called didn't even get back to me, even after I waited several weeks and left multiple messages. So then I called Pambis, and the experience was a complete 180: immediate response to my call, friendly follow-ups, and effortless assistance scheduling a visit. As for the actual service call: Peter went right to work, and was courteous and professional. It was a bit of a tricky issue with no 100% sure-fire way to know what was causing the oven not to heat consistently, but he fixed a few potential things that "were the most likely reasons it was not working", and still inspected everything to cover all his bases. Even though the service call was way back in October, I waited until now to write my review because the heating issue was intermittent -- so I wanted to give it plenty of time and repeated use until I felt safe to say it was fixed. It's been about 3 months since he came by, and it has heated up every time since. I'm glad I didn't have to plunk down extra cash on replacement parts, but Peter laid out all the potential scenarios for me just in case. The entire experience was a breeze. Peter has good people skills, as did Chris when I spoke to him on the phone. I'd recommend Pambis to those that need work done.

    Stove burner replacement

    One of the burners on our ten year old + stove stopped working. I called Gus and he came over to diagnose the problem. After confirming that the burner would have to be replaced, he returned a couple of days later with the part and successfully carried out the repair. Friendly and professional service.

    Dishwasher Repair

    Peter was very professional and prompt with servicing my dishwasher issue. When I called him, he gave me a time window of when he'd be showing up, and as promised he called me in advance to give me an hour lead time, so that I could leave work and meet him at my apartment. He quickly diagnosed the issue, tidied up and was on his way. I will certainly call him again should I have any other appliance issues.

    Dryer Repair

    Pambis had done a manufacturer's required "recall" service on our dishwasher years ago and has also serviced appliances at our Dad's home for years, so when our dryer stopped heating, we called them to service it. The problem was diagnosed very quickly, the repair carried out fast and efficiently, and all was done for a reasonalbe price. I will definitely call them again if we need anything else fixed.

    Washing Machine Repair

    I reached out to a few places when my Maytag stopped working and found Peter to be very quick to respond and had an idea right away what the issue could be. I received very prompt and professional service with a reasonable price and have not had a problem since the repair. I would definitely recommend Pambis and will use them again if I have any problems with my washing machine in the future.
