We could not be happier with the beautiful job completed in great time. John Hornby was both meticulous and hardworking. Simon delivered exactly what he said he would and then some. The deck truly completes our backyard oasis. Would recommend them hands down.

Perfectview did deliver a well designed and well constructed deck/pergola. I was impressed with their knowledge of by-laws, adherence to schedule and desire to please the client. I do not think the picture captures the deck as it is taken in winter. I sure would like to post another picture when I have my patio furniture on the deck and of course the flower pots and hanging baskets

My wife and I had a great experience with Perfect View Decks (PVD). We first met with Simon who was very professional and eager to show us other PVD projects in our neighbourhood. Simon also introduced us to their customers who all spoke very highly of PVD's work. Our project quote included removing our 22 year old cedar deck and replacing it entirely with Trex decking product. The quote was very reasonable, the crew who worked on our deck were prompt, polite, professional and regularly making great suggestions to make the deck look beautiful. This project went very smoothly and the crew took the necessary time to ensure everything turned out great. Adam Simon and Chris were contracted to build a Trex Deck at our new home in Gravenhurst. Adam and Chris did the job over 6 days from start to finish. The deck is the envy of the neighbourhood; as I knew it would be. You see in 2005 Simon and Adam built my first Trex deck at our last home on Skeleton Lake. That deck gets 16 plus feet of snow annually and hasn't shifted an inch in almost 12 years. I would not hesitate to recommend Simon's designs and Adam and Chris's work is top notch. You will pay a little more for a Trex deck but you will have it twice as long as a wood deck. Give these guys a call when you need and want the best designs and finest craftmanship to showcase your property to the world.

Simon and Adam Delivered on their promise. The project, completed on time inspite of modifications. In fact the quality of Adam's workmanship exceeded our expectation. He was patient and listened carefully, offered excellent suggestions. Overall a great job. I have no hesitation in recommending Simon and Adam of Perfect view Decks.

We are very happy to have found PVD to replace our pressure treated wood deck with a composite deck. We had a design in mind which they improved upon. They are hard working and reliable; they showed up when they said they would and we never had to follow up on things. We were kept apprised of progress and timeline at all times. They pay great attention to detail and their workmanship is incredible. We would not hesitate to recommend PVD!

Simon and his hard-working crew did an amazing job from start to finish with our somewhat difficult deck. He was able to provide a logical and attractive design as well as a reasonable quote (they're not the cheapest, but definitely cheaper than some of the "big guys" out there, with MUCH better value for $). The job was complicated by a difficult demolition and structural issues with the house...Simon worked with us to get through it despite a great deal of added hassle and effort for them. We changed our minds with various materials choices, etc (spent the extra $ for composite and a drainage/waterproofing system to allow dry underside of deck; glass and stainless steel railing), but Simon rolled with the punches and never upsold us. There were some minor issues with water leakage, but Simon stood by his work and made the necessary fix. We are very happy with the end result (my famously critical and knowledgeable father in law was impressed with the workmanship...a true rarity).

Simon must have been suspicious when I immediately signed the moment he presented me the quote for a rather complicated job. His quote was about 1/2 of all other quotes that I had received. What Simon / Adam / John delivered was definitely not 1/2 the quality based on price, but I would safely say it rivaled and even surpassed those of that would have been twice the price. Friends and neighbours who had 'witnessed' the entire process were all impressed and even commented that, "They are not simply deck builders, but skilled carpenters." A concurrent contractor who was doing some other work at the same time whom also built decks (which I did not know) was highly impressed with the results. The attention to detail and 'ownership' of the work was incredible. At the same time, they were incredibly easy to work with great suggestions improving the plans and designs that I had specified, and modified along the way. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to transform their backyard with a deck.

In September 2005 I had a deck installed by Simon and Adam and am very pleased to see that they have maintained their 10 rating. Our deck is still absolutely stunning and solid after 8 years. Thank you Simon & Adam. Marj & Stefan
