    Fujitsu Ductless Heat Pump

    I was looking for a heating and cooling solution for my offices in a very old building with electric heat. Our challenge was to keep the look of the property while providing energy efficient heating and cooling. Joe from Premi-Air came highly recommended. At our meeting, Joe was very informative and paid attention to the details of the job and helped me select the best system for my offices, a 4 zone Fujitsu Ductless Inverter Heat Pump. On the day of the installation, Joe introduced his team as artists. Dan and Mike are true artists and took the time to review all their work with me before starting. The job was done neatly and with much care. They even dusted the silicone seals with dust from the bricks so it would not be noticed. The system looks great, operates quietly and does a great job. I highly recommend Joe and his team.

    air conditioning

    Was recommended to them by a friend and I must say they did a great job. They were always friendly and courteous, and the service guy came right on schedule. I've seen cheaper but I'm happy to pay for the service, recommended!

    Air conditioner supply and install/ gas leak repair

    I contacted Joe after reading the Homestars reviews. From the beginning, Joe, the proprietor of Premi-Air has been responsive, courteous and professional. Instead of giving a quote over the phone, he came over to our house and evaluated its individual cooling needs before giving us a quote. On the day of the installation, his team was courteous, and their workmanship was very neat. Then Joe returned once again to inspect the AC installation. We really appreciated the attention to detail. On the second ocassion, we found a gas leak by our fireplace. After Enbridge confirmed the leak and shut the gas supply to our house, I had to scramble to get the leak repairs ... on a Sunday. I emailed Joe and immediately received a response. He said I should contact his emergency line. Bob, who manages the emergency line, arranged for a technician to come over to our house ASAP. We were very grateful for the fast service.

    Routine Maintenance of AC and Furnace

    Premi is great. They have been at my home 3 times to perform regular maintenance on my AC and furnace. Their office and service staff are a pleasure to deal with. Premi's service technicians are friendly and respectful and make sure that all components are in their best working order before leaving. I have recommended Premi to my family would continue to do so to others.

    Central air not working

    I contacted several repair companies to get a service person to find out why my a/c conked out. A couple didn't call back, one did and I set up an appointment with him. He didn't call back when he said he was for the confirmation of the appointment. So I called a few more companies, and PREMI was one of them. Bob Painter talked me through the problem over the phone. No service call, no cost. Just plain old-fashioned free advice and a new furnace filter. He may not have made a fee on this call, but I am recommended him to my entire network, and will call him and only him for future problems. You are a GEM Bob! Thank you!

    A/C problems: hot upstairs, cold down

    We live in a house built in 1950 that has two extensions added in the 1980s. Our A/C seemed to be working, but we had very poor circulation to the upstairs. We were wearing sweaters downstairs in order to get the upstairs slightly lower than outside temperatures. Sleeping upstairs at night was almost intolerable. I called Premi-Air based on reviews from this site. Talking the situation over with Bob on the phone, I decided to sign up for their annual heat and A/C maintenance plan, which would cover cleaning the A/C and blower system in the short term. The Premi-Air technician showed up and after looking around showed us that the air return from upstairs was a trickle and that the overall air returning to the blower was almost as cold as the air going out. We went from room to room closing off vents and returns until we could see warm air returning to the blower and cold air coming out quite well from the vents upstairs. The problem is now solved! Our house is a consistent temperature and very comfortable. No extra charge was made for the time of walking us through the airflows of the house. I look forward to the future maintenance visits.

    Air Conditioner Installation

    What a relief! Our air-conditioner had broken on the hottest day of the year! Thank goodness it was cooler downstairs, where we had to sleep. Premi Air's service was increadible! When we callled they came the same day!They had to come three times because the first day they came everything was frozen. The gentleman who came did an excellent job of explaining what all the potential problems might be but he couldn't say for sure because everything was frozen. The gentleman who came the second day confirmed what had been said and went even further to give us the option of fixing what was broken or replacing the whole thing. The machine was already 11 years olld and fiixing it just to last the summer didn't make any sense to us (even though we were so hot!!) We took the plunge and got a new appliance and Premi was very understanding about working out the financing for us. All of the staff we dealt with were very knowledgeable in their field, professional and courteous. We'd higly recommend their service to those in need. Thanks Prermi Air! Sheryl & Steven Burke

    Install new central air conditioner

    I was very impressed by Premi-Air's great customer service. Steve, from Premi-Air, came to our house and spent almost two hours checking our duct work, air flow and heat loss factors. He was very thorough and custom tailored a solution for us. The following week, Daniel and Mike, the installers came to our house and did an excellent job. They not only installed all the new piping into our basement ceiling, they perfectly refitted all of the ceiling tiles and vacuumed part of our basement floor. The new a/c has worked flawlessly and is much quieter and more energy efficient than the old unit. I'd highly recommend Premi-Air!

    New Furnace and Hot Water Heater

    Premi-Air knows all about customer service. In fact that's why we decided to go with them compared to the other quotes we got. They came to our house twice: first to see what we needed and then second to fully describe what their solution was and why it was superior to others. The installation was done in the timeframe promised and after the installation was done, they came back again to fine tweak the furnace so that it was at it's highest efficiency. We live in an old house and the first floor and second floor heat was about a 5 degree difference with our old furnace. With the high efficiency furnace Premi-Air installed, our second floor is now only 1 degree warmer than the first floor. A huge improvement. I highly recommend Premi-Air.

    HeatPump Service

    I just wanted to write and let you know that David came and looked at our heat pump this morning, and gave us the "straight goods" on it. Having had several technicians from two different companies in the past, this is the first time we felt we really understood the issues. David got it running much better, and when we're ready to replace it, you will be my first call. Sally
