    Town house

Don’t buy the new home from this builder I have a lot of issues. The issues on pdi has not been resolve properly my laundry room was incomplete and they have to come after two months to fix I have to pay to another person to fix it. How can you wait two months for something like thatDaniela is looking after the problems very uncompetitive person never return the emails phone sometimes return after 24 hours very rude. Never buy the air condition from them in the end you are paying 7000 for 2tone air I condition. I never enjoy it’s just the headache I bought with my own money. A lot of things are hidden poor customer service.

    Delays, delays and more delays

Development that was supposed to take 18 months (closing date set Fall of 2016) since the contract signing is now 36 months into development and is still far from being completed. The closing date has been changed 5 times and is now set as Fall of 2018 (24 months AFTER the initial 18 months. 42 months total). Being fed up with this, the builder allows reassignment to another buyer.. for $50,000! This is insanity!

    RUN in the opposite direction!!

Do yourself a favour and RUN dont walk in the opposite direction from any site this sorry excuse for a builder has their name attached to. Bought in 2014 in the Renaissance Townes community and just received yet another delay delaying our house TWO AND A HALF YEARS past our original closing date. As of right now, our house is framed, shingled and closed in with Windows yet they still feel they need an additional 7 months to deliver our home. Absolutely no sense of urgency and even less respect from this builder. To add insult to injury, they are so terrible at planning that they moved closing dates up for homes set to close in the summer and moved dates back to the fall for homes set to close in January. Since purchasing our home we've gotten engagaged, married and were currently expecting. It is taking me less time to GROW A HUMAN than it's taking them to build our house. Primont you suck!!!!!!!

    Renaissance Townes of Woodbridge

Purchased our townhome in Jan 2015 - closing in Jul 2016. Delayed closing until Nov 2016. Further delayed until May 2017. Again further delayed until Sep 2017. Yet again further delayed until Feb 2018 with a firm date. Received another delay notification with yet another firm date of Apr 2018. Seems like we put our money in a sinkhole and this "home to raise our family in" is nonexistent. Highly frustrated and living in limbo with a young child and no home to call home.

    Seasons Caledon

Save yourself the aggravation! Go with another builder Really trying to comprehend why this builder can't get it together and deliver their homes on time. One or two delays I can understand, but several delays which turns into YEARS of waiting from original closing is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Do they realize people plan life events around the closing of a new home???? Primont is messing with people's lives...customer service staff are not helpful at all. How is it that every month that passes, you have still been applying for city permits? Absolute nonsense. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUILDER WITH ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PURCHASES OF YOUR LIFE!

Been 2 years, and still no home

We are in the same situation as the person who wrote "Been 2 years, and still no home" review. It been 2 years and our home has been delayed 4 times. We are renting as well and primont homes have not started digging the basement. This is worst builder we have dealt with, we still don't know when they will get the building permits and start. There should be a way to hold those builders accountable like a class action suit.

Been 2 years, and still no home.

Booked a home with Primont back in October 2015 in Caledon, and we were supposed to get it by April 2017. They kept delaying it, and now they have delayed it four times now. They're third, and last time to delay it was supposed to be December 2017, but we received another letter saying it'll be delayed for the FOURTH time and we'll get it in APRIL 2018. For the record, they still haven't started digging the grounds for the basements yet. They only finished the roads. There's no sign of our house being built. There's no way that they'll give it to us by April 2018 either. Not happy with it at all. Would only recommend if you guys actually want the worst service, and your house to be delayed again and again.

    Heirloom in Markham - Castanet

We purchased our first home back in Dec 2012 with Primont. At that time, the area east of Donald Cousens Pkwy was just farmland with very little development. We were able to complete our Decor appointment in Jan 2013 with Brenda and our house closed by Aug 2013. No home closes without outstanding issues, but the customer care team at Primont was exceptional in addressing our issues. Mike, the onsite service rep (I would even go as far as calling him THE service manager) was always available to come in and address minor issues I had. There were also some items that were forgotten from our list of upgrades but the customer care centre was able to have the issues resolved with their contractors within a week! During our first year, we experienced a leak in the roof due to a massive ice storm and ice backing up over the shingles. I was lucky enough to catch Mike driving by in his truck and he came in to inspect the issue. He promptly scheduled a service call for us with the roofers as well as replaced a door frame and door in our master that was water damaged. I have been nothing but impressed by the attention to detail and genuine care from Mike, and the rest of the Primont team. After almost 4 years in our first home, we have sold it to move into a detached but I will always have great things to say about the builder, and the quality of our townhouse. I hope these pictures from our listing do it justice! Keep up the great work Mike and team, and remember to treat all your customers the way you treated us, like family. Ciao!

    Renaissance Townes

Purchased a townhome back in January 2015. Since then, have gotten married, had a child, and STILL no home. Not only does Primont not have the building permits yet, but the development has not even been registered with the City! We are living in limbo, renting a place until our home is finally ready, but seriously starting to worry that the whole development isn't going to happen. Primont customer service pretends to have little information on what's going on, and refuses to put purchasers in contact with anyone who has answers. Just disgraceful. These are people's lives they're dealing with!! ****BEWARE TO THOSE WHO HAVE YET TO SELECT UPGRADES*** You will be paying higher prices for certain features and changes to floor plans than did those who selected upgrades back in 2015.

    New Home Purchase, Markham, Ontario

A very pleasant experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in to purchase my home, right through to the follow up appointments, PDI and closing, I can honestly say every aspect of the process was smooth and effortless. Knowledgeable staff, friendly environment and superior customer service. Yes, I would definitely recommend Primont Homes!
