    New Home Puchase

    When buying a Primont home be aware of a term and condition in the Purchase and Sale Agreement which allows Primont to refund your deposit if they do not deliver your home in the agreed upon time frame. Primont delayed completion of a home and returned the deposit as per the Purchase and Sale Agreement. Since the time of signing the agreement and return of the deposit, the value of the home increased more than $50,000. Primont asked if I wanted to enter a new Purchase and Sale Agreement at the higher price. I politely declined. If considering entering a Purchase and Sale Agreement, maybe consider removing this term and condition or modifying it such that you will be compensated if the value increases and you are left with only your deposit.
