We hired Red Dog Roofing to replace the shingles covering the second storey of our house, and to replace an old skylight. We are very pleased with the job that they did. They came when promised, finished quickly, and cleaned up completely before they left. I recommend them highly.

Had Red Dog out to check my roof. First, the owner made it out to my place earlier than expected. He checked my roof and many of the repairs I feared I needed were not necessary. He could have told me anything. Overall, a great customer experience and I would highly recommend this company.

After getting several surprisingly high quotes, Paul provided us with a complete and comprehensive quote that addressed all our requirements within our budget. The job he and his crew did was professional and non stop. Several other roofers said it was a 2 day job, but Red Dog was finished in a single (long) day, including very thorough clean up. There was a small concern regarding a vent but after a call to Paul he returned to review and reassure us that there was no problem.

I'm glad I included Paul of Red Dog roofers on my list for estimate. The first contractor I called gave me a $6,800 for his service, I ask the guy if he's going to install solar power roof or something,too expensive. The second contractor I contacted returned my call after 2 days and kept asking when I wanted the work done, I was only asking for estimate and this one thinks he's the only guy available. I finally called Paul. He showed up on time to look at my roof to do estimate.He had everything put in paper and all the upgrades in case I wanted one. Finally on the day of work, Paul and his crew showed up on time. And when the work was over,his crew cleaned up every corner of my yard. I would reccommend this to anyone who is looking for a roofing contractor.

We found Red Dog Roofing through Homestars.com. We were impressed with the perfect ratings, and Paul and his crew definitely stood up to the 10 out of 10s!! Of all the roofing companies who came to the house, Paul was the only one who got right on our roof to give us an accurate estimate. He was the only one who told us we needed more vents, and noticed that the wood was rotting and needed to be replaced under the shingles between 2 of our skylights. All done in a day; no hidden costs surprised us on the day of. The quote we got was the amount we paid. Paul even went out to grab flashing for a new skylight he was installing for us as we didn’t realize it wasn’t included with the skylight we had purchased. Fantastic job, thorough cleanup; our neighbours who were home during the day and stopped by the house had only compliments for Red Dog too. Moreover, Paul advised us that there was a chance of leakage around a couple of old skylights. We decided not to replace the skylights, and sure enough they leaked when it rained. Paul has since made at least 4 or 5 more visits to locate and patch up the leak. Roof looks perfect! We’re very happy, and have already recommended Red Dog to friends and family. It has been a pleasure dealing with Paul and his crew from Red Dog Roofing from start to finish. All appointments were kept on time, the installation was exceptional, cleanup perfect and the pricing - we paid for a roof that has a 30 year warranty, which other vendors quoted us for a 20 year roof. As a professional and perfectionist it is good to see that quality service still exists and we were lucky enough to find Paul who is definitely in the top 10 percentile.

We called Paul as he was very highly rated on Homestars, and I must say that after completing our roof, he has earned his top dog rating. We had a very difficult roof to remove, 1 layer of cedar shingles and 3 layers of asphalt with our neighbours houses within 5 ft. on both sides. Paul and his crew removed all debris, cleaned up every night and kept our yard spotless. He called back without delay, and within a few days we were both up on my roof, discussing all the work that needed to be done. Paul’s expertise and keen eye for detail gave me confidence in Red Dog’s work, and his very competitive price sealed the deal. His honesty was also evident, as during our conversation he also willingly pointed out what work did not need to be done. Paul and the rest of the Red Dogs showed up early in the morning. All the work (shingle stripping/replacing, boards and torch-down on the flat area, removal and sealing of the chimney, minor woodwork fix-up) was completed on the same day. Cleanup was very good, with nothing left behind, and no visible evidence that they’d even been there at all. I highly recommend Paul and Red Dog Roofing to everyone for all your roofing needs!
