We chose Red Dog for an estimate based on good reviews on the Home Star website. The owner Paul did a good job of reviewing the estimate with us and answered our questions well. Their quote was in the middle of the 3 estimates we received. We wanted a quality job and feel that's what we got. The crew were efficient and pleasant and cleaned up well after the installation. There were no ugly surprises in terms of the final price.

Red Dog replaced our roof recently and I am very happy with the job. Our roof is extremely wonky because its an old house with two additions that weren't done well about 50 years ago, so we have a long uneven roof. The guys at Red Dog advised me beforehand that they couldn't make the roof even and they would do their best with the shingling and they did a great job despite the wonkiness. They did make one small error and put the wrong kind of vent where our bathroom fan exhaust is and when I told them they came right away and fixed it. Great job.

I called a few hightly rated roofers over to give me a quote. Paul was on time, very detailed in his quote including spending ample time with me on the roof going over what was required and what was not required. Paul always answered the phone or returned the call very quickly. His team was very professional, courteous and detailed oriented. The roof looks excellent. Strongly recommend.

We had our roof replaced on our 2-story house by Red Dog Roofing. The quote provided was very competitive, and the work was very well done. Workers were courteous, and clean up was exceptional. No nails were left behind for our 3 year old to find later. All in all we were very impressed, and have since recommended Red Dog Roofing to our friends and neighbours!

Red Dog Roofing (Paul and his crew) replaced all the shingles on our roof. We priced the job with various roofing companies, and Red Dog was not only the most competitive, but they also came across as the most competent. The roof they replaced was at our small business, and since we are open 7 days a week, we needed to request the work be done on a statuatory holiday. Red Dog was extremely accomodating to our request...they showed up on the scheduled day, and most importantly, did an excellent job of replacing our shingles. UPDATE: May 14, 2010 - We also had a minor roof repair job that needed to be done at our home (small hole in one spot on the roof). Based on our recent experience with them, we once again called on Red Dog Roofing to check it out. Paul came out to price the job, then completed the work, all in a timely and efficient manner.

After a heavy rainfall in March, my roof started to leak and so my search for a new roof began, with phone calls to several "reputable" companies. This was really a learning process for me, as I had no idea what was involved and the cost that would be associated with a new roof. I had three different estimates given to me, some with little explanation of the quote and some that had unnecessary materials which increased the overall price. Then Paul came to the rescue. His explanation and patience in answering all my questions regarding the replacement and cost for the new roof solidified my decision to give him the job. Paul's crew came on the morning I requested and worked steadily until the job was completed later on in the day. Since then the rain has fallen quite heavily and the winds have been gusty, yet my house remains safe and dry. Red Dog Roofing – Paul came and gave me an estimate for my house and after looking at colours for the shingles, I decided my garage roof should be done in the same colour as the house. Paul came back and gave me an additional quote for the garage. He called me on a Wednesday and asked if it was okay to come next day to do the job. Two of his crew were here before starting time and the rest arrived on time and within 6 hours they had both the house and garage completed and there was no mess. They were all very professional and I would recommend Red Dog Roofing to anyone who asked. Thanks to Paul and his crew for a job well done.

Red Roof came to us as a referral, and we had interviewed all the big name companies in town. They were all very quick to make an estimate, that seemed completely out of wack. This wasn't my first roofing job that needed to be done, so we had a rough idea. Paul came by, asked what was needed to be done, asked if we had other quotes, and offered the same package, he wasn't trying to buy the job, just gave us his best price....a handshake, 3 days later a very professional crew came by and 1 1/2 days later...beautiful...job done. Just wanted to drop a line to anyone looking for work done to their roof. I am not usually one who takes the time to rate things on-line. I had five quotes on my roof & Paul's was the best. I went to work and when I came home, the only way I knew anyone had been there was a beautiful roof atop my house. The area surrounding my house was spotless!!! This was a concern of mine since I have two young children and I was worried about the nails (from stripping 2 layers of shingles). Fantastic experience & I've already told a few of my friends to book in with Paul. I would certainly endorse Red Dog roofing to anyone looking for quality roofing at a very reasonable price.
