Mike showed up the next day to provide and quote and started working immediately. He made efforts to prep the ceiling properly, and transformed my living area. He was reasonably priced, and professional. A pleasure to work with so I had him paint my hallway recently as well. My neighbours recommended him, so they too were very happy with the job his crew provided.

Very professional - as good as it gets! Can't imagine anyone being more careful! Attentive to wishes regarding paint type and quality (environmentally friendly) and what hardware to remove or to leave in place. On time and final cost was as estimated.

I have had Mike and his team out to our home for several paint projects. They are very professional, clean and take pride and care in their work. We selected Room At A Time to paint our entire house! Mike & Jennifer were a pleasure to deal with and proved quickly that they were the right choice. Mike was easy to do business with, extremely flexible, offered great suggestions, looked for the most cost effective options that still produced a great result and completed the project a head of time and within budget.....overall a great experience. We added the additional complexity of a 3 year old that often got in the way and a new baby that needed to nap - the team was extremely patient and made every effort to work quietly and quickly to reduce any chance of inconvenience. I found "Room at a Time" on homestars based on their positive reviews and I'm glad I did. Called Mike in January since I went through a major reno of our first floor. Mike was very professional, informative, easy to work with and just an all around nice guy. Our reno was a nightmare, but Mike's team did a fantastic job. Painting included walls, ceiling, doors, trims and baseboards. I would not hesitate to use Room at a Time in the future. Thanks Mike

Our company had used Mike Hobson and his company, Room at a Time Painting, for prior personal projects, and it led us to contact him for the interior and exterior painting of a retail store (Ironhead at 555 Queen Street West) we were opening. The interior painting was handled by Anthony and his attention to detail and artistic abilities were plainly evident. Where we had a bright yellow wall butt up against the medium grey for the rest of the store, I was startled by the straightness of his lines. Perfect. Far better and crisper than I quite frankly thought possible. The rest of the store was equally well done. For the exterior, a two-story, full-height, streetfront job with hard-to-reach corners and intricate dental design, Mike was the master. He adeptly and patiently ensured everything was painted properly. More than happy these two gents painted for us. We almost made the mistake of thinking we could do it ourselves!

This is not the first time i have used Room at Time Painting. Mike is a great person(you will find that out in the first 5 minutes after meeting him). He is very professional and points things out that i would not have noticed. They painted my whole house minus 2 rooms in less than week and the house looks awsome. I was actually sad to see them go...Thanks Mike/Joe and crew for a job well done.

Mike was a true professional from beginning to end. I had possession of my new home before I actually moved in and had a very unique and high ceiling in the master bedroom that I wanted painted. Not only was the job done impeccably, but Mike was very accommodating and easy to work with, as well as just being a really nice guy! What can I say that hasn't been said before on the Homestars site about ROOM AT A TIME and Mike Hobson. The man and his company and staff are honest, diligent, forthright and provide excellent quality painting at fair pricing. As promised, Mike and his crew showed up on time, painted the home to our complete satisfaction, worked cleanly and proficiently and behaved in a gentlemanly manner at all times. Over the years I have employed a number of painting and decorating companies and I haven't always received the best results. Now I need look no further as I know I will call Mike for any future requirements.

Mike and his crew painted the exterior siding of my home. They preped,painted and cleaned up. They worked quickly and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend Room at a Time painting.
