Our real estate agent was anxious to get our house on the market but we still had a multitude of painting tasks to do throughout the house, including priming and painting new walls in the basement bedroom, bathroom and hallway, plus several doors and all the trim. I hired Mike because of his prompt attention to our needs and a very reasonable estimate. Within a week, he and Jen had everything done to perfection, even with us adding several extra "projects" as we found a crack here and there! It was a pleasure having them in our home - both so efficient, helpful, meticulous and congenial. I usually like to do the painting myself as I'm a perfectionist (especially with trim), but Mike and Jen are both so careful and professional, now that our house is sold, we look forward to having them out to paint our new home. I was referred to Mike from a friend who was happy with his work. I was too. Mike and Joe were professional, pleasant, punctual, and did a great job painting my condo. They even accommodated a re-do of the living room when I realized the selected color was too dark. Joe looked after many little details including caulking gaps in the doorframes and repairing minor cracks. All contributed to making the final product more professional. Highly recommended.

Received a personal quote from Mike (the owner) and was given a very competitive quote. We felt 100% comfortable with having him do our painting, especially while we were not home. Mike runs a 2 man team with himself and Joe, but Joe was the main guy who did all our painting and we couldn't be more happy. He was friendly and talkative and was very detail orientated when reviewing each room with us and where his progress was. Mike was always courteous and provided quick responses over emails or phone calls when we had questions. Overall words can't really express how they were able to finish the job faster than anticipated and maintaining professional workmanship. We would not hesitate to bring them back in the future, except they've essentially already painted everything for us and we have nothing else left for them to paint. (we only did not have them do the 4 bedrooms) Also to boot, they did a lot of extra touch ups for us that we didn't expect which was incredible service, especially when they didn't have to. These guy did an amazing job painting one of my rooms and I loved the price they offered. They did a very quick job and made sure to prep the area before starting and made sure to finish neatly. I recommend this company.

Mike and his guys have painted almost every room in my house over the last five years. He works within my budget and comes back every spring to do another room or two. His ability to cut in around the trim is what sets him apart from the many other "painter" out there. See you next spring again .

The crew of One Room at a Time are professional . They are extremely clean workers by the end of the day you would not have known you had painters working in the house. They did an excellent job and came back to re due any area that i was not satisfied with. Mike does an excellent quote capturing all requirements and were right in line with other quotes i recieved. Mike and team were on the job when they said they would be and completed in the timeframe they quoted. Me and my family were absolultely pleased with the work and would recommend him to anyone who was looking for a Painter.

Mike and Jen did great work and were easy to have around. They went above and beyond their scope of work by fixing tiles, doorknobs etc. Their prep and painting turned out beautifully.
