These guys have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, they had one of there guys who was very nice come in and tell me the problem was one thing and I would have to change the valve for pipes. (He was a very nice guy but just not knowledgeable in all areas) I asked him to please check if the pilot light was out below some how, that way I would know if thats why we didn't have hot water. He said he couldn't do that or that there was no other way to check if it was out. Told me he was 80% sure that it was the pipe. We changed the pipe and of course the next day it was not working. Another guy came back from Roto Rooter Etobicoke (same place) and basically touched one part of the hot water tank and was able to tell me that the pilot light was out that gave the hot water, and that it wasn't a pipe issue and the other guy should have been able to check that.... The worst part of all this is I have been calling all week trying to talk to someone about the fact that they shouldn't have charged me for something they could have simply checked. The manager will not return my calls, has the other sales people making up excuses as soon as they know I am calling about her not being in the office all of a sudden or on another call. Of course because I am calling for some sort of explanation or refund they are just avoiding the situation. Which makes me believe they know they are wrong. The way I see it if a customer has an issue it should be addressed is some matter not ignored. Thats good business 101....So if I were you do not give them your business unless you want to be robbed..

Plugged kitchen drain on March 30, 2018.....Mike K was onsite within 60 minutes and snaked the drain and unplugged it in time for dinner about an hour later This has actually been the second time Roto-Rooter has been to our house on a festive occasion....they respond promptly, do the job professionally, and are neat and conscientious about their work Highly recommended

I called Roto rooter to repair a floor drain which was overflowing . They quoted $9000 to replace the drain which they said was blocked by a tree roots. They charged $400 for the visit. I called the city who sent someone and said the cause was something else and fixed it for free. It's been 10 days and it is working fine.

I called Roto Rooter on a Monday evening, and they were able to send out Mike K in the morning. My top floor triplex tenants had managed to back up the kitchen and bathroom drains, so all the water was just draining into the bath tub. Mike did an excellent job using the snake to pull out a GIANT hairball lodged about 10ft deep into the drain pipe. He also left some drain coating solution to help avaoid the problem in the future. Mike was a great help and I'm glad we got the issue resolved quickly!

I want to comment Mike R from roto-rooter. What looked like a simple plugged toilet turned out to be more complicated. A vaporizer (nicotine, marijuana, etc) was lodged in the toilet, with approximate dimensions of 2 inches by 1 inch by 1/2 inch. A solid object plugging the toilet, and risking damage to the condo as well as the condos below. Mike was able to get the object out of the toilet, after he removed the toilet, saving a replacement of the whole toilet. Mike was polite, clean, respectful and got the job done. I would recommend Mike for any plumbing issues in the future and if I need plumbing services, I will request Mike specifically.

My sewer backed up and was in need of help! Called Roto- Rooter and they immediately booked an appointment with representative by the name of Trevor. The professionalism, knowledge and courteousness of this individual was outstanding! Trevor was able to rectify my issue within an hour complete and his efficiency coupled to his explanation of what causes blockage educated me while giving me confidence in calling Roto-Rooter for any other issues that may arises in the future. If this is your standard of professionalism, knowledge and efficiency you empower your employees with, then Trevor is this poster child for your company! Extremely happy. Thank you

Had a back up of water in a shower stall and tried to remedy the situation myself. That didn't work. Called RR and they had Jermaine here very quickly. He was courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. He had it all under control in about an hour. Way better service than any plumber I know. Their card is now on file at my house

Luke quickly answered a call to deal with a leaky laundry sink, which he fixed. He also checked out a shower head. He is professional, courteous, and friendly. We're very pleased with Luke and Roto-Rooter's service.

On Wednesday January 3, 2018 our toilets were all backed up and would not flush. I called Roto Rooter who had a service specialist at our office within the hour. After about 90 minutes of investigation our service rep called his colleague to review the issue. The ended up spending about 4 hours at our office and discovered that tree roots had created an obstruction in our sanitary sewer. Within 24 hrs we had utility out to locate all utilities (Gas, Bell, Hydro etc...) The following day the excavation team dug down to remove the tree roots and our issue was resolved. I cannot say enough about the professionalism the quality of work and the amazing customer service provided by Mike and Adam Kolnik and Igor Barchuk and his team. Thank you all!!
