We would highly recommend Royal Decks. Julian was very helpful in designing and helping with choosing the proper decking materials. Steve and Harley are exceptional workers in carpentry, from removing our old deck...building the new one...to cleaning up afterwards.( not one piece of debris was left on the ground) Thank you Royal Decks.

Thank you Royal Decks for the great carpentry workmanship, tidiness, professionalism and willingness to address on-site questions with excellent solution suggestions. My wife and I both highly recommend Steve and Harley. And I also highly recommend Miro who handled our preliminary request and, even though very busy, communicated excellently throughout from early specs, spec changes until work commenced. From the point work started Steve and Miro both kept us informed until work was completed last Friday.

Royal Decks built our deck in North York in June 2014 - within timing and budget. I feel lucky we found them as it was probably our best experience out of our quite reach history dealing with various building / home improving companies. We enjoyed working with Royal Decks from the stage of the quote submission to finishing the project. We chose Royal Deck out of several companies who provided the quotations - we were working with Julian on design and price: he was very punctual, responsive and creative to help us to find a way to get the perfect design meeting our needs (upscale look and feel, privacy, low maintenance, practicality - e.g. shed under the higher level, space for gazebo) within the budget. They started the project exactly when they promised. Royal Decks demonstrated high quality of craftsmanship and attention to details. Everyone we worked with demonstrated high level of professionalism and understanding of our needs, they were flexible to accommodate our changing requests during the project and showed absolutely great customer service in dealing with and fixing of few day-to-day issues during the project. We are happy to recommend Royal Decks and hope new customers will enjoy their new decks like we do today. Huge thanks to Miro, Julian and entire Royal Deck Team, we truly got our dream deck!

We contracted Royal Decks to design and build a dual-purpose carport and deck at the rear of our house. Miro came up with an excellent design and reasonable quote. At that time we needed to obtain necessary permits and the process took a lot longer than expected. Throughout this, Miro provided additional drawings and information when needed and waited patiently. The deck was built in stages, further delayed by the unusual past winter. Steve provided superb services and built a fantastic deck. The process was seamless, we did not have to every ask for information or follow-up and this included liaison with the city Inspector. Would not hesitate to recommend Royal Decks.

Miro was very helpful, professional, and responsive from design till completion. Price quoted was reasonable. Steve and his team built a beautiful deck with excellent craftmanship. Overall they provided great customer service during the process and we are very satisfied with the result.

Great from start to finish. Miro was easy to work with, very professional and provided lots of insight. I was having concrete done at the same time and Miro was able to drop by at a moment's notice and get the posts in so my other projects could also go ahead. I had searched the Internet for designs and came up with my own custom combination and Miro's team was able to make it not only a reality but much better than I had imagined. The price was actually lower than others who were not offering the same quality of materials. I decided to go with PVC for the horizontal decking and wood for the Pergola and rails. Miro returns calls promptly and you never have to chase him. His "zero pressure' approach to sales is a refreshing approach. I've had no issues with my deck and as a major "do it yourselfer" I strive for perfection and I haven't found any flaws. The deck was build by REAL carpenters not by the average joe who slaps up some wood in a day and calls it done. The deck did cost a lot as I choose PVC over composite and wood but PVC is even better than composite and it's been zero maintenance. I'd advise to always do with something a bit more maintenance free for the decking as a minimum. This year I'll have Royal Decks complete the deck skirt (couldn't do it last year due to concrete work). I'd highly recommend Royal Decks for a professional quality looking and long lasting deck.

We hired Royal Decks to design and construct a deck in our backyard to include a hot tub. Miro was excellent to work with. He really listened to our ideas and designed a multi-level deck that maximizes the space in our backyard. His price was very competitive and his design had the "flare" we were looking for. We sought out 3 different companies. The design by Miro was by far the best and so was his price. He was very patient and flexible with some of the changes that we made along the way. The carpenters (Harely and Steve) who constructed our deck were very professional, friendly and meticulous. They finished the job well ahead of schedule. We are extremely satisfied with our "Backyard Oasis" and would recommend Royal Decks to our friends and family.

I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND ROYAL DECKS. I SEARCHED MANY COMPANIES FROM HOMESTARS AND MIRO FROM ROYAL DECKS WAS PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. WHEN I INTERVIEWED MIRO TO DISCUSS MY DECK REPLACEMENT HE SHOWED ME MANY FANASTIC DECKS THAT HE BUILT WITH HIS COMPANY ROYAL DECKS. MIRO ALSO RETURNED CALLS AND EMAILS WHEN PROMISED. WHEN OUR PROJECT STARTED ARTHUR THE CARPENTER AND PHILLIP WERE VERY CAPABLE AND THEY WORKED HARD AND DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE ALSO VERY POLITE AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND THEY KEPT OUR SITE CLEAN EVERY DAY. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROYAL DECKS.
