Front yard patio
I wanted to change the look of my front patio and I contacted Royal Decks after my daughter recommended them. From the moment they got in touch with me to the moment they finished working on the project they were extremely professional. They listened to my ideas, made all the changes that I asked for and delivered a final patio that was exactly as I had envisioned. The workers were hardworking and the project manager Michael was always ready to answer any of my questions. I would definitely recommend this company and I am so pleased I chose them.

Decks and landscape lighting
Miro and his team at Royal Decks and Landscapes did a fabulous job building our two decks and installing landscape lighting. The team worked long hours through all types of weather. The site was kept tidy each night The decks are well built and look great.

Front porch of our dreams!
We needed our porch redone since it was rotting. They were able to give us a quote and start construction pretty much right away. We weren't exactly sure what we wanted design and material wise, and they helped us through that and were really great at giving us options after we did some online research. We went with composite decking and skirting for longevity and low maintenance of the porch. The porch was finished fast and the workers worked SO hard every day to get it done and get it done properly! I can't thank you all enough for our beautiful new porch that is the envy of the neighborhood!

backyard deck build
Our existing three-year-old deck was collapsing due to poor workmanship & needed replacement. Royal Decks and Landscapes was one of five contractors we met with when we decided to replace our existing backyard deck. We were impressed with the detailed observations & suggestions from Miro to improve the look and quality of the deck; a big difference from all the other contractors who arrived, took measurements, & then dropped off a quote without any meaningful discussion of lighting, railing, & quality options and issues. For example, through discussion with Miro, we gained an understanding of deck lighting & railing options, deck construction (i.e., Royal Decks vs other contractors), decking material, along with how a deck expansion would look adjacent to our existing pool deck. Once we decided on retaining Royal Decks, we visited the Royal Deck showroom to view & select decking material & options, & Miro provided 3 D design drawings from various angles. The work was completed in January & February 2023 during periods of cold but clear weather. The crew of Alex & Josh were professional, friendly, & worked hard during some very cold days. The crew explained the work underway, especially the decking under-structure which for us was the most important part of the build given our recent experience with our prior deck. Royal Decks is not the least expensive contractor but brings more quality & expertise to the deck build process than any other contractor we encountered. The quality of the work performed was worth the price. We look forward to enjoying our deck this summer for years to come. Thank you Miro, Alex, Josh, and Steve.

Stone Retaining Garden Walls + Steps
Miro, as usual, was great. I have used him and his team before for a composite deck in Mississauga ($20,000+), which was expertly designed, constructed and completed. The same level of expertise and performance was evident in the completion of my most recent stone work project with Miro ($18,000+). The project manager, Michael, was especially accommodating and responsive. I would certainly recommend Miro and his team and will use him for any upcoming projects.

Deck Project
This was our second time working with Miro and his team at Royal Decks - they are amazing. Hands down the best experience. They are great at design, Miro had some good suggestions for us on how to best use the space. The construction team are excellent, full time experienced workers with attention to detail. The finished product looks great and we were very happy. Would not hesitate to use again and recommend Royal. Thanks Miro!

An exemplary company
Choosing Royal Decks provided quite an experience to us because despite the fact that their numbers were way above our budget we decided to stick with them and, in the end, were extremely happy with our decision. When we signed the contract Miro confidently said to us: do not worry, we will take good care of you! From the very beginning, the first contact with Anita, the first phone conversation with Miro, so timely scheduled and punctual, his ensuing first visit to our house, our visit to their store; everything was performed with such professionalism that we could not help but feel positively impressed. Then, when the time for the execution arrived, and after seamless discussions with Arens with regards to the projects computerized 3D plans and drawings, we met Steve, the project manager, who made sure all the questions were answered, and all the problems solved, at least so it seemed. What a character, we did have fun. He was very helpful from start to finish, very knowledgeable and experienced, providing guidance and full support to Garry, the master carpenter, the star of the project in our opinion, who, in his humble, respectful ways, has such a passion for his work that we can say with certainty our deck is perfect, and if not, almost perfect. He is careful, attentive to details, a master craftsman. In our perception, relentlessly pursuing a work of art. Royal Decks took good care of us, Miro was right, they delivered, indeed.

Backyard makeover - raised deck, patio, retaining wall, regrade/sod
The Royal Decks team took our ugly backyard and turned it into a beautiful functional outdoor space that we could not be happier with! Materials and workmanship were of the highest quality. We were VERY impressed by the attention to detail and work ethic of both the landscaping and carpentry crew - and our project managers, Michael and Steve were always available to answer questions and check in. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Thanks Miro and Team!

Deck, Pergola, Privacy Fence and Landscaping - Brampton
Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Royal Decks & Landscaping for the amazing work they performed on our back deck, pergola, privacy fence and surrounding landscaping for both the backyard and front/side yard. From the principal ownership of Miro Simecek to all support staff of Anita in administration, Arens Galanxhi (project designer/estimator) Michael Scriven (project manager landscaping), Steve Currie (project manager carpentry) and their crews (Sandu & Jagpar for landscaping) and (Alex & Josh for carpentry) were professional and approachable through the entire project. We had originally obtained three to four quotes for replacement of our 15 year old deck, pergola and privacy screen and although Royal Decks were possibly not the least expensive, they were the only ones that had vision of what our property could look like with new designs and materials. Miro Simecek , principal owner personally came to visit us a couple of times to scope our project and we visited his showroom to view selections of certain materials and there was never any pressure and made us feel comfortable with our own timelines. We liked the design so much we decided to add landscaping (back and front) to the deck & pergola project and Arens (project designer) brought it all together and the crews brought it to life. They removed our old deck, pergola & privacy fence and graded our entire backyard and front/side yard for landscaping. Their workmanship is top notch (you get what you pay for) and that saying stays true with Royal Decks and Landscaping. New Deck
We entrusted Royal Decks with bringing our backyard deck vision to life and the entire team exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, the communication, professionalism and teamwork was exceptional and were grateful to you for the wonderful job you did in building our dream deck with quality materials, skillful craftsmanship, pride, precision, and care. Our initial meeting was with Miro and we gravitated to his professional, down-to-earth style. He visited us at home to assess the design we had in mind, and how it would scale in our backyard and asked questions to fully understand our vision. He was helpful and patient in answering our questions while offering insights and ideas to help us decide on the next steps. After obtaining an initial quote and approx. timelines, proceeding with Miro was an easy decision. He was friendly, easy to communicate with, and always prompt, professional, and dependable. Anita did a great job in communicating timelines, relevant updates and next steps, keeping us in the loop throughout. She was clear, concise, and timely. Arens was instrumental in bringing our initial design sketch to life and eventually converting it to a rendition suitable for City permit and builder purposes. He even presented an alternative suggestion to the design of the stair stringers which we found appealing. Were very happy with the end result. Steven was our Project Manager. Friendly, efficient, and experienced, he took control of the physical aspects of the design and did an exceptional job in answering all my questions. His knowledge, experience, and capability resulted in an end product were thrilled with. Alex was our lead carpenter and Josh was his helper in-training; together they were a true team, working with incredible pride and precision youd think they were building their own deck. Their workmanship was outstanding. Weve been enjoying our deck and cant wait to enjoy it for a full season next year. Thank you Miro and the entire Royal Decks team.
