We engaged Royal Decks for our backyard renovation and we can't recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, their team exhibited exceptional skill and professionalism. They made sure to address all our concerns and worked with us to adapt changes with ease. Their craftsmanship is top-notch, turning our vision into reality with impressive attention to detail. Communication was clear and timely, and their commitment to delivering high-quality work was evident throughout the project. customer service was outstanding.

It was such a pleasure and wonderful experience working with Royal Decks and Landscapes. Starting from project conception and design, to project management, to demolition of the old deck and installation of the new deck with lighting and some landscaping of the yard, they are professional, friendly and responsive to our questions and requests. Even though everyone involved in the project was excellent, a special shout out goes to Garry who is an exceptional carpenter. He is fast, keeps the work space clean and tidy and is quality and detail oriented. We will definitely work with Royal Decks in the future as we continue to improve our outdoor living space and yard.

Can't say enough good things about this company. We had a huge 2-level deck and a balcony torn out and replaced. The crew was skilled, smart, polite, super kind to our dog and resourceful - when we needed a downspout elbow and it wasn't immediately available Arthur 3D-printed one!! I was impressed by the little extras we hadn't expected - the waterproofing applied to all of the structural support beams, the landscaping fabric and gravel placed under the deck to prevent any growth (we'd had bare earth before), the nice finishing around corners and the use of a concrete saw to neatly edge a sill badly formed in a previous renovation that the deck boards would abut. When there was a problem with width variations in the manufacturer's composite boards, they carefully rearranged boards and corrected spacing between them so sections of the deck looked visually perfectly aligned. So many ways this crew surpassed expectations. We are delighted and convinced that this new deck will long outlive us. Highly recommend.

Royal Decks provided design options with a really useful visualization tool (see pic), provided an estimate, and then acquired all the permits and built the deck. All the people - Steve, Michael, Arthur, Charles - who worked on the deck were friendly, hard-working and highly skilled, as well as going above and beyond by building in the winter - see pic of Arthur under our cottage drilling the side of the deck! They problem-solved and discussed options with us for specific questions. Really a great experience. Would work with again in a heartbeat.

We wanted to replace and expand the deck on the back of our home. What was there was too small for our needs, was badly weathered and somewhat utilitarian in design. A tradesperson doing some work for us suggested we contact Royal Decks & Landscapes he recommended them highly. We did some checks online, including on HomeStars and gathered other feedback - it was all extremely positive & we felt they were likely the right firm to work with. We met with Miro and Arens to consider what might work in the space we had and what Royal Decks could design and build for us. The design work they completed, professionalism displayed and interest in working with us quickly convinced us that Royal Decks was definitely right for the job we needed done. It was a very good decision on our part -Royal Decks did an exceptional job! The work done and support provided through all the preliminary steps was great. Even as we waited on the City for permits and approvals, planning and prep work continued. Some minor changes were made to design and finishes and accessories selected. Anita was great at keeping us posted on what was happening and when approvals were received. Loved the technology she uses to facilitate payments it made easy to use, secure and convenient. The delays by the City in issuing permits meant demolition of the old deck and construction of the new was delayed. As soon as permits were in hand and they could get us in queue, Steve was on site to walk through the project with us, covering off what would happen, making sure everything could happen as proposed and confirming what to expect. The oversite he then provided to the project was impressive given how busy he is. Steve was first class to work with - we really appreciated his attention to the details and his noting the little things that took the finished result from very good to great. In this type of a project the result is heavily dependent on the quality of the workmanship put into it. Arthur was assigned as lead carpenter, and we quickly came to appreciate his expertise and commitment to quality in the work being done. Matt and Gary who were onsite to assist, were great and obviously here with that same commitment to doing a great job. Michael and the landscaping team were also very good and finished up that work exactly as we expected. Due to weather, condo board rules and a couple delays beyond anyones control, construction ran a few days longer than planned but the wait was absolutely worth it. We are extremely pleased with the end result. The deck looks great and has been the topic of many conversations with neighbours and those passing by there have been many positive comments and admiring looks! We are extremely pleased with the work of Royal Decks and Landscapes by Miro and his team and would highly recommend their services to anyone considering a deck and landscape project.

I had a problem with the concrete footings for the support columns of my carport. After years of contacting several companies to effect the repairs, most saying no and others that just didnt bother to show up, Royal Decks & Landscapes was suggested. Skeptical at first, I contacted Steven and sent a couple of pictures showing the scope of work. I was pleasantly surprised when he came by the next day to get a look at the job. A few days later I received an agreeable quote. The work began on Aug. 22/23 and was completed on Aug. 25/23 (the 24th was rained out). Im very happy that Royal Decks & Landscapes went above and beyond their normal scope of work to take on this unusual task. Now theres peace of mind knowing the carport wont collapse. I have no hesitation recommending this company. Their work was on time, efficient and reasonably priced. Special thanks to Steven for organizing the job and to Garry for his hard work.

We had a new deck built by another company. Unfortunately they did not do a good job . I was concerned about the safety of the deck. I decided to call in a company that specializes in decks ,after checking out the reviews for Royal Decks I gave them a call. I was told that none of the work done was up to today's standard. I talked to their representative Steve and we came up with a plan to fix the safety issues without tearing the whole thing down. My husband and I are very happy with the work they did and would highly recommend Royal Decks. They were easy to talk to and met our needs and expectations on the scope of work to be done.
